Best place to stay in Udawalawe!!! New private bungalows with modern amenities, great WiFi, comfy bed , hot shower! And best of all the kindness and unbelievable hospitality of the owner and his family! Did I mention the home cooked meals? Absolutely delicious and enough to feed a whole cricket team. Highly recommend it to everybody. Only 2 bungalows, so book it when you get the chance!

Very nice room with a large and comfortable bed. Nice decoration. Very kind host, always ready to help (to book a safari trip, to find the best way to go to our next guesthouse...). Super breakfast (and diner). I definitely recommend this place !!

The cleanest, most comfortable rooms in our whole Sri Lanka trip. Hot water with power shower, good WiFi, AMAZING FOOD! Breakfast included with our stay. The hosts are wonderful, friendly and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Tea and coffee making facilities, a welcome drink when you arrive and organising an excellent safari for a great price. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Udawalale. Stayed for two nights and it was amazing, highly recommended!

We stayed 3 nights in Udawalawe - enough time to go on a safari in the national park and visit other sites in the area. The accommodation was perfect - comfortable, quiet, with AC, and centrally located. Upul and his sister are excellent hosts. They arranged everything, including the safari, and the food was amazing.

Great little secluded spot, very quiet except for the tropical birds! A/C fantastic. Very comfortable and the breakfast was copious and delicious. Lovely brother and sister host team. Can help you organise a safari for the morning but you will have to get up at 5am...

We stayed one night in Bright Sun to go to the safari but staying in bright sun was a nice experience itself. The whole place is very green and relaxing, a calm peaceful corner of Udawalawa. The room is clean and comfortable. Upul and family were very friendly, welcoming and accomdating. They gave the best to make our stay as enjoyable as it can be. It make things extra special. The dinner prepared was the BOMB! It is best we had in Sri Lanka. The curries were very tasty and very generous portion. The breakfast provided was so huge! We really enjoyed our stay there :) :)

Literally the best place to stay if you intend to do a safari in udawalawe. The room and bathroom is big and super clean. You get our own little house and for cheap. The breakfast is also very good. But most important, the staff is the best ! Always there for you, helping you and guiding you, like a friend telling me good tips. Great value for money, i truly recommend it !

Upul and its family are kind and helpful. Room was nice and clean. A/C was working well and there was good water pressure in the shower. Double check the time of dinner with them to avoid any surprise. Our dinner was served at 7pm and we weren’t ready for it. Food was good though.

Nice warmhearted people, cosy chalets, delicious breakfast - very good intro to the safari in Udawalawe:). We felt at home being there. And they work with the best safari driver - knowledgeable, respectful to the nature. We received so much interesting information about animals from him, he was not following the crowd and we were almost all the time the first ones to arrive to the right places to spot wild animals. :) Highly recommended!

β€œThe owner, Upul was super helpful and nice. He arranged our safari at a reasonable price and also helped us get transportation to our next location. The breakfast was huge and delicious. Wi-fi worked perfectly along with A/C. Room was clean and the whole environment was so relaxing we wished we could have stayed longer.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely amazing stay! Everyone goes put of their way to provide the finest service. Check-in/out was very simple and flexible. The rooms were clean as they can be and the beds have been very comfy. To top it off the food was top notch as well. You cant get anything better or comparible for that...
