I
live
just
outside
of
Elsa
so
I
thought
I'd
give
Lee
Roy's
Chicken
and
Burgers
a
try.
The
restaurant
is
located
right
at
the
border
between
Edcouch
and
Elsa
in
a
strip
mall
and
is
easy
to
miss.
Parking
is
quick
as
there
is
no
curb,
so
parking
ones
car
means
just
driving
in
to
the
parking
area..
The
building
is
older,
and
the
entrance
is
a
simple
glass
door.
The
exterior
like
the
interior
is
no
nonsense
and
nondescript.
There
is
plenty
of
seating
inside.
I
placed
a
phone
order
for
two
burger
combos
with
a
busy
young
woman
and
was
told
it
would
be
ready
in
15
minutes.
It
was.
I
have
to
say
the
burger
is
filling.
The
beef
patty
appears
to
be
a
1/3
pound
and
the
buns
are
soft
and
chewy.
It
is
a
large
tasty
burger
reminding
me
of
what
we
used
to
get
at
Whataburger.
In
my
opinion
the
amount
of
meat
demands
more
cheese
to
balance
it
out,
but
then
that
is
my
preference
as
some
people
don't
want
cheese
in
their
burgers.
Aside
from
that,
the
combo
of
this
very
filling
burger
and
fries
along
with
a
drink
was
reasonably
set
at
the
time
of
this
posting
at
a
little
over
8
dollars.
I
recommend
the
burgers
at
Lee
Roy's
Chicken
and
Burgers.
