Great view of the ancient city. To climb to the top you will be charged €5 for the privilege, but there is a lift (installed in the 1960’s) which makes light work of the experience. You will have to climb the last flight to reach the top. But it’s well work it on a good day for the view. Ground floor houses a museum of geomorphological base which is free to peruse. Good information is provided regarding the 24 hectare Bergamo City dating back to the Roman times.

Mysterious place with comprehensive 360 view of the old Bergamo. I was staying on the top of the tower under the bell looking to the different sides of the town. Each side is very different but connected with each other via ages and wonderful architecture.

5€ for visiting tower and museum. Museum is only name of it but you could use wc for free there. Tower is good for viewing to Basilica and some roofs.

Great tower with stunning views. For 5€ entrance you can also visit the museum there. The elevator is there so you do not have to go around 200 steps up there so it's easily accessible for children, older people or wheelchair. Place is definitely worth it.

It’s a must to go in the tower if you are in Bergamo. Cost 5€. You can also visit the museum and the roman ruins in the same ticket price.

Interesting and very unique piece of architecture in the center of the old walled city.

The Palazzo della Regione was the seat of government, and today houses a selection of paintings from the Accademia Carrara. It is an ancient building from the 12th century, rebuilt in the 16th century.

Nice view and a small attached museum was interesting. I upgraded the rating to 5 just because the bell rang when we were up there and it sounded like a thunder. So watch out your time when up there. Hearing the bell just underneath was a unique, unexpected surprising experience. (And there is an elevator+a bit of a narrow stairway)

I went when the museum opened and there was a queue of 2 people, it was very fast, not even 5 min. Staff were polite and helpful. However, after midday it was pretty crowded so maybe there are longer queues. Download the application for the museum, it’s for free and there are audios in 5 languages.

Lovely view from the top. We timed the visit around the bell ringing and it was perfect. Very loud and beautiful to be there when it rings.

You get a nice view over the city from the top. If you plan on walking to Castello Di San Vigilio as well, the view from the tower is less spectacular and maybe unnecessary. There is a museum attached to the tower (different entry card is needed) but the information in there is only given in Italian. If you don't speak Italian, I wouldn't pay for it.

A small lift will take you up the tower and will reveal stunning views of Bergamo’s old city.

Best view over Bergamo, especially Cita Alta. There is an elevator, no crowd, not expensive.
