1st time to visit Fidget & Bob after countless chats about the place and i wasn't disappointed. Lovely cafe with just the perfect menu to choose from. Not a coffee drinker but told it is great and the hot chocolate was immense. Definitely worth a visit.

Fidget & Bob is simply just the best place I know. Super kind people who really care about you and the quality of the food. The service is amazing, and the atmosphere is just so good. I kinda feel like I am at home there. 🥰

Great service, tasty food (lots of vegan & veggie options), brilliant coffee and atmosphere! Would love it if you can extend your hours to later in the day, and have a few more indoor tables please!

Eaten here a few times and the atmosphere is always great, the staff is lovely and the food and desserts are always a joy. The custard donut was so goood it gave me the power to take a bare shin headkick to the dome just hours later so it goes to show just how great of a place this is ☺️.

I forgot my lunch today so after work I decided to try Fidget and Bob (after a few years) and I got The Caprese Panini. And I must say when the handed it to me it just felt heavy. I wasn't expecting something like that for what was in it. But I gotta say, the sandwich was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. And for the price I was more than a satisfied! I really love the pesto inside and I'd love to know where you get it from! The staff were all very friendly, they were all still wearing masks, social distancing and it made the place just feel a bit better knowing that they're putting effort in everything (not just the food/drinks) I look forward to coming back again very soon.

The beef pastrami sandwich took my tastebuds to another dimension! The staff are lovely and brought hot water bottles out to my girlfriend (spicy pepperoni panini. Also amazing!) and I sat outside to eat. Love this place!

Dropped by one Friday lunch to find the place packed, and for good reason... Excellent lunch and friendly staff.

Beware if you have allergies! After finding this place on Google maps, as it was close to some training I was doing, I was looking forward to having a fresh sandwich from Fidget & Bob. My colleague and I walked over on our lunch break and I saw the signs that said 'Let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements'. As a nut allergy sufferer I was pleased to see this! I ordered my food and told them about my allergy....they were hesitant, asked if it was serious and basically told me they wouldn't serve me as they couldn't guarantee my food would be nut free. All I wanted was a halloumi salad sandwich! I felt embarassed, frustrated and as there were no alternatives locally, my colleague and I had to drive somewhere else just to find something to eat. I question the cafes hygiene practices and will never be returning.

I tried Fidget and Bob for the first time today. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed my gluten free club classic sandwich. The place has a lovely, warm and local atmosphere. I'll be back again soon.

Family and disabled friendly, could maybe do with a second disabled accessible table but they've not the room anyway. Lovely food servings and great 3rd wave style coffee. Clearly they all know what they are doing, and a perfect place to stop in with free parking just 30 meters away.

Decent coffee shop, they sell healthy produce, cakes, doughnuts by pippin etc. They have seating outside, a single table inside with breakfast bar tables, and stools. Coffee is OK, the doughnuts are very good as you'd expect, you have to pre order your doughnuts, as delivery is on Saturday. There's limited visitor parking, plus there's a polite notice that you can only sit for 45 mins which means you can't relax for long.

Fantastic licensed neighborhood cafe/bar on Kennet Island, serving brunches, lunches and more. Helpful and cheery staff, USB charging points, good music, a wide range of fresh and locally sourced trad and modern dishes as well as craft beers, ciders and wines. We took home one of the oriental "ready meal" pot soups as well, and it was delicious. A welcome change from the alternatives (e.g. another Costa franchise), so get out there and support your local independent restaurants!

We’ve become regulars at Fidget & Bob over the past few months and for good reason. Their ‘Sausage & Egg O’Muffin’ beats anything else out there as does their selection of fresh sandwiches and pizzas. They also stock a great selection of local beers which I’ve been tucking into. Their fresh bread and pastries are all local and absolutely spectacular too. Shuet and Breege are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Very highly recommended.

I absolutely love it here, great food and really friendly and accommodating staff. We order from here often as our office is just round the corner, never had a bad order. Going to try everything on the new Christmas menu!

Great independent cafe in Kennet Island, perfect for a lunch stop whether driving (free parking) or cycling on the canal path. Either drop in, and its very COVID-securely setup, or use click and collect online and the food is always ready right on time and perfect as ordered. Pastrami sandwich + Carrot & Orange cake is especially recommended for a pit stop!

Very cozy cafe, that offers a great selection for breakfast/lunch options. Very high quality food. The egg muffin was excellent and so was there premium fruit juice bottle drink selection. The staff were very helpful and very kind. We were made to feel very welcome and were very pleased by both food and service.

One of the highlights of our trip to England! Aside from good food and coffee there was a lovely Irish woman (the owner?) who helped us with figuring out the bus schedule/app so we could get into London which we appreciated so much. Couldn’t recommend more we love Fidget and Bob <3 ALSO such a good price point

Called in on off chance, as I had travelled down from Doncaster for work Google mapped the address, went and ordered a plain ham sandwich a coffee and lemon drizzle cake. Absolutely gorgeous. Value for money Staff very helpful.

Absolutely incredible place, Fidget and Bob is hands down one of the best if not the best place for food and drink. Staff are very friendly and always happy to see you. No room for any improvement at all - food is cooked fresh & tastes delicious... This is a must go to place, if you are in the area!

Had a great time there. Was recommended by someone and certainly it didn’t disappoint. Great food, great atmosphere and certainly best service. We had a small issue with the fire alarm and they apologized and were happy to give us a free coffee for the inconvenience. Would certainly recommend.

Fabulous Fidget & Bob. All I've heard about is how fab the food is at Fidget & Bob from my hubby and his work mates that go there for lunch. Well I tried it for the first time today and its all true. Great staff, great food, great honest service. What's not to like!!!!

We walk the dogs here regularly for coffee, cakes, sandwhiches and other delicious treats. During lockdown they started stocking groceries so we're also able to get Oat Milk and local fresh bread and eggs - an absolute godsend for us in lockdown and now. Especially recommend the breakfast mushroom wrap or hangover sandwhich. The owners always go above and beyond - cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very nice chai latte and especially love the growing list of pressed fruit juices and the treats! (Try the almond crossaint, basque cheesecake and banana bread!!). Great vibe and drinks 😊

Been coming here for years so lucky to be my local cafe, the food is amazing! (Won Ton noodle soup is the best!) You won’t find a better cup of coffee & the cakes/doughnuts are always fresh and delicious. They also stock lots of locally sourced products which is great. The ladies who run the cafe are extremely friendly & welcoming! Check this place out :)

This is a friendly clean place to get a drink or a bite to eat, I had the bacon and egg o’ muffin which also come with two hash browns, very nice but a few points , the fried egg is cooked in a round ramekin, which makes it. Larger than the muffin , what really spoiled it for me was the cheap square orange cheese slices that were on it , it reminds me of the terrible stuff you get at Mac Donald’s, nasty, but it was hot and fresh , there were two young ladies sitting out side and they had toasted sandwiches which looked very nice

Love the place. - The coffee warms up the belly and the heart. - The food is tasty, filling and smells intoxicating. - The staff makes you want to pop in just to say hello. The only thing stopping me from going there every day is that they don't display calories for items on their menu. Fidget & Bob - have a look at this and I'll see you more often :)

Fidget & Bob is a totally dreamy place. The food is incredibly delicious (highlights for me are the frankenfurter panini and wonton dumpling soup!). Not only are they an independant, enriching their local area, but they're champions of supporting other Indies. Expect to find store cupboard delights from a range of local and indie vendors alongside F&B's own lovelies. To top it off the entire team are so welcoming and lovely. Perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner (try and make one of their pizza evenings!).

My favourite lunch in Reading. Never disappointed with the food (I think the chicken sriracha wrap is my favourite, but there’s so many close seconds!) and always good sweet treats. It’s small and relaxed, and the whole staff there are amazing and friendly. They’re also such huge supporters of the community - not only promoting and selling local produce and gifts, but also raising money for local charities. They’re an absolute asset to Reading :)

By far the best eatery I've ever made regular use of. The sandwiches are freshly made to order, and such quality ingredients. The Club and the BLT are particular favourites, and the limited editions always worth a try. I reckon local employers could boast "within walking distance of Fidget and Bobs" to attract staff.
