Simply amazing! American barbecue meat with fresh salad on a roll, food quality is top and the staff is super friendly. Various choices of protein including chicken, beef, pork or Tofu for vegetarians. During lunchtime could be up to 10-15mins wait in the queue but definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favour and grab a bite from here. I had the Bad Boy wrap, it was delicious, so full of flavour and great value. They have great combos all ready to go on the menu, but awesome knowing you can modify along the way for that personal touch. Really nice vibe as well, where staff and owners are super nice, cheerful and friendly. Bonus with seating to relaxing out the front if you wish. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

Marlies's is the perfect example of a restaurant that Defies the odd; you don't need a fancy brick and motor restaurant or located in the downtown's heart. When you put together a great menu/dish and understand customer service, You have a great little (Marlies) restaurant with repeating customers. My favorite place in North Sydney for lunch Quality and Flavor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 Customer service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prices: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 Pro: Custom services and Fresh Con: Above-average wait during lunch hours / some occasions the BBQ-ed meats can be a bit too sweet for me. Pullman wraps and rolls are my go-to. Got to try the salads... Thank you for putting out some 'great kick in the face.'

Ordered the Big Joe. The photo of my wrap may not look like much but boy was it delicious. The smells that emanate from Marlies and the queue during lunch says enough. Well worth the wait. Great price, friendly service and just absolutely yum!

When i arrived i was a bit confused about what to order. So, first choose your base (rice, roll, or wrap) than you choose one of the fillings from their menu. I got the Bad Boy in a roll. The prices on Google are not correct atm. Rolls and wraps are $13.9 for chicken or veggie and $15.9 for pork or beef. Bowls (rice base) are $17.9 and $19.9. The place and the service were really good. Regarding the food, the meat is definitely the highlight. The roll itself and all the other ingredients were pretty standard, but the meat was delicious.

I think I am more than qualified to review this place having lived in Texas and worked for a boss who made the best brisket ever. This place is legit and left me salivating for more! I ordered the brisket on a bed of white rice loaded with all the veggies and herbs. This is hands down the best thing I've eaten in Sydney on my lunch hour. I'll be back for sure!

It's no wonder the line to eat here is so huge. The food here is insanely delicious, I've never had anything even remotely like it. The team are also incredibly friendly and want to make sure everyone leaves with a huge smile on their face. These guys are on to something. Please open up more stores!!

Was recommended this place and would probably go back for the other items on the menu. The wrap tasted pretty solid and I may consider opting for a bowl next time too. The customer service is friendly and despite the queue, it does move relatively fast.

Came here for the first-time last week and had the beef brisket bowl, I liked it so much that had to come back the next day to try another bowl. This time was the pulled pork and all I can say both are delicious. My new favorite place to eat in North Sydney.

Went in for a quick mid week lunch. There is always a long queue - worth the wait though for the excellent/original American and Asian mash up food and cheerful staff. You can't just go once! Highly recommended

So good!! No wonder why they always have a long queue! All vegetables are fresh and great portion. Open wrap can be hard to eat but I enjoyed it. If you want to avoid the line, it better go before 11.30am. Best lunch in North Sydney business area!!

Absolutely delicious slow cooked meats with your choice of salads etc. Loved the flavours in my wrap with Texas bbq. Does get super busy at lunch time so worthwhile getting there close to 12. Staff are super friendly & also quick. Highly rate!

This place is consistently awesome. If you go during the lunchtime rush, expect to queue but it is most definitely worth the wait! First time here? Grab a yard bird on a wrap. You don’t regret it!

Great food, friendly helpful staff and great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Seasonal specials are a must try! Only a short walk from Nth Sydney station. Can't wait to get there again😍

Absolutely love it! A flavour explosion everytime! Every option tastes awesome! Always love getting the "kick in the face" (even though I sometimes regret it after) Gets busy at peak lunch times, so get in early! Will def be grabbing a bite whenever I am around!

Amazing tasting American style meats with a spin on it. I love the "Pullman" taco wrap as it has salads and some of the best pulled pork I've ever tasted. I can't stop coming back here. There is a reason the lines are so long for this place 10/10.

They serve perfect fusion of Asian and American food. The concept is similar to subway. You can choose your choice of carb and protein. Also, you get to pick the veggies. If you like spicy food, then surely get kick in the face added to your meal (it's free).
