Spent the afternoon exploring the trees with my nephew and mom over 4th July weekend and we had a blast! Such a beautiful location tucked into the woods with several obstacles each with their own unique challenge. The longest Zipline at 425' was an amazing ride the whole way down only being beaten out for favorite by the Tarzan swing which was such a rush!! I felt secure and safe the entire time attached, the staff were very friendly aswell. Only downer was a car did get broken into while we were there so be sure and lock your doors! All in all we had a great time and would definitely return for another Go Ape Ziplining adventure!

I took my son to celebrate his birthday & he had a BLAST! The trainers were top notch! Incredibly kind, informative, gentle, respectful, etc. I can't say enough about the entire staff that we were in contact with, from the check-in booth employees, to those who were on/watching/training on these courses. Safety is important to me and Go Ape's safety precautions made me feel completely comfortable with my son enjoying the course, without me with him. :) There were people of all age groups and Go Ape has several options to have the best experience, for what you're wanting to do. Their customer service, via telephone AND in person, is also top notch! [There were no issues, I just had some more questions and received great information.] Literally NO hold time to speak to a live person. Both telephone Customer Service Rep's I spoke to were awesome! This was a phenomenal experience for my son and I would recommend Go Ape to anyone. We've found our new happy place and WILL be coming back, asap! Thank you, GoApe!!! 🌳🍃☀️🍃🌳

We did the treetop adventure and it was great! Though think more "obstacle course in the treetops" than "zipline course through the trees". Some of it is very challenging but you can choose to take an easier path around some of the obstacles. The guides don't really go with you after the initial training which, since we have done things like this before, was nice and we could move at our own pace. For new people it could be a little intimidating. Bring your own gloves (we used common work/gardening gloves), closed-toed shoes, bug spray and cargo pants if you want to take your phone. Long pants are recommended for the landings off the zip lines and harnesses. Super fun and a great way to get a workout! Also nice for those who have a small fear of heights to try and overcome some of it.

You can never have too much fun with ziplines. We did the treetop course which was awesome. There are different obstacles to get through and then you can zip to the next batch. It's so much fun, I promise you'll have a blast. While there a lady who was afraid of heights had an episode and Jeff, our instructor was up there very fast to help. She made it down safely! Great staff, great place, great times. Definitely would recommend them, and I think we'll be going again

We had a wonderful time at go ape adventure park. It’s zip-lining and a ropes course in the trees. Eileen was wonderful on the ground, talking us through different decisions and encouraging our little ones. Jeff was great with the swing (definitely the Scariest but funnest part). Great staff overall and great experience!! We also had one member who was too scared to do the course and they let her try for a long as she was comfortable and no one pressured her and they graciously refunded her when she couldn’t do it. Definitely recommend this with kids in Kansas City!

Pros: (1) Giant area of tree-top ropes courses (5 courses or more) (2) Very fun, and can be done comfortably by people who are slightly out of shape (can be done slightly uncomfortable by obese people) Cons: (1) Price is reasonable for the experience, but it’s still up to around $75 per person (for full experience including gloves and tax)

Went today at 10:00 in the morning. For are 44th wedding anniversary! I wasn’t sure if I could do it. I’am 64 years old . Wasn’t to sure about the height either. But it wasn’t to bad I climbed pretty good and walk across the bridges and I did all the zip lines! I made it ! I had lots of fun and the people working there were great! Very helpful and made sure we all were safe! Different going back with my kids!

We have had two kid birthday parties at Go Ape and both have been great successes. They were very large groups but the staff was efficient, professional and great with the kids. I highly recommend Go Ape for your next bday party.

We did the haunted zip line. It was not what we expected. It was mostly climbing through obstacles in the trees. There was only one zip line at the end. It was supposed to be scary....nope. One good scare cast member. She was bloody and looking for a friend. The employees were amazingly friendly and enthusiastic. If you like climbing through the obstacle course in the tree tops, you will love it. If you want to zip line from tree to tree to tree, you may be disappointed. It was definitely a challenge, and I feel great that I was able to complete it.

Not a fan of the rigging system they use. It feels a little less safe than other ziplines/ropes courses. also the fisherman's traps aren't exactly adult friendly. The staff was friendly, but the overall experience didn't feel like the safest situation (responsible for your own rigging, no helmets, instructors not watching)

Wife and I just went there today for our 17th anniversary. She's been once before and today was my first time. It was a heck of a workout and a lot of fun. I've had 3 knee surgeries and I'm going to be sore for a couple of days most likely but it was a great way to celebrate an anniversary. Staff was awesome. Tarzan obstacle was down due to them being short staffed but ther than that it was a great experience.

Very unprofessional they canceled my son’s 5th birthday party 2 hours before it was supposed to start due to staffing issues. They didn’t have enough staff to have both adventures open at the same time so they had to close one which is totally understandable because safety is vital but again they chose to keep the 10 & up adventure open as opposed to the all ages. In my opinion that was totally unfair and none of the staff displayed any sort of compassion, they were rude about it and didn’t even try to come up with a different solution.

We had a blast! We did the Treetop Adventure and definitely got our money's worth. It was challenging but not impossible. We hope to bring our kids back to the easier/shorter one sometime. Only complaint is that the zipline landings were a little rough.

Park was nice. Just obstacle courses no long distance zip lining. Staff was great. Timothy was awesome with our party and helping others.

Well worth the price! If your family likes adventure and no one has any serious fear of heights, plan an afternoon in Swope Park at Go Ape. The grounds are really wooded and secluded - you'll forget you are in the city! The staff is terrific. I have personally done the course three times and had a great experience every time. On our last visit, my son lost his Royals cap while going down the zipline and Jeff, one of the the guides that day, went into the brush to retrieve it.

This is our second time coming out here, and both times was a blast! Fun and, for the most part, you aren't rushed through. The staff is very friendly and they all make sure everyone is safe. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of thrill!

Very fun and entertaining. Stay hydrated and be ready to use your strength. It took about 2 hours to complete but you can take as much time as you want. Great staff always having fun and making sure you're having a great time too! Could be a good time for younger kids but lots of physical exertion. If your an adult you WILL , be tested but also have lots of fun
