My Doctor is amazing. However, that front desk staff and those medical assistants and lab techs have some of the most rude, nasty and disrespectful attitudes I have ever seen. Over the years I have seen the clinic take a decline. Customer service used to be wonderful, now it is non existent. The front desk girls just look at you weird when you walk in, they don’t even greet you. The lab seems unorganized and you will literally wait 1 hour and it’s only 2 patients waiting. It didn’t use to be like that. They need to tighten up. Thankfully I don’t have to go there anymore just received a letter in the mail that my doctors leaving that horrid place.

Beyond unprofessional. I went here to see a doctor looking for a new primary. The doctor I went to see, Dr Barnard, made it seem like I was bothering him to even be there. Asked me multiply times why I was there. He didn't even do a full woman exam when I haven't had one in years and he falsified records saying he did. He also lied on the same paperwork and said I denied certain things that I actually came in for. I feel extremely discriminated against. I should not have to pay for an exam when I was not given it. I have been trying to resolve the issue with Connie, the manager, who is now avoiding me. At first, she heard me out, apologized for the way I was treated and said she would refund me since I paid out of pocket but I still have to pay lab. Fine. Makes sense. But now, everytime I call someone is giving me attitude like I did something to them and Connie is sending me to voicemail. Highly unprofessional. I don't want to be there no more than y'all want me there so give me my money back and hire better doctors. Please look over your records. Because they will lie on them.

Had an appointment this morning to see my primary care physician who moved to this medical clinic effective July 1st. Because I would not comply with the Encompass policy to write down credit card information on a form, I was told I could not see my doctor. I was in shock. This goes against HIPPA laws. I left not seeing my doctor whom I have seen for many years. I now have to find another doctor. This has been a first for me. This policy was put in place because of those who do not pay their bills. So therefore I’m punished because I wish to not share personal credit card information that could possibly wind up in the wrong hands. This day and age one has to protect themselves from identity theft and/or security breaches.

I have had such a great experience at Encompass. I feel like I have partners in healthcare here. Dr. Smollen is my primary MD and I am so comfortable and confidant in her care. I never feel rushed or scurried along . She always listens carefully and works with me to determine my exact needs. Sometimes I can’t get in right away to see her so I need to see a nurse practitioner and they are top quality professionals and also provide amazing care. I love the convenience of the lab, X-ray and other testing services being right on sight. All the staff is kind and helpful!! As I get older(67 now) it’s important to be taken seriously about my health!! That’s what I get at Encompass!! You will too!

My doctor does a fine job, however, Front office staff could work on attitude issues and providing better customer service. A few months ago, at my First appt, the front desk wasn’t kind at all just plain rude. I took it as an off day. Appt with doctor went well and Lab techs were awesome with blood draw. They were helpful and friendly. It took over two months for someone to contact me for the two referrals i was waiting on. Today, No greeting when i entered the front door. when i approached the first window and said good morning. she looked at me and returned working with no acknowledgement. While I quietly waited, she finally looked at me with attitude and tone, she said “one of them will help you”. So I finally got checked in, still no friendly greetings from anyone. If you don’t like your job and you don’t want to help people, find something else to do. Cause i don’t want to be at the doctor office either. Consider what others are going thru and if you start out hateful that doesn’t set off a good tone for the visit. My doctor transferred to this clinic so i followed. I have been a patient of hers fir approximately ten years. Attitude at the front, Doesn’t make me want to stay at this clinic. I understand busy and there was no one around. I was the only one checking in. FFIVE STARS FOR THE IMAGING DEPARTMENT: I totally appreciated the Imaging staff, all were very kind, approachable, friendly and cheerful. Imaging appointment went very well. The technician conducting my test was so awesome during the dreaded imaging appointment she made it fun.

Absolutely terrible doctors office. Not only have the receptionist and the nurses been incredibly rude, but Amanda Nieder her provider has REFUSED to speak to my girlfriend any further regarding her heart condition due to her negative review of the facility. The manager Connie also refused to give us the information of the nurse who was handling her care. Extremely unprofessional and we will reporting them to the state. If you care about your health do not come here!

You have no walk ins and you want everyone to come in but it takes weeks to get an appt. I’ve had the same doctor for almost 30 years now I’m going to have to find a new doctor. I’ve been able to call my doctor and get sinus medication without going in( since it takes so long to get an appointment.) Charge me $15 I don’t care but don’t tell me I’ve got to come in when I’ve tested my self for Covid and this sinus infection happens about 2-3 times a year. Why do I have to come in? I love my dr and her nurses but hate your system. Not friendly at all. I hate looking for a new doctor but I don’t have a choice.

Was able to have biopsy same day as appointment! Dr. Franey and his nurse Cindy were so incredibly kind and kept the surgery fun (as a surgery can be)by talking to be to keep my mind occupied! I would love to be able to have all future procedures when possible by this team!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Buie’s for over 30 years and have always been treated with respect and compassion in addition to receiving excellent medical care. The entire staff is welcoming and helpful!

I really like the doctor care from encompass in Grandview but, I got to find another medical group. Encompass are afraid to allow patients to go in the office if they have a cough or any little symptoms of covid. I told them I took 2 covid test that were negative and they wanted me to do telehealth. The last time I did telehealth, I diagnosed myself to the doctor so, I think I should get paid. A doctor cannot diagnose a patient by looking at them through a phone or or whatever device is used. It is a waste of Healthcare money. I never got any better after that telehealth call. I called in 8/11/22 to get an appointment to see the doctor to be told I will not be allowed in office because, I have symptoms of covid. I made them aware I took a covid test that was negative but, they want me to do telehealth and I told them I prefer not to do telehealth so, they hung up on me. What type of service is that? I actually need chest xray. They will not allow patients back to see the doctor if they owe a bill. What type of office is this that does not care about their patients, especially those who have been using their services for years. The Pandemic must have shrunk whomever is over this medical group brain. I really hate to try finding a new doctor but this is to much.

Don't go. Find any other place but this health system. My mother was a patient of a doctor who was rude and dismissive. My mother filed a grievance about her treatment and she ended up banded from all Encompasses clinics saying she was non-compliant with her medication. The doctor attempted to prescribe my mother medication but couldn't explain to her how it would help her, so appropriately and rightfully she declined the medication. The doctor has since left and my 70 year old mother on Medicare can't go to any of the clinics in their health system. Terrible, do not go and definitely keep elderly and minority patients far away from them.

The reviews speak for themselves, truly. This is a sorry excuse for a medical office. The receptionist is incredibly rude and never helpful. Its nearly impossible to speak to anyone but Tonya the line operator (who is useless) and refuses to transfer patients to the nurse line even for urgent medical concerns. On to the nurses- a nurse called me to give me the results of my thyroid ultrasound and she could not even read me my results. I have to ask her several times to repeat what she was saying because she was mispronuncing every word she said. Eventually I just had to have her get another nurse to explain to me that I had a thyroid nodule. Lastly, Amanda Nieder, the NP I was seeing prescribed me ozempic to help with my insulin resistance. Initially my prior authorization for the medicine was declined and so I had to appeal the decision. Amanda Nieder REFUSED to sign my prior auth because she “knew it would not be approved.” Oddly enough after I made a simple phone call to my insurance, they approved me for the medication. No one at this office cares about their patients at all and there is SUCH a lack of respect and professionalism on ALL ENDS FROM RECEPTIONIST TO PROVIDER. I an immediately transferring to another provider despite ongoing medical conditions because of how POORLY I have been treated here.

The only reason I came to Encompass was for my Dr. my Dr there is now leaving and I can’t even see her before she leaves because they won’t put anyone in her cancellation blocks. Also asked if I can get my medical records via fax and was told no. I either have to come in and get them or they have to receive a fax from a different office stating they need my records? I literally signed a medical record release form.. so glad to not be going here anymore. Most of all the staff was rude every time I called or came in.

I would agree my husband's doctor Dr. Kricsfield is good but the office is horrible. My husband had severe back pain. It took over two weeks to get a fax sent to a specialist. Then the office blamed to new doctor saying they changed the fax number. They did not. Do not bother calling the office no one will answer or call you back. I put in requests to the port and still no response. My husband went in for blood work on a Tues morning which was required for his back surgery on Friday. On Thurs the results had not been sent to the Surgeon's office they had to call specifically. We will be changing doctor's which is unfortunate because like I said Dr. Kricsfield is good but the stress related to the office is not worth it.

I use to like going here, but the receptionist, yes the older woman, does not like to assist people! I called to check on my results on Friday. I called at 8am and the office phone message was like the place was closed. I called and left two messages with the nurse, no return messages, so at 3pm on Friday, I called and stayed on hold until 3:30pm. No one answered, I hung up and clocked out of work, and drove over to the Clinic. No one was in the waiting room to be seen, and the older woman was sitting at her desk doing paperwork. I asked to see the nurse...she already left. She asked me if I called the pharmacy looking for a prescription. I said, no, you all were supposed to call me about my test results. She said, no we don't do that.

I was devastated when LS Physicians Group closed and my doc went to the Hickman Mills office. It only took 1 visit to the office for me to RUN, not WALK to find another health provider. My first visit resulted in me standing there with all 3 older ladies at the front desk never acknowledging me. Not a nice place at all. I had to ask the people sitting there to be seen by a doc if I was to sign in anywhere. Plus, very questionable insurance practices there on billing for non necessary things. RUN, DO NOT WALK!

My health insurance directed me here, with multiple doctors accepting appointments (Cigna). Called, and was on hold for 15 minutes. When someone finally answered I get an "Appointments" and no doctors are accepting anyone new at this time. Have a nice day.

I was told my blood sugar was high. I asked if I should change my diet and was told no. Well I know that’s not true. I went to the Mayo clinic website to see what to do about my blood sugar. I was also suppose to get a referral to a sleep clinic and that never happened. I asked 3 times where the referral was. No answer.Im not sure if this is an issue with the new nurse. My dr used to have a nurse that was on the ball and fantastic. This gal obviously don’t know much and should have asked what to tell me about my blood sugar but then again the dr should have told her also.I should have been told just to see someone else if this is one of those issues this dr don’t deal with.

I kept coming because I had hope their guest experience was getting better. Unfortunately that is not the case. Thank you Aimee Lynn for yelling at me, and making me cry. I don’t know why you’re in the health industry when you treat people like you hate them.
