We
went
there
for
a
long
weekend
to
spend
two
nights.
The
team
as
well
as
the
owner
was
very
friendly
and
accommodating
to
adjust
as
per
our
crazy
requests.
The
arrangement
was
to
book
BB
basis
with
an
additional
BBQ
on
the
second
night
and
to
order
rest
of
the
meals
as
needed.Β
We
arrived
at
the
hotel
around
3
pm
after
a
late
breakfast
at
Galle.
The
place
is
easy
to
get
to
(google
might
make
the
journey
too
short
by
suggesting
a
slightly
difficult
route)
They
prepared
a
delicious
sea
food
fried
rice
in
just
about
half
hour
after
we
requested
for
lunch.
The
plans
for
BBQ
got
changed
last
minute
so
we
requested
the
BBQ
on
the
first
night
which
was
accepted
without
a
fuss.
Justice
was
served
to
the
giant
lake
prawns
and
the
'pork'
π.
Both
were
well
seasoned,
nicely
prepared
and
so
was
the
kottu
we
ordered
for
dinner.
The
rooms
were
spacious
with
an
open
shower
and
a
balcony
overlooking
the
Walawe
river.
There
are
no
other
buildings
in
the
visinity
so
it
feels
like
we're
away
from
the
city.
The
Sri
Lankan
breakfast
and
the
english
breakfast
we
got
for
the
two
days
we
spent
were
ok
although
it
was
not
the
greatest.
The
scrambled
eggs
were
better
than
expected
and
so
was
the
fruit
juice
served
with
it.
Spent
half
the
day
in
the
swimming
pool
which
was
placed
away
from
the
rooms
to
provide
the
best
privacy.
The
pool
is
sufficiently
maintained,
clean
and
of
good
size
too.
Second
night
we
had
the
fried
lake
fish
and
more
pork
for
bites
which
was
equally
delicious
and,
biriyani
for
dinner.
Biriyani
was
a
little
dry
for
our
expectations
but
the
chicken
was
good.
All
in
all
it
is
a
hidden
gem
which
we
will
surely
be
returning...
