Tappers village is a wonderful place to hang out with your family. The hospitality is very high. Their service is highly commendable for a very reasonable price. Beautifully designed with nature in mind, this place is a perfect place for those who love the environment. The natural pool and play area are a very interesting finish. I think everyone who comes will love this place because of the delicious food and the beautiful environment. Separate rooms have a cottage style, making it an ideal place to accommodate space as needed. Their service is excellent.

Great for a family vacation. A great hotel for a weekend getaway. This place only about 2.5 hours’ drive from Colombo. They’ve got around four chalets with spacious room. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The highlight of the hotel is the natural pool. The food was delicious and the staff was helpful. The hotel is situated in the middle of a rubber estate so the surrounding area is calm and peaceful.

We spent a weekend at Tappers and it was amazing! The place is so beautiful and yet so close to Colombo which makes it a perfect weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was exceptional and for the very reasonable price, it was well worth the money. The staff was super friendly and helpful at all times. We had a very restful time there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable yet worthwhile getaway. We had two kids below 2 years and they too seemed to be very happy. Would definitely come again 😊

This was our second visit and the place has improved a lot. The place was clean and well maintained. This is an ideal place if you don't want to go too far from Colombo with the current fuel restrictions. Got there in 1 + 1/2 hours and great moderate climate. (neither hot or cold). Probably a better place to rest than for sightseeing. The only place that you could go is along the road up to the mountain (roughly 1.5km) where there is a village & a waterfall called "Kiriella" and you could see the surrounding mountains including Sri Pada on a clear day.

Our family visited this place last weekend. We were the only guests on that day. A beautiful green location calm, clean and peaceful. Surrounded with Rubber trees. There's a nice natural pool which we enjoyed bathing. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A hidden Gem. If you want to do a family gateway, this is the place. 3 bungalows and can accommodate more than 15 guests. Clean and cool natural pool is great to relax. Spacious, well maintained rooms. Appu will cook what you prefer. food was amazing and best BBQ I ever had.

If you are looking for a greenish view and love to spend some quality time with nature, this is the place to be. The atmosphere was so pleasant and perfect for relaxing. The Natural pool is the highlight for me in this well-maintained property. The water was so clean and cool as the water source coming from the nearby rock (according to the staff). The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom is open air yet it secures your privacy. The food and desserts were satisfying. All in all, it was a wonderful experience for my family. I highly recommend Tappers Village to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway.

Tappers village is a delightful place to get away from the city for a day-out, or one night trip to relax. It’s located in Awissawella and easy to reach if you are going on a vehicle. (1snd half hours from colombo) The place is surrounded by rubber estates and nature, but the most fascinating part is the natural pool. They have made a pool out of a natural water stream surrounded by trees and rocks. Such a beautiful place. Rooms are very neat and clean , they have nicely designed cottages. The one we stayed was having 8 beds in two rooms and 2 bathrooms. Best for family or friends outing. Food is delicious and have a good variety of the menu and they served nice desserts for lunch and dinner. Service is great, the staff is really nice and friendly, served us on times we have given. They have all kinds of games in the lobby area, and have karaoke set up. We enjoyed every bit of our stay.

We went there for a day out and we had an amazing time. Everything was great! Lots of activities to engage in. The natural pool was so relaxing. Food was great too. Coming back again and recommending it to others!

A quiet place in the middle of a rubber plantation. There is a natural swimming pool and an artificial swimming pool for small children. It is a suitable place for a vacation with family.

One of the best holiday destinations within 2 hrs from Colombo. We really enjoyed the serene beauty of the location ideally suited to relax after a long and tight work schedule. The food is excellent with Sri Lankan style cuisines very well served to your liking. Worth mentioning the yummiest of dishes prepared by Chef Nihal. A day filled with natural wonders and culinary delights! The crystal-clear waters of the natural pool were so inviting, and the garden bloomed with vibrant colors that uplifted our spirits. Such a remarkable and enjoyed three days stay at Tappers. Well-constructed premises with all amenities considering real feel of nature. The pool also nicely constructed keeping natural water springs intact and it’s clean and tidy. If you want to taste authentic Sri Lankan taste of homemade cooking, this is a perfect place which doesn't have commercial taste of artificial ingredients with bulk cooking. Very nice and humble staff and they are flexible and wholeheartedly treat their guests. Thank you Mahathun,Nihal,Janaka,Chaminda and Lahiru for your remarkable service during our stay. And thank you Heshan, the manager who also coordinated all our needs in booking and during the stay.
