Hidden gem in Udawalawe. Absolutely loved the stay there. The staff was really polite and helpful. The food was fantastic. Nice and calm place to wind down in country side. Rooms are cosy and spacious. Bathrooms are spacious. Totally worth for the money. Enjoyed the every moment. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and good food! Would definitely recommend! We stayed with a group of 4 adults and 1 child (almost 2 years old). Close to the national park, you can arrange a safari at the location.

We stayed in this place for 1 night only, and it was excellent. The room is spacious enough to have some daily routine, and the bed is comfortable. We also booked a safari tour with the help of the host for the fair price. The breakfasts included were generous and delicious, so was the dinner. Do not hesitate to take their dinners - they're fairly priced (rice and curry). The accommodation has a pool, we didn't use it, but it looked clean and pretty big.

Unexpected experience! For a cheap price you have a swimming pool a big room a very good and tasty diner. We had to leave very early for a safari and the take away breakfast was superb with traditional food! Awesome experience

Perfection. We found this gem by luck and without reservation. The host was a amazing and did everything to make our stay a breeze. Perfect/clean accommodations & pool (which was cleaned just for us). Due to early Safari trip, host brought us breakfast package (biscuits and bananas) and when returned prepared the best Srilanka breakfast we had on our trip. Would highly recommend to everyone :)

The best service in Sri Lanka. Dushan went above an beyond to make our stay amazing. From the moment we checked in, he sorted everything from our breakfast, dinner, safari and taxi to our next destination. Nothing was too much. Whenever he saw us even move our chair by the pool, he would run over to do it for us. We unfortunately came across some stray dogs that were in a very very poor condition on the streets whilst in Udawalawe and we wanted to try and help it. Dushan helped by calling local animal sanctuaries and even finding a local animal clinic for us. He offered to be available to speak to anyone over the phone to translate for us (his English is excellent). The hotel itself was lovely, very comfortable rooms, spotless and in the perfect location for the safari. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and breakfast was amazing too. I cannot recommend this place enough, just for Dushan's service alone.

Dushan, the host, was incredible from the outset and throughout. Check in was incredibly efficient and covered all the information we needed to know regarding our private safari, dinner, check out, costs, etc. Dushan even brought us homemade cake by the pool in the afternoon which was lovely! We had dinner there also which was a buffet selection of traditional Sri Lankan curries and rice, everything was very tasty. They also provided snacks during our early morning Safari and then greeted us with a traditional breakfast afterwards which was just as good as dinner. Whilst exploring Udawalawe, we unfortunately came across a few very poorly looking stray dogs on the side of the road. One of which needed veterinary help asap, we messaged Dushan and he called straight away explaining there is an animal clinic nearby and he will speak to the tuk tuk driver on route on our behalf. Unfortunately, we couldn't find this dog again however we really appreciated Dushan's immediate response at this time. The experience however has encouraged us to donate to animal rescue centres so they can hopefully expand to Udawalawe in the near future.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They helped make our stay enjoyable & arranged a safari for us. Served a great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Big clean rooms,even a little couch with a tv. Clean badroom with hot water and a good water pressure. Free toilleteries,tea or coffee in the room and a little refrigarator. A swimmingpool in a nice yard. A little terras where you can chill. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Near the Udawalawe national park and the owner can arrang a safari trip with a good jeep and the driver knows a lot about the animals. The elephant transit home is in walkdistance also. Enjoyed our stay here.

Awesome place to stay in Udawalawe. Feels very luxurious, the hosts are super nice and helpful. Dinner was also great, they made a vegetarian Rice & Curry which was the best one we had in Sri Lanka.

Spacious rooms kept as insect free as possible. Clean room and bathroom. The staff were very helpful, lovely and friendly. The food was very good, for breakfast and especially for dinner. We chose to have dinner there the second night as it was so tasty. They sorted out the safari driver for us who was also amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Great value for money property with good access the the national park. The Owner is very attentive and takes care of your needs. Food is well prepared and my daughter enjoyed the big pool.

Such a great little gem! The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. Rooms really clean with a comfortable bed. Great pool! We had both dinner (photo) and breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE.. I didn’t take a photo of the breakfast but it was fit for a queen! They totally worked around our schedule travel without any issues. Close to safari ! Highly recommend!! The owner was really nice and friendly. The room was clean, but just okay. I booked the room with breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately they order every meal at another place, they don't prepare it on their own. The food wasn't that good.

Proved to be a disappointment. Bathroom door wouldn’t lock when we arrived. That was followed by an unbearable stench of sewage in the bathroom that wouldn’t go away post cleaning. The last straw was flies on our food at breakfast (served in an Al fresco reception area). We checked out in a hurry. On a positive note, the safari was arranged very well and the driver was patient and knowledgeable and made an extra effort to locate & show us a wide variety of fauna.
