As a spa day it was okay. The restaurant/cafe is wonderful for food allergies and the spa treatment itself was great, but the layout isn't particularly relaxing - for example you have to walk through the gym in your robes for lunch, the ladies changing room for the spa day has no lock, and the 'spa day' facilities are quite basic. A lot of the facilities were also closed due to covid which is fair but would have been nice to know before booking. Overall, it was an okay experience but not wowed.

I decided to treat my daughter to a birthday pamper Spa day and a friend recommended Beechdown to me. The facilities are excellent, very clean and well laid out. We enjoyed a relaxing Pilates class, used ALL the steam rooms/sauna/igloo (yes an igloo!) and the lovely pool. We had the most fabulous massages too - such a treat. The staff seem motivated, very friendly and polite. The lunch (part of the package) was freshly cooked, very tasty, generous portions - I recommend the fruit smoothies! We shall definitely be back and have been offered a discount for our next visit which is a bonus! Well done Beechdown. :-)

Have just come back from a fantastic spa day at Beechdown. All of the staff in all areas were helpful and friendly, especially the young lady in the brasserie, who was fab! Our lunch was yummy and there were clean plates all round. The sauna/steam room part are not the biggest, but they are very nice and spotless. Our treatments were great and the staff again were brilliant. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend their spa day packages!

Genuinely don't understand all the rave reviews... came here on a Saturday with my mum and sister and really really wanted to like it but unfortunately it was very disappointing. To be clear, this is not a day spa in the sense that Nirvana in Wokingham is. This is a gym/leisure centre which has some spa facilities near the pool, a "relaxation" room which is literally just a room with a few chairs in it, and a treatment area. These are all spread out around the complex which has a loud gym in the middle complete with loud music and squash courts etc too. It's a bit strange walking around the pretty dingy corridors in your robe to get from A to B and walking past people not on spa days. Definitely kills any zen. The brasserie is not particularly luxurious or relaxing - it's more like a sports bar. The facilities like sauna, steam room, drench showers are very nicely maintained and modern. But the problem is there are only 4 heated loungers in the "sanctuary", not enough for everyone on a spa day. The facilities are also used by the members of the gym so while you're in there trying to relax quietly on a spa day, others are there chatting loudly on their phones or in big groups as they use the facilities after their exercise. We had mixed experiences with the treatments. 2/3 of us didnt enjoy our massages which we both described as being stroked for an hour rather than a massage. Neither of us were asked how the pressure was during the massage which just a basic thing that every masseusse normally asks. My mum did actually ask for firmer pressure anyway but made no difference. On the other hand my sister did really enjoy her massage so seems to be luck of the draw which therapist you get. I think this place needs to decide what it wants to be because it does not work being a gym/leisure centre and trying to do spa days at the same time as the two totally jar against each other and make for a really disappointing experince. We'd been looking forward to it for so long and it was such a let down. We will be going back to Nirvana instead next time for sure.

6 of us booked for a Spa day here, and we weren’t disappointed. Facilities were clean and well thought through, with little extras for our comfort. Food was lovely (hopefully vegan STP now has vegan ice cream) and lots of it and the wine was lovely. Back massage was really good. A great, fun day, brilliant value for money too. Thank you

I love coming to Beechdown Spa once a month for a full body massage. I find the therapist listens to exactly what I want, and uses just the right amount of pressure. The treatment rooms are lovely and clean and a extra nice touch is the heated blanket on the bed. It allows me to have abit of me time and get away from all the daily madness, heaven !

My partner and I went for a pamper spa day and were amazed at how much better it was than we expected! We love going to spas and have been to quite a few, but the amount of things to do was incredible! We got a welcome drink, played squash, did a yoga class, used the gym, had lunch and desert with a glass of wine (all included) had a great massage and then used the lovely spa facilities. We want to go back again for our anniversary. The staff were lovely and the environment was really pleasant. A great day!

A great place to go for a spa retreat with a friend. We had such a relaxing day. We were met with friendly faces and guided through our day. All of the facilities were beautiful and clean. The lunch portions were very generous and the free welcome drink was a lovely addition. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would love to return soon.

I would recommend the luxury spa day at Beechdown. My daughter and I visited for her birthday, the facilities were first class, pool and spa rooms excellent. Lunch time meals were brilliant, we chose the vegan options and I was very impressed with the efficiency of staff and quality of food. Finished off with the most amazing massage, honestly the best I have ever had, no hard sell of products just a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Beechdown team for a fabulous day.

Relaxing Spa Day! Very calm and relaxing, not too many people in the Day Spa area. Great to be able to use the tennis courts and other facilities. Good food.

Fabulous day spa. Lovely lunch with wine included. Nice outside dining area as well as indoor brasserie. Facilities are fantastic, so much to choose from. Shown arround on arrival which was nice, as we would have definitely have missed out otherwise!' Very clean, super friendly staff (Jo especially!) Highly recommended.

We have just come back from a Birthday spa day at Beechdown and overall had a lovely day, but we did have a few small gripes. Let’s start with the positives! * Lovely staff who treated us warmly from start to finish and made us feel very welcome, particularly in reception and the Brasserie! * Lots of great spa facilities to pick from including 2 saunas, 2 steam rooms, igloo and large pool. Very clean and well maintained facilities - we really enjoyed them all! I think the hot tub was my favourite! We loved the heated sun beds and wished there were more though. * Delicious food in the Brasserie that we could pre-order and lots of options to choose from! They also reserved us a table, at a time of our choice, so we could sit down straight away despite it being really busy. Now a few small gripes…. * The Brasserie is more like a sports bar and definitely doesn’t feel “zen”! We knew the facilities would be used by gym members, but we were sat beside a girl who was having a Zoom meeting, which was very loud and distracting. Definitely not a typical spa lunch and we got changed back out of our robes because it was very intimidating to walk into a room packed with remote workers and gym members when wearing a dressing gown! Perhaps a spa only section in the Brasserie would help this. * We planned to spend the afternoon by the pool and it started off a bit chaotic. A man had brought in a baby (Outside of family hour) and after some time, the receptionist came in to tell him he needed leave. This did not go down well and caused quite the argument, and he ended up being quite verbally abusive to another spa-goer! Not the spas fault at all, but pretty disruptive. * The main downfall of our visit was the loud aqua aerobics class that took place in the pool that no one had made us aware of. We were very surprised we weren’t told about this, given it had loud music and took up the whole of the pool, and we ended up going home, after not having a chance to swim. Overall we had a good day and enjoyed the facilities on offer and were made to feel very welcome; but would probably go to another spa if we wanted a full, relaxing spa day, rather than a gym with spa facilities attached.

I attended the spa today with my daughters as a treat. The staff at the spa and treatments were excellent. Unfortunately the Reception Staff at the main door to the Leisure Centre were not to the same cheery standard as the spa. I would suggest some customer service training for them.

I would highly recommend the Beechdown Beauty team. I head in regularly for both back or lava shell massages to help release tension. The spa area is well maintained and always super clean. Treatment rooms are comfortable and prices are super reasonable.

We had a lovely half of the day at this SPA. Couldn’t recommend it more, all the staff members were very welcoming and helpful, the lady serving lunch was brilliant and created positive atmosphere. All facilities were working, everything was very clean. It is fantastic for the price you pay! Will definitely be back!

I was given an Indulgence Day voucher for my birthday. From the moment you walk in the door, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Facilities were amazing, superb vegan lunch and where do I start with the massage/facial?? I wish I could remember the therapist's name (I was in such a relaxed state) I am an holistic therapist and I hope my clients are half as pleased with their treatments from me as I was with mine at Beechdown! I have recommended it to everyone and will treat myself to another day!

This is the second time I have had a spa day at Beechdown and it didn't disappoint. I booked the full spa day package for me and my daughter. We had a fantastic morning using the facilities, followed by a delicious lunch and then 2 hours of treatments - a full body massage and a facial. Compared to other spa days it's great value for money. I will be going again and I highly recommend it for value, quality of the food and drinks, facilities, atmosphere and treatments.

Beechdown was fabulous. 8 of us went on a Saturday, we played tennis had 2 course lunch, treatments and enjoyed the spa. All the staff were amazing -especially the bar staff and at Reception. There is a great selection of spa facilities and adult only area too. The relaxation room for our group was perfect place to chill and chat with the private changing rooms. We will definitely be back - Corinne

Beechdown is my favorite spa in Hampshire, it offers the most relaxing treatments with professional beauticians and such a friendly service. I have been for two spa days in the past six months, the food is wonderful and the spa overall is very relaxing. Some spas offer very simple facilities but Beechdown has everything you need from a jacuzzi, steam room, sunbed and foot spa plus more. I high recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, lovely day!

The team are always welcoming when you arrive for treatment, they remember your name and show real interest in you and what you have been doing. Treatments have always been completed with care and with great skill. They put you at ease and talk through all treatments and which types of products they are using and why. Having received treatments at other beauty spas it is clear that the team at Beechdown are always consistently good in all of the areas in which I have had the pleasure of sampling. The team should be congratulated on maintaining a professional and welcoming spa which has been enhanced by the upgrade of facilities over the last year.

What a great experience! From the moment we contacted the team at Beechdown, to the moment we left, the whole experience was perfect. I would like to mention Carole in particular for making every effort to arrange this treat. We recommend the Beechdown center to anyone who would like a relaxing spa day. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Spa day from start to finish, we were meet by happy reception staff and shown facilities. Took part in an exercise class which was great fun. Lunch was lovely. and the services was really good. Afternoon was all about treatments, back, neck, shoulder massage, facial, eye treatment and a pedicure, again great facilities, treatment and staff. Can't wait to return. Thank you

What a treat!!! I spent a very long time searching for a place to treat my fiance to a birthday spa day, and to be honest, this was the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, Jo greeted us with the warmest welcome. All of the facilities worked well and were noticeably clean and looked after. We opted for the luxury package which includes two treatments, and I'm so glad we did as they were both fab. The service from absolutely everyone we met was incredible. So friendly and welcoming. The only thing that let down the day very slightly was the lunch. Both dishes we had were very bland and almost tasteless. However, the rest of the experience excelled our expectations so it definitely isn't worth losing a start over. It was my first spa day, and my fiancée's third, and I already cannot wait to be back.

My friend and I had a spa day a few Fridays ago (her first time) I’ve been to a lot of spa days but have to say that Beechdown is way up there with one of the best. Since my last one there’s many years ago there’s soo many new things to do and the lunch deal and sun bed token is just perfect. I had a shoulder neck and back massage and my friend had a facial and we ended the day feeling absolutely amazing. Thanks to all the staff who made the day complete from start to finish, we will definitely be returning.

So impressed with this place. Went on Saturday to use the spa facilities and have a facial. The facilities were excellent, many more options than a lot of far more expensive spas. The lunch was delicious and generous and my facial was just perfect. All of the staff were so friendly and cheerful and couldn't do enough to help. We were a group of 8 and made to feel so welcome. Had a lovely relaxing day and will definitely return - Brilliant value for money and all round experience! Only grievance was having to use plastic bags to return towel and robe from an eco perspective but aside from that a faultless day. Highly recommend!

We had a really lovely day. The facilities were great, just a bit different to your average spa. The food at lunch was delicious. The staff were really friendly. The lady in the restaurant deserves a special mention, although I didn't get her name...we will definitely go again.
