No place is perfect! But surprisingly Monsoon park was alright. Having said that this place is not for everyone, and you shouldn't expect alot out of this place. spent two days and the place had issues from only one proper working shower to the power trip falling if you use the hot water for to long. The place has 4 double bed rooms (3 rooms have fans) from which only 2 rooms have a view of the jungle/rubber trees. Around 8 can stay comfortably. It does get cold at night, with a lot of bugs, so bring sheets to cover and towels to use. The cost is around 25k per night to book the full house. Parking is available for about 6 vehicles, but you can park more using the drive way. Food was alright. Ask them to make Sri Lankan meals. As they don't know Western dishes. Also the Google map goes only up to the main road turn off, after that you need to call for directions once you turn into the private lane/ tea and rubber estates. The last few kilometers the road gets a little bad, but drive able. Even a small car which is not over loaded can make it. We were a bit over weight so we had to get off and walk in a few spots to avoid the car floor scrapping the gravel road. Overall the location is great but the place needs alot more work. If your a bunch of guys who like camping, this place is for you. Ideal boys trip location. Also make sure you go during the dry season as you will have nothing to do once it rains. And you do need to put a small walk between meal area and the master bed rooms. It's really rains hard alot here. They also have a few spots indoors and outdoors to have a drink. The river area has a great view but the river bed is very uneven on one side and not safe of kids or drunk men as you can hurt and cut your self's on the rocks. Overall if your not fussy and don't mind ruffing it out a bit the place is for you.

Grate place to stay food and the service is good

This is very lovely place to spend time. Until you go there you will not believe there is a such a wonderful place hidden there. The river is a perfect place to spend the time and have fun with your family.

One of the most breathtaking places of this kind .crystal clear clean warm water This spout make you reborn when take a dip.and very safe place for kids as well. If you want to relax and spend a unforgettable day out this is the place.Other advantage is you could drive your new Japanese car here from colombo. On top of the beauty of the nature ,the food cook by Francis is so and tasty and clean. This property is owned by a medical officer who has the passion towards the nature and trees.So the place has not ruined by unwanted construction. I am going to come here with my wife very often.

Great place to have some fun. But unfortunayely I went there with my company members during rainy day. Even thoughy we had lots of fun. Be aware of leeches. They would suck your blood😢

The worst place I have visited ever for day out. On booking, they promised lot of things but we only found an air riffle with 20 bullets. No cycling, no boat rides, no village tours, even no pool. We got a muddy river at very risky location to bath. We are very unsatisfied about this location.

We booked the villa and it was the Perfect getaway Food is great and awesome service from the housekeeper Francis had a epic BBQ and the Ambience was mind-blowing and the host is awesome he gave us directions and even welcomed us to a family meal and helped in everyway he can during our stay,a must visit place in Sri Lanka nature wildlife activies❤️will definitely visit again.Thanks for everything

Fantastic experience I had here. Visited here through a friends suggestion. The place is based on eco tourism. A favourite of many tourists that come to this part of Sri Lanka. They've usually rent out the whole premise once booked. So you have the freedom to do anything inside the premises. The huts are made of wood and other structures with bricks. There are wood made benches all over the place for resting. The best part is the water stream that flows by next to it which is excellent for you to have a good bath and have some beer.

Beautiful place away from hustle and bustle.. Also they serve authentic Sri Lankan dishes on your request. Just 1 and half drive from Colombo when you come on highway. The beautiful stream at the boarder of the property is the attraction and also you can book the shalet overlooking the water stream in which they provide 02 double beds with nets and about 5 single beds with nets for your comfortable stay.
