The Coachhouse was impressively located by the sea. Great for whale spotting and watching the waves roll in. Clean with all facilities to make for a home away from home. Good communication and great support. I would definately stay there again when in Narrabeen.

Just returned from our second stay at Coach house! We stayed in a different unit this stay which was a little smaller, yet very comfortable. They pay attention to details and provide all of the comforts of home. Our daughter lives a few blocks away so the location is perfect, the yard is a wonderful asset and we loved looking out over the water. Saw some whales in the distance! Highly recommend this location if you are looking for a clean and comfortable stay with easy access to bus lines, restaurants and shops!

Perfection. We just arrived home after a last minute stay with our three young boys. The place was amazing! The beach is right there and the hosts were nothing but delightful. We were there to look for places to live permanently so will definitely be recommending the property to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing stay!

What a terrific place. There are 10 small apartments in the Coachhouse, so you will find a size and aspect to suit you. Huge lawned backyard that drops straight onto the beach. And Robert, the owner takes a personal interest to be sure you will be well looked after. Just go ahead and book.

Million dollar views combined with 5 * service... What more could a girl ask for??? . We stayed for 3 nights at the coachhouse and it was the most relaxing break I can remember having. I only hope next time I can stay longer. Thanks guys for a wonderful place and your warm hospitality.

The penthouse is bright and well equipped for our family of 6. Nothing like falling asleep or waking up to the sound of waves crashing! The coachhouse is reasonably priced so that a weekend or week away won’t break the bank. Our host , Robert, was easily contactable and extremely accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

It's refurbished 1985 building. We are lucky enough to get the top apartment it's a few flights of stairs but the view was worth it. Rob the owner met us on arrival and couldn't have been more accomodating. We are in the roof top apartment which actually is in the roof cavity though is wonderfully furnished and meets all of our needs. Just love the place.

Great family holiday kids said it was the best mum and dad agree.. Clean. Relaxing and owner Robert was very welcoming and friendly. This is a great place to dream in front of the sea. The house is like yours and the garden is enough big for all people. You could choose to seat and look at the ocean and surfers it's like like a movie. You could seat and drink a tea with a good book ....the safe guards are just down the house so nothing bad can't happen. And if you prefer the rockpool you can walk until Collaroy rockpool or take a bus to the North Narrabeen rockpool the best one. Robert is very nice and Candice as well. I love this place and the beach down the house. If you want to go to Sydney or Palm beach you have the bus at one minute from the house. What else Try.

Nice place front the beach

This place has everything we needed for a great stay. The location directly by the beach was a real luxury for us, even in the middle of winter. We cooked ourselves dinner in the apartment a couple of nights, as well as eating out locally some nights. There was a generous welcome pack of snacks and plenty of towels, soap etc. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location with great facilities. Clean and tidy. Conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again!

Just want to say how magnificent our stay was at Coachhouse. Spent 4 beautiful days here in June 2017 in the Penthouse, and couldn't have been more impressed. As seasoned travellers with lots of experience travelling the world and staying in all types of accommodation, this would have to be the best of them of all. Everything we needed was provided for, and we were very impressed with the attention to detail in providing the littlest of things to make our stay more comfortable and welcoming. From a food hamper to cater for a few meals during our stay- soups, cereals, snacks, a fine collection of different teas and even a decent size carton of milk in the fridge- to a lovely bottle of champagne, chilling on arrival- nothing was missed ! The owners have thought of everything and with all sincerity, you do an amazing job making your guests feel at home. The bedrooms were immaculately presented as is the whole penthouse, we had 4 very excited children aged 7-17 who were very excited to be staying in such a gorgeous room. They loved the nautical theme! The main bedroom was simply stunning, we had the best sleeps on THE most comfortable king size bed ever! Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean was magical. In awe of the beautiful view from the lounge/kitchen area. You had sweeping views of the beach sitting on the comfy couch which just made more special, with that bottle of champagne so thoughtfully provided. Communication was excellent. Very impressed by that. Thank you Robert for keeping in touch beforehand and providing us with all the information needed to make our check-in and stay as smooth as possible. Thanks also to Candice who helped us settle in comfortably on arrival. You're both lovely and approachable. It is most refreshing to be greeted by warm and sincere people. As this was a special stay for us all-we had a family event to attend in Narrabeen- it was made even more memorable to have had the opportunity to stay somewhere so beautiful . It was a great experience. Location wise it's bang right on the beach, you cannot get any closer. At the same time it's right next to the main road. So finding it and driving was easy with plenty parking around and bus at your door step if you're using public transport. The place itself is a mixture of old and new with a bit of history. Apparently it used to be an old pub and inn. It has been divided and renovated to create very nicely appointed individual self contained units, each with a veranda enclosed in white fence and a grassy outdoor where you can sit on outdoor chairs, dining tables and watch the go by and your kids play on the beach. On top of that the volunteer life guards and the safe swim spot between the flags are right there next to the coach house. The water itself was warm helped by an east facing beach for a sunshiny morning swim. Waking up to that sunrise visible from your bed is such a luxury. And since the sun sets on the other side of the house, the backyard provides a cool haven from afternoon to dusk. Two outdoor showers and the thoughtfully provided plastic tubs for your wet things ensure you don't have to leave a wet trail of sand into the house. There's everything you need in the kitchen and other mod coms- brand new ref, dish washer etc. If you dont like to cook, the place is handy to local cafes and restaurants. Westfield Warringah is a few minutes drive away. The locals are friendly and the owner especially took the time to say hello! Truly a very wonderful weekend for us. Highly recommended!

This was a beautiful place to stay, right on the beach. The apartment was wonderful, spacious with good sized rooms and a lovely kitchen/dining facing the ocean. Great surfing just a few steps away. Public transport right out the front. Great for a family beach holiday or romantic getaway. Lovely friendly hosts.

STOP! Look no further. There are a number of apartments here in varied sizes. My stay was in number 8. The view is amazing. Robert is by far the best host I’ve met. The apartments are all beautifully finished. The kitchen we had was excellently stocked with the necessary utensils, cookware and crockery. Everything about these apartments are incredibly comfortable. The home time blues at leaving were unbearable. I can’t wait to get back there again.

Great location. No Road noise in the apartment we were in, just the sounds of the ocean. Nice old building that the owners are obviously trying to keep nice. Very friendly proprietor.

Lovely modern unit and very clean with ocean view. . Small private courtyard, but the use of large lawn and picnic tables overlooking the sea a real bonus. Friendly welcoming owners.

Fantastic location right on the beach and next to bus stop. Beautiful view from our apartment. Had great feel and well appointed kitchen. Kids Loved having the lounge adjoined to their room with Netflix. We lived in the kitchen and our bedroom with beach front views. Bathroom very small but adequate. Would go back for sure

We spent 3 nights at the coachouse and had a lovely experience. The apartment was very clean and cosy and the sound of the ocean was very soothing. Our host was amazing and gave us great restaurant recommendations as well as things to do in the area. The bathroom was very small but overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 8 nights in March ‘23 and had the best family holiday. Our stay made all the more enjoyable thanks to the effort and local knowledge of our hosts. We’ll be back.

Lovely to fall asleep with the sound of the ocean right outside your window. Very convenient position if you don't have a car but upstairs apartments might be a bit troublesome for older or less mobile people. Nice touches in the apartment from the host.

Coachhouse was absolutely phenomenal. This was the accommodation we chose for our wedding celebrations; we stayed there with our bridal party the night before the wedding and my bridesmaids and I got ready in the larger apartment the morning of. The location is absolutely superb, footsteps to the beach. The amenities are wonderful - we especially enjoyed the snack hampers! The views are wonderful and all correspondence with Robert was professional and full of genuine care. A highly recommended destination on the Northern Beaches!

The apartment was very clean and they had provided fresh linen. A well thought out combination was given in the pantry. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view. One of the rooms had a window we could not close properly. Hence due to it being cold and windy on the days we booked, the nights had a bit of disturbance. Overall it was a nice apartment and we would recommend it to friends.

What a great little apartment! Right on the beach and views from our rooms. It was a great 7 night getaway. With Manly to the south and Palm Beach up north, this apartment was in the middle of them both. Affordable, had everything we needed and the service was great. The apartments are in a great location for our holiday and right on the beach (without breaking the bank). There are apartments of different sizes for the number of guests. Quaint style and decor than you can really relax in. The accomodation has all that you need - every aspect of information supplied and if not, questions promptly answered. Will definitely book again, and highly recommend.

We had our son's wedding at Long Reef Golf Club which was a 5 minute drive from the Coachhouse so was a perfect location, the groom and is groomsmen all dressed for the wedding and the apartment was a fantastic place to prepare for the big day, Robert was a fantastic host and the views of the ocean were beautiful, we would definitely stay again.

My mum and her sister utterly enjoyed staying in apartment 1. It has 2 spacious bedrooms and a cozy and homely kitchen, dining, living area. Very clean and welcoming with lovely, beachy decor. The welcoming basket was really appreciated too thank you and my mum already told me that I can book her into the Coachhouse on her next visit :) They loved having the outdoor space to sit and and chill and access to the garden area. They felt safe and happy and had transport straight outside the house for their daily trips. The communication with Robert was quick and easy, thank you so much for having them, they left sad, but very relaxed and recharged.

We found our apartment to be immaculately clean and for an older building the interior had been recently renovated so was lovely and new. The welcome pack of goodies was above and beyond. The location of course was the highlight. We look forward to staying again. Thank you!

We had a fantasic stay, location couldn't have been more perfect! The room was clean, spacious and well thought out. As we arrived very late on a international flight, the care package left in the room was perfect to wake up to for morning coffee and breakfast. Back garden was million dollar views and a great place to hang out. Definately will be back!

Coachhouse on the beach is in a superb location on South Narrabeen Beach. It is in easy walking distance to both Collaroy and Narrabeen shopping centers, restaurants and drinking holes. The rooms are all air-conditioned and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The large beach front yard provides an ideal location to relax for a day in the sun, take in the breathtaking sun and moon rise, or lazy lunch or dinner over looking the water. The Coachhouse has 12 rooms of varying size, number of bedrooms rooms, and price. Communication with the owner Robert, both prior to check in and during our stay was fabulous. Robert responded to our emails and phone calls immediately. I would highly recommend a short or long stay at the Coachhouse.

We are a family of five, from Canada and this was our first time to Australia. We chose The Coach House because of its fabulous location, and the photo from the top floor is exactly what we dreamed about waking up to. When we emailed the host with some questions, he arranged a time to call us and gave us so much helpful information. From there everything lived up to our expectations. The condo felt authentic and beachy, the beds were all so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the gift basket / wine was a real treat. Robert helped us out every time our paths crossed and we definitely appreciated all his suggestions. Thank you for everything. Our honest advice is to book this if it’s available, you won’t be disappointed with this place.

Awesome place to stay. Legit right on the beach as advertised. The property managers were so incredibly helpful with everything I asked. Public transport picked up and dropped off right at the corner. Mattress was fantastic and made the trip so much better because we got good sleep! Totally recommend this place to stay!

Really awesome view. We stayed at apartment 8 which had an elevated view of the ocean. The beach is so close you can almost touch it when you open the windows from your rooms. Clean rooms. Small shower/toilet but we don’t mind given how close it is to the beach. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need - just need sharper peeler/knives and pasta strainer - very small things. The welcome basket with champagne is a nice touch, thank you!. The communal garden is awesome to watch the sunrise/sunset - we would bring breakfast/lunch and enjoy the ocean views while eating. Theres some play toys for the kids as well, which is awesome because we forgot to bring ours. Have posted on social media and friends are already asking where the place is! We will definitely be back. In fact, can’t wait to go back. Can’t get any better location than this!

The location was so amazing! Woke up to see a pod of dolphins swimming past my window! The beds were so comfy and even managed a surf straight out the back. The place had absolutely everything we needed and communication was excellent. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

The location is ideal. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Sitting in the backyard overlooking the beach is delightful. The backyard was so much bigger than I anticipated and there is a large amount of seats to soak in the beautiful views. The units are very well appointed and have everything you need. The supply of grocery essentials plus more, was a wonderful surprise. We will absolutely be back and can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough. It is a one of a kind with extremely good pricing.

This place has everything. The perfect beachside location, amazing views fully appointed modern appartments that have been tastefully decorated. A few steps away from the South Narrabeen patrolled beach and you can also be spoilt and use Coachhouse green and lush garden area with lounge chairs overlooking everything. There is a beach cafe nice and close by and shops are also so just up the road. We stayed in the Ocean vista 2 Bed apartment and it had 24/7 views. Just an amazing place. Thats why we came again and will definitely return. Thanks Narrabeen Coachhouse for providing us with the perfect break.

Very accommodating people. We really enjoyed our stay at the coachhouse and the boys absolutely loved being right near the beach. For a family of 5 though a little more space would be awesome but, all in all we had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Apt 3 at the coach house. The rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy. Our children loved playing in the spacious yard that looks right on to the ocean. The beach flags were about 20m from our doorstep. I found it mesmerising listening to the crashing waves as we drifted off to sleep at night. Having foxtel and Netflix is really nice too. Great communication from the owners. We will most certainly be back again!

We had a wonderful time at the Coachhouse in January 2019, so much so that we returned in February 2019 (and cancelled a previous booking at a nearby hotel). The beauty of the Coachhouse is large garden and wonderful location right on the beach. We were a large family group in apartments 3 & 4 on the ground floor, which both provide garden access right out of your door. We returned to the Penthouse apartment (Apt 11) which is more private with fantastic views of the waves breaking onto the beach. The owner (Robert) was keen to ensure that we had everything we needed and is clearly passionate about this unique property. No-one is claiming that this is 5-Star, but it is beautifully maintained and ideal for a break on the beach at beautiful Narrabeen, providing easy access (by car & bus) to Sydney.

Location, location, location is what this property is all about. We were a family of 9 plus a baby and had a couple of downstairs apartments, which were clean and well equipped, but the bonus is the outside space, looking onto the beach - ideal for BBQS and family gathering. My family and I enjoyed a fantastic week in apartment 6. Amazing views and you really couldn't get closer to the beach. Spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you could ever want. Having 2 kids swimming daily, I especially appreciated the washer and dryer located in the apartment. Being mid winter and an older building, I was concerned the place might be cold, however re-verse cycle heaters throughout the apartment made it a lovely cosy place to return home to after a day out. There are 2 TV's which was wonderful for both kids and adults. Being from a quiet rural location we did find the traffic noise in the front bedroom significant to our ears - however, those from more suburban or City areas would likely not find it as noticeable. Efforts have been made to dull the noise with installation of double glazing which helps but, alas, traffic noise is just part of the deal if you want to be beach side on the Northern Beaches. Finding unrestricted parking at the end of the day was also difficult at times but again, this is the nature of staying beach side. Just factor in time (and energy) to locate parking each day to avoid frustration. Rob was a wonderful host and provided helpful information on our arrival. Contact was great both prior and during our stay. We would definitely visit again! Thanks Rob and Dan for letting us enjoy your place!!

Idyllic bliss. Over New Year 2018, we stayed in Apartment 4 for the second time. Whilst the first visit was very enjoyable, the management had improved so many things. In essence, there are two double bedrooms with large, very comfortable double beds. The bathroom is a nice size and very serviceable complete with washing machine. Ample storage facilities. A lounge/diner c/w air conditioning unit, TV, WiFi and Foxtel. Very comfortable seating making it a real home from home. The kitchen is well appointed c/w dishwasher and the Management had supplied a few welcoming gifts including Verve champagne, pack of 6 beers, bottle of white wine and a casket full of breakfast goodies. Made us all feel very welcome. Leading out of the lounge into a very pretty fenced garden c/w table and chairs and seating within the verandah. The main lawn sited between the Coachhouse and the sea, is again, very inviting and private to all residents. There is plenty of seating and tables and benches and a BBQ at your disposal. A shower on the lawn completes the facilities as a means to wash down after a visit to the beach/sea. The lawned area itself is a good size now and always was in the past until a massive storm around 6 years ago washed away most of it to the base of the two mature Pine trees and the shower. The Management invested thousands of dollars importing rocks to the site, and laid under the supervision of Dutch Engineers. Not only does this reinstatement create a superb defence to the ravages of the sea, it also so enhances the property itself for all those who have the good fortune to stay there. Whether in the house or the garden, the views of the beach and the sea entice one to be there, completing what can only be described as your very private piece of paradise. Do not take my word for it, go yourself, you will not be disappointed !!!

What a lovely quaint little unit, it's clean and smells lovely and fresh. Fully self contained... right on the beach just walk out your door and past your own little garden patio. Just wonderfully relaxing.

We had a great stay at the Coachhouse. Originally booking a stay for a week, we ended up extending for another week and a half due to it being so handy to everything. The ocean views, the chairs perched right by the sand and the wonderful service we received were why we would definitely stay again.

FANTASTIC! The accommodation is set in the most ideal location! You can spend hours just by looking at the waves and listening to the sound of the waves all day and night! The apartment itself, although small, it was very charming, nicely decorated and contained all items needed. We particularly loved the box of goodies, which was unexpected! Highly recommend it !

I stayed a month at the coachhouse in February, as a Sydney sider who lives in Hong Kong - who decided to stay on in Australia on the Northern beaches due to avoid COVID restrictions in HK. Doing a global role in Sydney meant late night work calls , during the day a beach walk/ swim made up for the late nights. This was a great stay & the places are well appointed & clean. The location is great right on the beach (although part of the beach area under repair post severe storms). The garden area is wonderful to enjoy the views and ambience. Robert is very helpful and responsive - I really enjoyed my stay

With this world becoming so ‘automated’ the personal touch you added meant a lot to all of us. The apartment so clean, perfect use of space with its beautiful crazy corners and so nicely decorated, our only hesitance in so highly recommending your apartments is that selfishly, we will want to stay again and don’t want you so heavily booked that we cannot!
