This place has gone downhill. Way overpriced. Thinking I'd get a freshly made bagel at 6:30 in morning, instead got a stale old bagel. Most likly leftover from day before. Skimpy is an understatement. Ordered a ham egg and cheese and got basically a bagel with cheese, melted to make look tempting. Way better bagel joints in the area than this.

Absolutely the best bagel shop. Bagels are the perfect mix of fluffy on the inside and chewy crust on the outside. They have all the best toppings and the best part is that they put them on both sides of the bagel. The breakfast egg sandwiches are really good. They are super quick despite the long lines. Cash only.

Great bagel store with countless combinations of bagels and all sorts of toppings. Some of the best around. They have a great selection of bagels and cream cheese (among other things, of course) so it’s always a delicious order!

Bagels were excellent - tried the jalapeño cheddar bagel and the super cinnamon. Both were fresh, soft, and excellent. This is our new go to bagel spot. Update: Our new go-to order is the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and French toast with walnut raisin, they are even better than our previous orders!

The bagels are great, but I wanted to shout out the wraps! Just had a custom wrap from here that was the perfect size, not too massive, and had the perfect balance of meat to cheese to veggies to dressing. Reasonably priced too. One tip - order ahead online for weekend mornings. I will be back many times in the future!

It's a good place but their online ordering is not always available. It's pretty frustrating. Also people are touching the food without gloves while preparing.

I grew up in Shrewsbury and was honestly proud that my town had the most legit bagel shop in Monmouth County. My brothers and I would ride our bikes there on Saturday mornings, stand in a massive line, and get the best food we’d eat all week. During high school I’d be driving like a bat out of hell knowing I had 5 minutes to be in home room, but I’d stop at Bagel Masters anyway. My trigonometry teacher would always be there and we’d have a laugh and both be late for school. (RBC is “flexible” when you know the right people, and stopping for a bagel is potentially a valid excuse for being late for home room bc they would never want any of us to be hungry.) Ever since Darren sold the business things have changed. There’s a focus on digital. Online ordering through an app. If you order in store you must give your phone number and they pull up your “bagel account” and then enter your order. I guess there’s a record of all my bagel eating now. But what I couldn’t figure out for a while was what had changed. I finally realized that the bagel recipes were changed. The bagels are smaller, chewier (I call this “undercooked”) and just not worthy of the previous Bagel Master’s iteration which literally had award winning bagels. It’s too bad this happened. I find myself driving a few extra minutes into Red Bank for bagels at bagel shops that have better bagels now. Bagel Station. Hot Bagels. Bagel Oven. And you don’t have to wait in a half hour line at those places so even with the extra driving it takes me less time to get a bagel.

Starting our shift on Medic Unit #1202 with a cancel at Complete Care of Shrewsbury, made a stop at a place we haven't been to since before COVID... Today's sandwich was Bacon, Egg, Cheese, Jalapenos on a toasted Rye Bagel with SPK!!! Fantastic tasting sandwich, fresh ingredients, eggs and bacon fried to perfection!!! It's a shame we made this stop at the end of the 8 week rotation...

As a long time customer there has never been a point where I was disappointed with the product. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Best bagels, and staff around!

I recently visited and I have to say, I was blown away! The bagels were some of the best I've ever had - fresh, chewy, and with the perfect amount of density. The variety of flavors and toppings was impressive too, with everything from classic plain to unique options.

Thank you very much Matt for the DELICIOUS bagels, and your effort for getting them delivered. We made pork roll,egg & cheese bagels this morning. Reminded us of breakfast at your place on the way to the shore. Bagelmasters is by far the best that we have found in all of NJ! You will not be disappointed ever....this place is consistent! I love Bagelmasters! Being from North Jersey I missed good bagels- but these are the best! They have a wide assortment of bagels, but also great sandwiches and wraps. I like how they ask you for your phone number so you get a text message when the food is ready. It is always very clean and efficient. Absolutely recommend.

If you want a REAL BAGEL SANDWICH--this the place to go. You can't go wrong. Their menu has plenty of fresh and delicious options. I always get the Philly cheese steak on whatever bagel I feel like that day and it's heaven in every bite. Comes with a little side of mac salad and sliver of pickle 😋👌Come here and you'll keep coming back. They're the best!

I Came In This Morning & Was Totally Shocked How Rude Your Staff Is ! The Cashier ( Blonde Haired Lady ) Was So Unfriendly , Rude , Didn’t Care How She Spoke ! Then Another Worker Passed Me to Ask the Lady Behind Me For Her Order , The Lady Said I Was First & The Man Said Oh Okay & Walked Away Without Even Asking Me What I Wanted To Order ! I’ve Never Been Treated Like This In Any Establishment !!!!!!! Please Get New Workers Who Actually Have Customer Service !

They never disappoint. Best bagels around! I always recommend them to EVERYONE. Once you have a bagelmaster bagel, everything else just does not compare.

Went to another store in this plaza..tried to pick something up real quick here.I Can't believe you can't walk in and order. They were locking the door 20 mins early, and the guy at the door was very matter of fact about it..as if you shouldn't expect a business to be open it actual hours listed on the door/website. He was very rude ! no mater too many other places to go..i wouldn't recommend this place

Used to like bagelmasters but then I got a large piece of a plastic wrapper in an egg on by pork roll egg and cheese then the next time I went in I saw a guy carrying bagels to the sandwich making area holding them up against his belly. Middle of summer and this guy is holding my bagel up against his sweaty belly. Think I’ve lost my appetite for the bagels from this place

Best bagels around! I'm located further north and if I know I'm somewhat in the area this is a MUST, always grab a great meal! I always get a dozen bagels to send my daughter in Arizona! That good, clean and always consistent.
