My wife and I were looking for plastic storage boxes for beads. Naz the store manager helped us find where they were located and then checked stock when we found one we liked which was damaged. He came back with new stock and gifted us the old one which was to be thrown away. I can’t thank him enough for his time and pleasant demeanour. I will definitely visit again.

January 2023 curretly has a few Xmas bits reduced. Pretty much has everything you would need crafting, sewing, painting models. Lots of reasonably priced crafts kits for young children. Artists paints, canvas & easels. A whole department on sewing & knitting or making jewellery. Lots of things to choose or inspire u into making something

A large store catering for lots of crafts and hobbies. You will need time to look around it if it is your first visit. I find them to charge quite a lot for items. There is a store card you can obtain free

Very nice store, able to get everything I wanted, reasonably priced but husband would have liked to sit down whilst I was browsing!

I went to this store today as i was shopping in Staines, and asked customer service assistant for specific item, showed her photo from Hobby craft website, she straight away said they do not sell this in they store, i went home and tried to order online, but then it showed me there is 3 in stock for collection righ away at Staines. Fell angry because i do not want to pay for car park and waste fuel just to go Staines for one item which i could buy today.

This branch is MASSIVE!! Literally has pretty much everything one would need for arts, crafts, model making, baking, and more! Prices are very reasonable compared to other stockists as well. Staff are very friendly and informative, and the stock amount is breathtaking. Will definitely be coming here quite a few more times for model making parts and tools!

Has everything you need craft wise and customer service is excellent. It's only 4 stars as a number of items are very expensive but of good quality

Abysmal! I had to pay for parking, even though I'm disabled with a blue badge. It was a smaller store, so there were less choices. And to add insult to injury, I had to get change from the Hobbycraft store for the parking. The machine that took my money, took some of the money, then denied I had put it in, so I had to pay extra for nothing to get out of the car park!!! It's not fair. All-in-all I had a bloody disgusting and horrible trip. I will not be returning to this branch of Hobbycraft, even though it's less than half the distance, compared to the other store I've used before and will go back to. One unhappy, thieved from, very disgruntled customer!

Good selection of fabrics. We found everything we needed, plus a few impulse items. Several 3-for-2 sales items saved us quite a bit of money. Even though it was a very busy weekend we had convenient parking.

An Aladdin's cave for crafters. Look out for the offers, they're even better value. I love this shop. Just a shame you need to pay for parking every visit...

It's a Large Store with everything you could ever need and even some things you might not know you needed. I went there to look for a canvas and I found not only a large selection of canvases but many other interesting products ranging from model building kits(which were on sale for a decent price) to clay modeling tools and cake baking accessories.

Awesome store loads of awesome arts, crafts and stationary. They pretty much have everything you can think of for doing any projects or art. There are also some cool scientific experiments for kids and arty toys from them too.

Always well stocked, service is very slow at tills. You can usually see a number of staff walking around shop floor but only one on the till with a long queue.

Our first time here. It is a perfect store for buying the DIY stuff for home decor. Also you will find very good stuff for buying kids stationary items.

Found exactly what I wanted but as the lift didn't work I might have bought more if I'd been able to access the top floor.

Love this place, so many things to look at and when there you want to be creative and make something, draw, paint, write, bake or play. If you need anything arty then Hobbycraft will most likely have it.

Good selection of craft magazines, fabrics, sewing parts, paper crafts, seasonal craft eg Easter, Christmas etc. Suitable for young to old crafters. Points loyalty card available. Also accept nus discount card for students 10% off. Clean store, well laid out and usually enough staff available for serving. Staff always polite, although not particularly knowledgeable about sewing/certain crafts but that would be difficult due to the various number of crafts they stock supplies for.

Great shop that caters to most of the crafting hobbies from painting, knitting to making candles or wreaths. The staff are always lovely and knowledgeable about the various crafting areas. They also sometimes hold mini events or taster sessions.

Vast store, huge diverse range of hobbies and crafts, a great place to find/begin that new hobby. Helpful staff, disabled friendly too, inc. a dedicated lift to first floor.

I needed some card making supplies: Hobbycraft's website has a reasonable range but not so their Staines store. What little they do carry is relegated to a back wall display upstairs, dusty in places. I guess these particular craft lines just don't sell at the moment. They did however have the exact thing I came for! Overall, though, I was a bit disappointed: poor signage and a rather unimpressive selection of pens for example. They do seem to sell a lot of knitting wool however ...

Very good shop, got a massive Titanic model for my lovely nephew from USA. The sales person Vicki was absolutely amazing, very good and no doubt a future regional manager or CEO. Will return again.

Pretty great place, you can find almost everything you need for any project in here. I've always shopped for art equipment and fabrics, but I sometimes find the fabric range can be quite limited, especially when I'm looking for certain types of fabric like faux fur (short haird type).

Clean, tidy and not overcrowded. Some staff were more helpful than others. I had to ask three times if someone could help me find something. Twice I was told "in that area" even though I told them I didn't know what I was looking for. But eventually they did come and find it for me. But other than that it was all very pleasant, queue moved quickly and everyone was smiling which was nice.

I am really into crafts and I love this place. It's huge and has something for everybody. They even have a baking section! I usually go in to get supplies for a cutting machine (felt, vinyl, cardstock, etc) but I always end up buying other items like brownie mix 😅, beads, paint, toy stuffing, chalk, etc. Like I said before in hobbycraft you'll find something for everyone. The staff is great, super friendly and helpful. On the down side I didn't see a lift and the store has two levels, not sure if they have one in the back or if I just missed it.

Visited Hobbycraft today because I was interested in some acrylic painting ideas. A lovely lady called Veronica chatted to me, explained her experience off the media, plus helped me decide what I needed. Hobbycraft you are missing a trick here, you should set up tutorials with Veronica hosting them, in house or on line. Shes obviously passionate about crafts, helpful, enthusiastic, your lucky to have her.
