Travelling ahead from kund malir beach towards top is a very good experience. You ll find natural textures of muddy mountains in platted shapes, the egyption pyramids, mud castles and princess of hope. A peaceful drive will lead to eye pleasing experience. Highly recommended for nature explorers and adventure lovers.

Princess of Hope, situated 12 miles from Kund Malir beach is a must visit site. Although there's no proper approach except the road sign, if you are young and can take the risk of climbing then you can go closer to it. The whole location gives you the sign of ancient civilization and surprisingly it hasn't been noticed by authorities.

Its Situated right on the Makran Coastal Highway. The Princess of Hope (Urdu امید کی شہزادی) is a natural rock formation in Pakistan of the type known as a hoodoo or "fairy chimney" and which could fancifully be construed (see mimetolith) as resembling a crowned and skirted female figure looking toward the horizon. It is situated approximately 190 km (120 mi) from the financial hub of Karachi, Pakistan and approximately 717 km (446 mi) from the provincial capital, Quetta. The curiously shaped rock pinnacle is located in the Hingol National Park in the Lasbela District of the province of Balochistan, the mountainous landscape of which is riven with picturesque gorges and features unusual formations of mud and rock, shaped into their present forms by the forces of erosion. Lasbela District forms part of the coastal strip known as the Makran, which also takes in certain coastal regions of Iran. The formation was given the name Princess of Hope by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who visited Pakistan - including the Hingol National Park - in the year 2002 as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. The name (conceived by Jolie on the spot as a spontaneous, personal reaction to the form of the monolith) stuck, having evidently appealed to then-current local sensibilities. Not far from the "Princess" stands another natural rock formation of sphinx-like form, the so-called "Balochistan Sphinx" (known also as the "Lion of Balochistan" or Abul-Hol) which is visible from the Buzi Pass section of the Makran Coastal Highway

Princess of Hope, Named by Angelina Jolie on her visit to Balochistan to adopt a Kid. The best part about this Location is , it has been named as a Natural site, and as just formed in the shape of a princess and a sphinx ahead that. I personally feel, that a very old civilization used to live here, long long back, where the pics clearly show the walls of a castle, and the area where a guard will guard the entire PALACE. I would love to urge the World heritage site

Stopped over on the way to Ormara. Natural made structure most likely due to wind. Depends on your imagination, there are alot more structures than princess of hope. Dont litter, due to frequent stop by tourists, there are alot of plastic bottles lying around in the start. Hike to the actual statue is around 30 mins.

It's a beautiful place. Visible so clearly travelling on Coastal Highway about 20 km (approx) or so from Knd Mair. The whole area of Hangol National Park is so serene and amazing. There are countless shapes only imagination is the limit. every turn brings in something new something mesmerising. I travel frequently and this pace simply wowed me. As this time I was on a bike I felt the place so deeply. The climb to Buzi top is yet another treat. I strongly suggest a visit to this place.

Going specially for princess of hope was a bad idea. If you are travelling towards ormara then do visit it otherwise I personally think it's not that interesting. You will find it's replica far earlier.

Experience of this place was awesome 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 This place looks like a miracle and have unique structure. You must know there is no mobile network available there. You have to keep your fuel tanks full because filling stations are also rare at there. Princess of Hope was also world famous place and many celebrity also got visited this historical and unique place in the province of Baluchistan.

It's just a figment of own imagination, one side reflects a resemblance to a British princess or old shipman or lady carrying a baby.

princess of hope is located about 100m from coastal highway... you can get a great view from the highway... rains and air from sea has carved the shape on mud like mountain into this statue type after erosion of soil which is named princess of hope (name given by angelina jolie when she visited in 2002)... there is no shop here from food or water... better bring your supplies... this is not a place for picnic... just stop by for 10 mins have a few pictures and youre good to go..

On the beautiful road of Makran Coastal Highway in Balochistan, there is a statue located at a height which makes it difficult to climb up for some peoples. However, one can reach closer to it with the help of others

Had a good experience watching this. Its fascinating how naturally the rock mountains are carved in such designs and patterns. Specially princess of hope statue. It is also believed by some of the locals that supernatural beings live here and they have made these patterns.

The Princess of Hope is a natural rock formation that gained popularity due to its unique and striking appearance. The rock looks like the profile of a princess, and it has become a significant landmark and tourist attraction in the region. The name "Princess of Hope" reflects the local folklore and the imaginative interpretations of the rock's shape.

All the way through Lasbella range in Balochistan to Makran Range is mesmerizing. Lot of tourist sites are in the way like Kund Malir, Princess Hope, Bozi top, Bhagwan morr, and what not. Makran Coastal Highway is great to travel.

Very beautiful place. On the way to O'Mara Beach. A nice Pit stop asking the way. The mountains are very beautiful around this area. There's no food or any shop so make sure to keep drinks and snacks with you. Also do not litter there

This trip is regarding from Lahore to Balochistan. The most important thing is that there is no security issues for local as well as foreigner people. The places were very beautiful but the camping place have to improve. Specially the desert in passni balochistan , the beautifull golden beach in gwadar and the amazing track of buzy pass but managmenet is not good in time decision making and need to improve much more. All in one it was a nice trip and i suggest other people to visit in balocistan and promote tourism there.

Seems out of this world. Significant signs as though an entire civilisation have lived here. Never seen mountains shaped as castles, faces and other shapes! This place is hidden away in the middle of nowhere unexplored by archaeologists. A must see and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for something out this world

  • 5/5 Ematchkay 2 years ago on Google
Wonderful, that's all i have to say about the place, the green mountains of the north have their own charm but these brown mountains of the south are far much better as the craftsmanship of the nature truly comes out in the perfect form, if you have a creative mind you can see shapes in these mountains which may have been a part of a great civilization ( no evidence)

Amazing to see such natural beauty, craft by nature. Government has tried to improve the location by adding some sitting benches and dust bin in the area, also some sign boards. Interesting and very encouraging to see that local tourists are visiting these undiscovered natural places.
