I had a round trip from Kolkata to Gopalpur and Daringbadi and this place was the worst experience I had during this trip. the room was charged quite high as we paid more than 4000 rupees for each room but when we reached the hotel we found the rooms were extremely small. we booked the room for two adults and a child but it was only having a queen size bed with no space left in the room. one of my friend travelled with me and it was bit unplanned and that's why I requested the hotel to arrange an extra bed but their initial response was very rude and harsh. they denied completely and only agreed when I got rude myself and I force them to make the arrangement. after that they started asking for the ID for our children which was so unusual that we never bothered to carry children ID card and when I responded that we do not have the ID card for children he again rudely said that they cannot allow us to stay in the hotel if the children ID card is not provided. During the round trip through the state we stayed in multiple places in Orissa but this was the only place where such kind of behaviour was seen. I verified the same need with another local hotel and they clearly said children ID is not reo. there was no arrangement for flooding. however the service staff were good and helpful and the room quality was good and of course the location is right on the beach side but I would never recommend this place because of the value for money.

It’s was a nice stay to me. Found a second home to staying here. We spend our 28th anniversary in this hotel. Situated very near to main sera beach. Conversation with Ritesh through WhatsApp was too smooth for book this room. The hotel is Well secure and familiar too. Room is very cozy, maximum two person are able to accommodate,Super clean room and nice bathroom. Room rent is little higher side for Gopalpur but it will not cut a big hole to your pocket. Kedar and other caretaker take all care which you need. There were no in house restaurant but they provide limited menu at your doorstep. You may also try lagoon grill restaurant just opposto this hotel. Have a little dining place also. The sera view from terrace is absolutely amazing. One can access all kinds of vehicle’s in front of this hotel. Recommend ! 5 ⭐️ . Will check again.

Its a cute little villa right on the gopalpur sea beach. Watch the sunrise over the sea right from the window of your rooms. It has 3 well equipped rooms to relax ,a breakfast kitchen, a cozy dining space, a lounge terrace from where feel the fresh sea breeze or just sit and watch the waves hitting the shore and the best part an open shower under a papaya tree in a vintage courtyard. Overall a perfect weekend getaway for a group of six although you can also book individual rooms.

We had a very pleasant stay at Seamerrid, a small cozy hotel in Gopalpur. Except for an aquaguard it has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the manager and the caretaker are very cordial and helpful. The location is excellent, very near the beach. You walk out of the main door and you have the sea to greet you. Though there's no inhouse kitchen but they can arrange food for the guests. The terrace with the view is an added attraction. Must mention Rishit, the owner. I've been communicating with him on WhatsApp and phone for quite some time. We had a number of changes in our plans number of times. I'm really thankful to Rishit, how patiently and sweetly he accommodated all our changes in the schedule and all our demands. He even arranged cars for our trips to other destinations. Any query, any problem, Rishit was always there to help. If I go to Gopalpur again I'll definitely be staying at Seamerrid!

His attention to detail and keenness to go above and beyond the call of duty is what makes the entire experience as fluid and flawless as is humanly possible. He will make sure you’re adequately comfortable with what’s promised before you embark on discovering the same for yourself. And his efficient handling of all aspects of the operations, even from a distance, is nothing short of legendary. The property itself is enviably located right across the beach and possesses multiple vantage points from where to truly soak in the sights and sounds. The rooms are tastefully done up ensuring functional ease wherever possible. Many thoughtful facets are evident as one begins to unravel the property and the courtyard shower is one such offering. Special mention should be made of the equipped terrace that provides a wonderful open air experience. The only drawback is that they don’t possess a functional kitchen but this is adequately compensated by a fairly comprehensive outsourced menu. The staff at the property is clued in to what is necessary to keep the property well maintained and the guests well looked after. It must be highlighted that the property provides the best possible experience when booked in entirety to be able to truly enjoy the privacy and freedom that’s so rare these days. Finally, the property offers a very efficient pick up and drop off service and it’s worth paying for the same to ensure that the superlative service commences as soon as possible.

If you are travelling in group you can book the entire 3 bedroom property and enjoy private beach villa vacation.

Its a beatiful little villa right on the gopalpur sea beach. Amazingly neat and clean with 3 well equipped rooms. The resort is just on the sea beach with a beautiuful lounge and a terrace. I had the opportunity to share the cute resort with the proprietor of the resort, Debashis babu and his family. He is a thorough genmtleman and fascinated by the warmth the family offered. The stay was really memorable and enjoyable in the comapny of the family. I would love to visit Gopalpur again and particularly the little cute resort.

No water in the wash room,the morning when we were checking out. Geyser didnt work. No restaurant inside the premise to dine in. Rooms are unfortunately planned. Door of My room was right next to the reception counter. Complained the manager and the manager suggested to raise the complaint to higher levels as these complaints are made by most of the users and the owner is indifferent. But if need be, you will get hot water with bucket while using the wash room 😃..
