No coffee maker in the room, phone and alarm clock did not work at all, and pool wasn't usable because it "didn't pass inspection". Didn't see any bugs tho, so that's always good. On the way out a homeless couple was smoking fent on the stairs, but they were polite people. Way nicer than the people running the motel, that's for sure. I'd pass.

Once I was able to provide the $50 deposit we were finally checked in for the reservation I had paid for online. Our room was on the 2nd level, but no elevator. The price of washer & dryer not bad, except there is only one set and the dryer got hot but didn't tumble so my clothes didn't dry at all. The room itself was pretty small, but the bed was fairly comfy, room had a mini fridge, microwave, mini coffee maker & alarm clock.

The bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The staff was nice. The room was decent. Nothing special but it met all my needs. I like that its close to alot of restaurants the grocery, stores clothing stores and any business u need pretty much. The continental breakfast was fine had a nice variety, no meat though. I would stay here again was an affordable room for the price.

The front desk charged my card twice for the room and also charged me twice for the $50 deposit. I attempted to have them resolve it several times and had no response. Customers be aware. I'll clarify my review since Days Inn management is trying to pass off my review as if it were coming from a confused consumer so I'll post my edit and people can decide for themselves if this management sounds unprofessional. I told PK? (That's the name I understood) at the front desk that, after receiving 2 push notifications on my phone, that I then called my credit card company, and they verified that there were two actual charges on my card. PK then called his tech support on speaker phone, and Day's Inn tech support confirmed the double charge. PK said he wasn't able to refund it because he claimed it only showed once in his system. I spent 30 minutes in the lobby and again called the next day as I was driving. The front desk person said the manager would correct the double charge and call me right back. They never called, and that was my last communication. I did dispute the charge on my credit card and was able to recover my money in that manner. My advice to others is to either avoid this place or then book through a 3rd party. Just don't trust them to handle your money.

Disappointing Experience at the Motel I recently stayed at this motel and unfortunately had a highly unsatisfactory experience. The check-in process was marred by the rude behavior of the staff member, who questioned the number of occupants in our room when we simply requested additional towels due to the hot weather and our need for nighttime showers. Furthermore, he neglected to provide essential information such as the WiFi password and breakfast hours. The rooms were visibly unclean, with noticeable bugs on the beds. I regret to say that I will not be returning to this establishment in the future.

Breakfast was horrible. Spiders in my room. Dirt behind my bed and night stand. House cleaning entered my room while I was sleep. Dangerous set up. Rude front desk not very helpful. Trash from the parking lot all the way up to my room. Fees per day. Horrible stay!!

I read a lot of terrible horrible reviews about this place but already had it booked and our trip was already planned. We figured if it was too awfully bad we could always go somewhere else. Well to be completely honest with you there really wasn't much wrong with this place. It was a little rundown, and old hotel. Yes there are cigarette holes in the bedspreads but Linens looked great could not find any signs of any bed bugs and it may not be the Ritz-Carlton but it still did a fine job. The front desk was very accommodating.

There are several motels in the area. Do yourself a favor and do not book this one, as this is the worst motels I have ever been to in my life. They do not clean the rooms. I was here 2 weeks, and the housekeeper came one time. The price is not accurate. Every day you stay, they charge you a $2.50 "service fee." I've never heard of such a thing. The customer service is AWFUL! Everyone working here does not want to be there, and they talk down on their customers, like they are scum. If they think you are a few minutes late to checkout-and they do not check their records to make sure-they will start pounding on your door like madmen. The receptionists go out of their way to be unhelpful, and everything is a struggle for them. The computer is broken, they leave food on the lobby floor, they are never at their desks, they talk to customers like they are little kids, and they have all these ridiculous rules, like you cannot take the breakfast to your room? Why? You paid for it, so you can take it wherever you want. The workers are generally very disrespectful, especially Jennifer, a supervisor with a huge chip on her shoulder, and one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. She talked to me in a very disrespectful, condescending inhumane way which I did not appreciate and will not tolerate. There is a young, female receptionist who was not as bad as the others. Maybe she can train Jennifer and teach her manners. So, yeah, this was a terrible stay. Fortunately, I was able to sign the lease to my new place and move in today, but you cannot run a business, nor treat people like this, so I will be filing a complaint.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We stayed here the night of June 4, 2021, on our cross country move from Oregon to North Carolina. Thousands of dollars worth of our belongings were stolen either while we were at the baseball game, or over night while we were asleep. There is no way to know when it was stolen, because the hotel still has yet to provide us with security footage after they stated that they do have a security camera that faces where we were parked. Besides that hiccup, our room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the the window in our room did not have an option to open in order to get fresh air from the smell of cigarettes. It also had cigarette burns in the bed cover, had ratty holes in the sheets, and was over all disgusting. If youโ€™re trying to save a few dollars by staying hereโ€ฆ save yourself and go literally anywhere else.

Horrible!!! Rooms were nasty. Area was just as bad. My wife an i took turns sleeping in our truck to keep an eye on our stuff. There was a toilet sitting at the top of the stairs. Broken furniture everywhere out side. The phone on the table by the bed had all its cords pulled out and laying on top of it. Bathroom didnt look like it had been cleaned. Dont stay here!!!

We reserved a king mattress. After multiple calls to front desk finally got someone to answer, allegedly all kings were booked. Hotel looked 25% full. Front desk person was aloof and not helpful in both instances. Room wasn't clean. Tv had to be powered on by hitting button on the TV itself. Local channels did not work. Direct TV had a message saying equipment needed to be updated. Toilet needs to have the stopper fixed, it liked to continously fill itself. Overall not an experience that i expected from a Hotel with Wyndham in the name.

4 days in a row housekeeping has not came in and because we come in late from working we have not been able to get clean washcloth or towels let alone any service in the room from housekeeping. I have went to the front desk and complained three different times about the same thing.... And they have not even tried to accommodate us in the least possible way. You're better off going somewhere else obviously.... And we will too...

Rate was about right. Rooms need some attention. Holes in walls, old worn out furniture, hot water takes forever, no plug for the bath and the air vent sounds like a squeeking airplane..... Check in was smooth and welcoming, was not expecting the $50 deposit tho. Check out was a bit annoying. Worker was away from the front desk over 30 mins, had to call the hotel to get him to come to the desk to check out. I would stay again, but not sure I would bring my grandkids. Did not seem like a place I would want them to stay at. Coffee was hot tho!

We were going to a Royals game and needed a place to stay for a night. It served its purpose. I can tell they are trying to update the rooms which is good. The bathroom needs to be done badly! I was disgusted when I went to brush my teeth and the sink was dirty (we had not used it) with hair and other debris. I definitely wouldn't stay there long term but for a night it's not bad.

Right on I70. Not the motel to go get a good night's sleep. Room was overall fairly clean. Couldn't plug into any outlets because they were all too loose. Bed was clean but like a sheet of plywood. Saw a broken meth pipe outside our door at one point. Pool was closed for "maintenance" surprise surprise. Horrible insulation. Could here everything from the interstate and every room around us. Like I said, not the motel to book for a good night's sleep.

0 stars at best. Rooms are dirty. Bathroom has mildew. Remote did not work. Had the nerve to charge to charge me for dirty towels. You got your $13.75 for towels, but lost all future business. I've stayed here several times when passing through, but will not again.

The breakfast wasnโ€™t anything amazing, but my room was clean and I was able to get extra towels! I did find a small spider in the shower but they mightโ€™ve just been normal

They actually have smoking rooms which helped me but they also have non smoking. And considering the area it isn't bad at all they even offer breakfast just make sure you go early because when they run out that's it. The only issue I had was trying to get another night in person was going to cost double so just to see why the change I discovered the lady was in fact trying to take advantage of me so I just booked online. You should have seen her face when I went back and said I renewed online. Priceless. I hope this helps have a good day.

Roach motel. The room had a bunch of roaches. The floor was dirty and there was dust on the counters, lamps, window sill, etc. You can hear everything going on outside, like all the drunk people yelling and fighting, even people just having a quiet conversation. The front desk lady is very rude and snotty. They also charged us for an extra night without even saying anything and refused to fix it when confronted about it.

Cleanest hotel room I've had in awhile. Very quiet at night!. The only problem I had was getting my deposit refunded to my card. It's only been a day so hopefully it will be refunded today.

Save your self money by not giving it to these greedy slum hotel ppl. Not only do they have poor attitudes and lack of compassion they also have dirty sheets roaches and at times rotting food under the bed. The room cleaning please what room cleaning you have to literally ask and when you do they brush you off and maybe hours later they will stop by to give you toilet paper. They literally will take your deposit for anything so if you go just make sure you do the house keepers job for them or your screwed. Good luck

Maybe I'm a bit harsh. But I'll be honest, besides the cleanliness of the room the only exceptional thing is the WiFi. For what it's worth, is is a good, strong, streaming, multi device WiFi. That and the heat in the shower. HOWEVER, not a pen, or anything to write on. Asked the maid, who I noticed had 2-3 on her cart. Nope. 3 buildings, the middle one, "best value in" seems to be where everything and everyone is directed. No even minor continental breakfast. Enough outlets, but JUST enough to not have to swap a laptop and game system out. I'm the kind that goes to local motels to get away and get mostly personal projects done, and that is literally all that was possible. No vending machine, no dryer. Honestly I wonder if once next door gets built (ALL the same people) if they won't split from wyndam and become only a their own separate place or sub franchise out. If you travel for a living and can only afford the cheapest, here you are.

If i could give a negative 100 i would. Thieves...dirtiest rooms Ive ever seen. Blood on the walls, evidence of bed bugs. Stayed one night and was woken up by some girl telling me i had an hour to pack my things and get out because my service dog had an acvident and we used a tpwel to finish cleaning it up. I went and talked to the owner who told me to get out necaise he did not want anymore accidents. I had already paid for 4 nights.. He not only kicked me out but threatened to call the police if i wasnt out in an hour. I was very ill myself but he did not care. I asked for a refund and told him i would pay for the cheap towel i used. He offered no refund but did the opposite. I checked my bank and he tried to charge me $150 on one date. $144 on the next day then a $50, $5 and $2 charge all on my debit card. None of which were authorized by me plus he got the 4 nights that were already paid for through a 3rd party vendor. He is a thief amd a very mean and unreasonable man. I have disputed all charges and am contacting Wyndham. This super foul disgusting motel should not be a Wyndham property at all. It didnt have breakfast like it said nor did they even have coffee. Very ran down poorly ran trap motel. Trash everywhere and just plain gross.

This hotel is close to every restaurant, shop, store, business, and gas stations you can think of. You won't have to drive far to buy your needs/ wants. I stood in room #177, and it was absolutely clean. Without any odor. Room was throughly cleaned and smelled clean too. Which was a surprise ๐Ÿ˜ฎ having paid just $41 a night. Hey, Missouri treated me well coming from South Florida ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Well, when I come back I will stay right here again, God willing.

  • 1/5 Dulce G. 2 years ago on Google
Never will I stay here again they said on website that there is a free continental breakfast which is a lie.. We also found roaches in our room when we woke up the next morning. And when i tried to talk to the front desk he basically shunned it off. The didn't refund me the money which I figured they wouldn't. Days inn has fell in the tank they let bad management run hotels for them all the time and never take accountability for the problems people have here. I will never stay here again. Or any other days inn from now on

Literal cigarette burns in the comforter. Pretty messy. Toilet was broken and ran/refilled all night. This is basically a no-tell motel. I'm surprised they don't rent it by the hour. Nice people at the front desk though.

Got to the place which I paid for 2 nights. There is no microwave and the tv doesn't work. Guy keeps telling me he's sending someone to fix it. Nobody comes. I'm starting to think they don't even have cable. It's all for show.

  • 2/5 Josh L. 1 year ago on Google
Room selection was poor. Was over priced, compared to what is shows for online deals. There were dead bugs on the floor. Then it wasn't quiet either. People sitting in loud cars and playing music loudly too. The location was the only real good thing. Your close to the highway and other accessible roads. Overall 1.5 stars.

  • 1/5 Nathan L. 1 year ago on Google
Don't! Just don't! Noisy, run down and poor service! The beds were the ONLY decent thing about the room! Hole in the curtains and comforters... Carpet and furniture is horrible... Dirty! Bottom of the tub is black, bathroom light switch has a short, and the toilet seat is some how smaller than the actual tiny toilet! Small TV with a remote missing the battery cover and the power button doesn't work! And when the TV is padlocked to the wall you know you are in a bad area! They required a $100 deposit but the entire room isn't worth $100! Currently in a really bad heat wave and they can't be bothered to get the pool in working order! And no breakfast either! Just stay away!

We were able to check in early. And the lady at the front desk said the room is clean but the pillows aren't in their yet and she would get them in their while we were gone. When we got back to the room at 1am mind you, their was no pillows. The employee working at the front desk was refusing to give us pillows. When we FINALLY got the pillows, they had no pillow cases on them. It was close enough to the stadium. Probably the only benefit for this location. Half the outlets didn't work and the only thing they could do for us for our poor visit was give us a discount on our next stay. We will NOT be returning to this location unless we have NO other option.

  • 1/5 Misty W. 1 year ago on Google
Very rude and has roaches. I paid for 2 nights and only got 1 and they would not refund me. The staff is very unprofessional (except 1 of the maids. She was very nice) and they will look for any reason at all to hustle you out of your deposit.

  • 2/5 scott l. 1 year ago on Google
The folks that work there are incredibly polite. The room wreaked of cigarette smoke, there were burn holes in sheets, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, and the bathroom light would click, then flicker, then turn on. I highly recommend spending a little more to go to a different hotel.

  • 2/5 Carri J. 2 years ago on Google
Nice people working here, but the clientele is unsavory. As I was checking out a woman walking by warned me against staying here, then when I was leaving I saw a woman who looked like she was on drugs leave a room with three men. The room itself had significant cosmetic damage, wasn't as clean as it should be i.e. a washclothing hanging on the shower curtain rail. The cord was also missing from the phone in the room and the drapes had holes.

This is not the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it is definitely in the running! The room was not filthy, but didn't feel "clean" either and had an odd odor. The management is aware of this and just sprays the room when you check in. The shower was literally a trickle, there was barely any water coming out of the shower head and didn't go out far enough to be able to stand under it. The TV didn't even work! And finally the "breakfast" spread consisted of four pieces of white bread in the pastry display, 1/2 gal of milk in the cooler, and what looked like 1/2 tub of batter or butter. That is IT! Nothing else! Never staying here again! I have paid less for so much better!

  • 3/5 Laurie G. 1 year ago on Google
Was an okay stay. I stayed in a handicap room that I was grateful to get. It seemed clean but found a wrapper in the tub. The rug looked bad! One bed was really hard and the other one was soft. The sheets and towels were clean though. I was upset though that I couldn't get my breakfast and coffee unless I went to the other hotel America's Best because the lobby was closed due to no staff. Right at checkout time the front desk staff was beating on my door continuously until I opened the door. That upset me the most because I couldn't get to the door quickly. So don't plan on staying a minute late at these two hotels! Otherwise it was surprisingly quiet despite the highway traffic going by. So I guess you get what you pay for! I don't think that I would stay here again!

I wanted to let you know about my experience at {Days Inn by Wyndham Independence} last weekend. It was a great stay, the room was nice and clean, and the service was excellent. I really appreciated that {Days Inn by Wyndham Independence} had a complimentary breakfast. It's such a shame that I had to leave early this morning because of the snowstorm! I'll be sure to stay here again in the future if I'm ever in your neck of the woods! Cheers,

The rooms are very dirty. Half of the lights in the room do not work. The carpets are dirty and there is suspicious stain on the floor. The bathroom door looks like there was a head put through the door and lazily fixed. There was a fight in the parking lot at 4 am. People we're yelling and slamming doors.

  • 5/5 Richard Lee H. 1 year ago on Google
These people are great and so are the rooms. Either or days inn or America's best value inn.. just don't smoke in the no smoking rooms unless you want to lose your 50 deposit. Seen it happen many times. Including to myself
