I didn't satay at the hotel but visit for a wedding few days ago. Hotel is very beautiful, but couldn't enjoy all the facilities. Especially the garden is spacious enough but need to be maintained regularly. The Negative factors are the staffs and their services. Especially waiters are not much friendly and attentive to the service.

Hotel needs some refurbishing. Rooms spacious but lots of little faults such as doors not closing properly and fridge not working. Gardens very nice. Food not so good.

Everything is below average in this hotel (food, staff, bathroom, infrastructure). The location and the infrastructure has so much potential, but I can understand that they could not invest much due to the lack of tourists during the COVID period. Positive point: we had a very big room.

A wonderful hotel at the Ratnaloka Tourist Hotel. It is a great place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel in Ratmalana. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are especially comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.

Not recommended this hotel for any of celebration(experienced with wedding) as their service is very poor. Foods are not tasty, not enough qualified staff to serve. Very poor management n not concern about customers' requirement.

ඔබගේ විවාහ උත්සවය/දෙවනි ගමන මෙම හොටලයේ ගැනීමෙන් වලකින්න. පහත කරුනු කියවා බලන්න(3500 rupees package). Please DO NOT plan you’re WEDDING/HOMECOMING in this hotel(3500 rupees package). Read the following comments. Rooms(No A/C and broken locks): Rooms are very poor. No A/C for some rooms and door lockers are broken on some rooms. Bathrooms are not clean and taps are malfunctioning. Bridal Dressing rooms: Poor lighting and no A/C. Cannot think make up a bride with such hot condition and cannot take good photographs on gloomy conditions. That room actually like a shed. Extremely Poor Service: The service is extremely poor. There were only 4 waiters to serve 150 people. Two were allocated in bar. Two people for other services. We ask for more waiters, waiters replied back saying that ‘please make complain because it is out of our control’. The people at bar tried to steal some liquor bottles. I have later identified that they have stolen more than 70% of cashew nuts. Asked waiters to provide Coca-Cola and Sprite for all the invites but seems they do not have done so. May be they do not have glasses or no waiters. Lunch buffer(Dahl curry and noodles for 3500LKR): For lunch buffet only eatable was noodles and dahl curry. Chicken and fish curry is good for cats and dogs. Wedding Hall: Wedding hall is an open area with no A/C. It became very hot when 150 people seated. There were only 4 some industrial standard fans but the does not swing. Wind blow only one direction. Poor Coordination: Seems there is no coordination with the person we have initially discussed (Miss Ranjai) with other people. When they doing seating arrangement day before the wedding day, we had to reminder what we had discussed with initial planning and call Ranjai and bla bla bla. They also tried to not to put seat covers saying that is beautiful of wooden finish tables and chairs for wedding hall. But we requested (Since then it is easy for them and no need to worry about washing table and chair covers) They do not provide ice-cubes for drinks. I have bought and give them some ice-cubes to give them kept in deep-freezer, and told them to use it when bar is open. But it is not provided until we asked again and again. Finally it took 30 minus to find our ice-cubes and bring them from deep-freezer to bar area. What is good on this hotel? Compared to above 99% badness no point of talking goodness. One good thing is at the end they asked me for some comment. But I do not give a comment for the hotel. They should identify these problems unless they are not mentally disorder. This f****ng hotel spoil our wedding. I wrote this comment in order to AVOID HAPPEN such thing for your wedding/homecoming.

I held my wedding party in here on 28th of November in 2019 and my experience was very much dissatisfied and disappointed except the quality of the food, such they were unable to provide promised facilities which are told us and stole our stuffs including wedding cakes and other foods. Also during the party they blocked the water supply to rooms and bathrooms till we informed to them. Never recomding to celebrate your imfortant events of your life.
