    Odelia is very friendly, welcoming and also a wonderful cook. The sound of Afrobeats playing on the tv creates an authentic atmosphere, as if you have been transported back to Naija. The beef jollof rice with fried plantain I had was full of flavour and reasonably priced at £12. It was accompanied with a big bottle of Nigerian Fanta (£3). I would definitely recommend and will be back again. To sum up, dis food sweet well well! 👏

    I’ve tried many Nigerian restaurants since moving to the area and I can say this is the best of them all. The quality of the food is outstanding, authentic and fresh and cooked by someone who knows their food well. Reminds me of home. I eat here all the time and would recommend anybody that either wants that home cooked feeling or to try Nigerian cuisine for the first time to look no further than Calabar Aroma! 10/10.

    Visited this restaurant for the first time last night! The food and the hospitality from the people working in the restaurant was great! A really tasty African cuisine in the heart of Grays which I would highly recommend to anyone who likes African food or who would like to experience African food for the first time. Will definitely be going again.

    Just been to Calabar Aroma and really enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and we all had a great time. These people know how to cook chicken and the rice was spicy, but not too spicy which is how I like it. Thank you for looking after us. Pops 👍🏻

    Great food & Great service. All the food was tasty, the chicken was my favourite. Service was great, friendly and we were well looked after. Will be going back again.

    We enjoyed our football team meal at Calabar aroma, great food, atmosphere and service. The fried rice and jollof was a particular favourite within the team made up of many different cultures

    The food is amazing & the owner is a lovely lady, who is more than happy accommodate any ask you may have. I have never been disappointed with my order, best African food in grays.

😠 Just had food delivered from Essex grill 2 in grays food was stone cold and was refused any replacment. As you can see ambient temperature is 20 degree's and food is 23-25, it would of literary been that hot if just sat on the side and chips were not even hot enough to melt the cheese
