Delicious food with excellent service. I fell in love with the outdoor street dining setting - there were lots of tables outside, music, and good vibes. The pasta was nice and firm and the saffron and mozzarella arancini was a highlight.

One of my favourite pastas in Sydney! Tasted delicious and the texture of the pasta was also done to my preference. We ordered the fettucini from the truffle menu and it was delicious. The roasted fioretto was also a delight. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here.

I often get asked where I think has the best authentic Italian in Sydney… and to think I’ve found it in the heart of Leichhardt 😍 Truly some of the flakiest fish and succulent sirloin I’ve ever tasted, this menu quickly became top 3 foodie experiences I’ve had here! @ahungryhalfie

The best authentic Italian pizza - Napolitano style! You can’t help but notice how the owner Michele is a bit of a local inner west celebrity. As frequent dinners shout out to greet him, his personality adds to ambiance of the experience as he greets all his diners with an old school type of hospitality. The food is great, service is great and the experience is beautiful. Come here for a classic, simple but elegant meal.

Had a really wonderful time here last night. This place is my most favourite Italian restaurant in Sydney. Every single dish we ordered was amazing and the service was excellent too. Michael was hospitable and have a good knowledge about Italian wines. Can't wait to visit Sydney and dine here again! ♡♡♡

Called in for a impromptu late lunch on a Sunday. Was impressed with the menu and decided to share half a dozen plates and every one of those was delicious. Services was spot. The owner took time out to come and have a chat with us and shout us a liqueur at the end of the night. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a lovely Italian meal with friendly staff. -Tony (the Fruiterer)

OMG! One of the best Italian food. Fabulous woodfired pizza, pastas and my most favourite oysters, plus wine! Dined here with my best friend last year before lockdown and had the most amazing experience. The food was so delicious that we are keep going back with such a little excuses !! Michele is such a great host , friendly and his crew has it all sorted . Very kind and great service indeed . Highly recommended. 🤩🥳

Delicious Italian food with a great restaurant ambience! Oysters with the vodka granita & the squid ink pasta were the highlights of the menu. Would definitely recommend bringing family and friends here.

Great service, freshly made pasta, I had the fazzaletti with banana prawns, shellfish butter and shallots. While my partner had the ravioli with butternut pumpkin, burnt butter and sage. Both are tasty examples of Italian food cooked with care in a busy kitchen. We started with roasted cauliflower florets on a bed of whipped feta, pine nuts and currants. A tasty way to settle in to a refreshing dinner. Teamed with a bottle of Vermentino from Sardagna, it was well worth the trip. Next time I’ll try one of the wood fired pizzas. A true Norton street restaurant.

What a FIND! We happened to be in Leichhardt to drop a child back home after a play date on the North Shore and decided to have dinner in the famous Leichhardt Italian precinct. Firstly, the pasta is probably the best I have tasted outside Italy. The sauces divine. Absolutely amazing menu - if only I could have fitted in more! This is way way better food than many CBD Italian restaurants. The squid ink pasta with crab and chilli and the banana prawn pasta were our picks that night. The decor is very Osteria - but the ambience, the welcome from the owner and the team in the kitchen made it a lovely experience. We will be back.

Cute little place. Had lunch here after a cousin’s wedding with partner. Staff were very kind and attentive, food was delicious. Everything was nice! I’d recommend the fettuccine, it was probably the most favourite dish that day!

Incredibly delicious dishes. The woodfire pizza was perfectly cooked with a delicious homemade sauce and fresh toppings. The pumpkin ravioli with hazelnut had excellent complimenting flavours and textures. Not forgetting the focaccia bread and oil which we devoured in a few seconds! Also, I am not much of an alcoholic drinker but their 'Italian Mojito' was so refreshing with their fresh herbs and lime that I ordered two. Lastly, the ambience was nice with the cute feature of their plates having their restaurant logo. Will definitely be back!

I love their Black Angus beef sirloin with grilled bullhorn pepper and bagna cauda. The restaurant is well lit and they offer outside dining as well. The service is awesome! I will definitely come back with friends.

Great Italian restaurant with a mean woodfire pizza to match. Came here after a long day and was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of food. Ordered the crab squid ink noodles, pawn pizza and white chocolate tiramisu. The flavours were amazing and definitely recommend the pizza. The tiramisu was a miss for me as couldn't taste the coffee flavour at all as the white chocolate overpowered it. I do recommend trying this place when in the region.

Great Woodfired pizza and handmade pasta!!! We had the Salciccia pizza and it was a real standout, I cannot recommend it enough! The pasta was handmade and fresh, you can taste the difference. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come again.

I was recommended to try this place by a friend and it didn't disappoint. One thing that stood out here was the little things for eg they used perfectly ripe tomatoes in the burrata salad and the zucchini flowers had a pesto drizzle which was so good and the house made focaccia was baked that day. For pasta we had the fetticune lamb ragu and eggplant/ricotta ravioli, the pasta was perfectly cooked and flavours were bang on. The bill came to $110 for 3 sides and 2 mains (no alcohol) which was really reasonable for Italian of this quality.

Fantastic time at Capriccio Osteria as usual! We came tonight for the amex dine out, mystery menu - divine Started with foccacia, octopus and brussel sprouts, moving on to smoked salmon then a gorgeous scallop pasta, finishing w a semolina cheesecake. Absolutely delicious.

The whole vibe to this place is splendid. The service is fantastic, and best of all the food is incredible and authentic. The limoncello pasta hit on another level and the fungi pizza was phenomenal. Loved it all keen to go back and try so more 😍

Quality italian cuisine however nothing special that would bring me back. The beef carpaccio was over seared and the crab pasta lacked flavour. Diavola pizza was average. Beef pasta pretty standard.

Food was nice, service was good. Pizza was a little too salty and entrees a little high. The house wine was OK, even though the waiter didn’t know what it was, have had dinner here twice now and service was attentive.
