"Doodvazan Waterfall" is located 24 km away from "Shaft" city of Gilan province and in the mountainous and summer region of Siahmazgi. This city is limited to Rasht city from the northeast, Zanjan province and Rudbar city from the south and southeast, Fooman city and Soomehsara city from the west. Dense forest cover, water springs, roaring river and cool climate has made this waterfall to be named as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Gilan. The water of Doodvazan waterfall is supplied from Doodvazan spring and then it irrigates the lands of the downstream village. No detailed research has been done on the height of this waterfall; But its height is estimated at 54 meters. The location of this waterfall among a lot of forest textures can be considered another reason for its beauty. As you cross the main shaft roads to reach the waterfall, new natural sights and beauties begin, and the further you go, the more beauty is in front of your eyes. Along the way to the waterfall, the roaring sound of the river coming from the waterfall will play a magical music for you. Passing through the cobblestone path and its steps, it indicates the entrance to the depths of the valley that houses the waterfall. Locals make money this season; Baking cocoa, walnut bread and selling sour plums and smoothies and the aroma of local tea brewed on hot coals will delight every traveler. One of the interesting parts of the waterfall area is the existence of a wooden bridge that allows you to cross the river. You can stand on this bridge and enjoy watching the waterfall with a different view. Spring and summer are the best times to visit Doodovazan waterFall; Because this region is mountainous, it always has a cool and almost cold climate. Of course, this region has its own beauties in autumn and watching its colorful effect is not without grace; But in winter, travel conditions become a bit difficult due to frost and snowfall. Until a few years ago, there was no asphalt road after the bridge, and nature lovers walked on dirt roads and steep mountain curves. About 10 years ago, the path to the waterfall was paved to make it easier to reach; However, creating proper access roads has been a disaster for nature. Regarding the access route to the waterfall, it can be said that this place is not suitable for people with physical disabilities, the elderly and people with mobility limitations.

I went there in a rainy day and it was great already but I think you can find it a better in a more normal weather. You will have around 5 min walking from the place that you can park your car to reach the waterfall and good news is that most part of this way is stone pavement. Local people sell some local food and crafts and there are some places below waterfall which serve tea and food. If you be lucky you can find crabs around waterfall.
