Service was a bit slow, the wait for the food seemed longer than normal, but the view and atmosphere were enjoyable.

Absolutely love, love, love this place!!💜🧡 The food is always delectable and the people that work there are a breath of fresh air. The views of the Mississippi River, Red Wing, eagles, hawks, ducks, boats and alot of interesting things to see are always great. Affordable for the quality and quantity for sure. The fries are handmade and addicting especially the fry sauce they make there as well. Ive actually ordered a few side orders of it for home. Secret recipe I was told. Its a bathroom -toilet is clean so is the sink. Well stocked. Highly recommend this place!

Don't go there by boat if you want to keep your prop. Lots of cement tables buried in water. Bathrooms not updated since the 60's. Warm beer, cold, raw food. Don't go there after dark if you don't want to get stabbed.

We were there for the reggae festival this past weekend... I had previously given this place 5 stars because we love this place.... Well, after a $25 per person cover charge which we were not aware of until we got there, and the promise of live reggae bands we arrived at 1145, music was supposed to start at 1200.... we left at 1615, and there was still no live music, I asked numerous times to speak to the manager who never showed. Food and drink were delicious as per usual. But $75 for just a DJ was absolutely extortionate! Very disappointing

Absolutely horrible! My Uncle and I sat down at the bar (waiting for my brother) and bartender never came to ask if we wanted anything. 5 to 10 min. until my brother arrived...sat there and waited while the bartender LOOKED at us like 3x!! Seemed like a great little dive if you're a local or it's busy boat season. Just as we got up to leave (because we actually wanted service) one of the patrons at the bar told the bartender..."there's some folks that want to meet you"..."oh, looks like they left"...really? Hopefully it was just an off day because they really sucked. We split and went to Bayside where Mindy actually gave us service even though she was taking care of the entire bar and restaurant.

I’d rate it higher if I could. The food was great. We had the Jerk Chicken and Steak wraps and they were fantastic. They came with awesome, crisp fries. Saving the best for last, our server was incredibly friendly with just the right amount of attention! We couldn’t have asked for more, although I believe my wife received more fries and I was a little jealous of that. It was a great random choice on our part.

Nothing fancy here, but the food is good, the service fine, the people pleasant. We came here because my husband had a hankering for a Friday night fish fry, and Harbor Bar's website said they did one. We sat inside. We started off with the cheese curds, which were awesome. Very light batter, the cheese perfectly hot for a pull and squeak. The sauce alongside was good, too. My husband's fish dinner was great--good amount of food. I had a jerk chicken salad. It was super-basic and yet the chicken was so flavorful, it satisfied.

The menu was pricey for the interior of the place you are dining at. Our server was also the bartender & cook even tho 3 other people were working, so it was no surprise our service was minimal. The worst tho was when hubs ordered a burger. Our server/bartender/cook asked him if he wanted it well done. Hubs said yes & server even repeated "well done?" to which hubs again said yes. The burger was completely raw from the very first bite. Needless to say, it was inedible, including that first bite! They did have amazing onion rings, however a bit on the pricey side for the serving size & it was very clear they were not at all happy that we'd ordered them.

Super cool place right on the Mississippi. We were skeptical at first because the bartender was slow to get to us but worth the wait. Cool dive/hipster bar vibe. Tons of outdoor seating including a row of recliners if you want to take a nap. Oh, simple but amazing burger! Looks like it will be a blast on weekends!

If you just want a place to throw back some drinks, you’ll probably have an OK time here, but it’s not much of a restaurant. The waiters were all very friendly and polite and the food was good, but the service was so slow it was surreal. There are also some issues that they should look into sooner rather than later, such as a fan running in the men’s room with no grate covering it, which seems quite dangerous, and the lack of any soap by the sink. All and all, if you’re camping and you’re looking for a “watering hole,” you could maybe consider this place. If you want to have a nice dining experience, look elsewhere.

I stopped here because I heard that they sprung for the fireworks show this year, and I think that was awesome! The location is ideal, and the service was ok - drinks were good. The food did take quite a while to arrive (given the time: about 3:00 on a Saturday). Since the drinks were pretty good I found myself not minding too much. What I take issue with was the interpretation of alfredo primavera. First of all, I've never had, or heard of alfredo that included sour cream. It simply doesn't. As for the primavera, the only vegetables were a few bell peppers - the only other identifiable vegetable was lettuce - also something I've never been exposed to before. I really think you have to examine how this particular selection is being prepared. You'll also see several of the noodles were burned; not sure how this could happen, I generally boil pasta then combine with the sauce. The blackened chicken was good.

This is truly a must see spot! If you're in the Red Wing area on a nice day, head across the river and spend some time at this jem. Tons of spots to enjoy the view across the river - and the Viking Mississippi if it's in town. The food's a bit hit or miss - we really enjoyed the jerk chicken & shrimp, but not the beans & rice. There's often live music to enjoy, so grab a beer and a picnic table and kick back.

This place was recommended by a friend. Very surprised...it was good. Definitely a Jamaican food theme with curry and jerk dishes. Had the jerk chicken and curried shrimp meals. Very good a flavors, but not a lot of heat (pepper). I was expecting more. Our server was very pleasant, took the time to talk a bit. I will be going back.

I absolutely loved the meal I got from here! I got the jerk chicken dinner and it came with a side of red beans and rice and some steamed vegetables (I think it was cabbage and broccoli, I don’t remember for sure if there was anything else). It was a little bit on the greasy side but the flavor overall was amazing! I also got the chicken tender appetizer for my kids because they don’t have a kids menu and those tasted really good too!

The food was very good. The dog-friendly outdoor seating was good, but the only shaded seating was far too close to a very loud band. It spooked our normally-very-friendly dog a bit. The server was very soft spoken, making it very hard for this deaf guy to interact with him (did I mention too loud band?) All told we would probably enjoy visiting again on a day without live music.

This place has really bad service, the music is too loud outside and the food is just ok. Not sure why I came back..keep your expectations low.

Best view of Red Wing from across the river. If I took another road trip, I would surely stop back here. Felt like a secluded hideaway! It's worth your time if you are in the area.

Good dinner of grilled jerk chicken, rice & beans with blend of vegetables w/cabbage, husband had deep fried cod. Friendly staff, family ok, large open patio overlooking Mississippi River..very scenic view of river and Red Wing across river.

Came for reggaefest and had a great time...I use to come here often but not too often these days...always so much drama n B.S. going on and full of drunk...no, trashed is a better word...underage kids. So I only come for events. I had a lot of fun at reggae fest...my only complaint was that it took bar tenders wayyyy to long to make drinks...I waited usually 15 minutes per drink at the outside bar. I watched a bartender as I patiently waited and she had made only 3 drinks in this time and another bartender was just standing around and watching and every once in a while he'd bother to help out. I don't know if this was not thr normal job and maybe they were just trying to help out but service was painfully slowwwww. It's a shame because had an experienced bar tender been thr...thr was serious $$ to be made. But the entertainment exceeded expectations.

Met Roxanne. What a wonderful lady! It was a gorgeous day but we couldn't stay long. Definitely looking forward to going back to eat.

I always love attending the reggae fest. How beautiful the scenery is outside. The vendors and staff OUTSIDE have always been a pleasure, however the staff inside the bar greatly need an etiquette class!!!

Had pulled pork sandwich. Lots of meat but pretty dry needed more sauce. Served with French fries that were not very good. No cole slaw either. Recommend skipping this on the menu.

The food was so delicious that I want to leave five stars. Try the cheese curds! Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't clean and the floor was littered with food and debris. We were there mid-day and noticed plenty of staff so we were curious about why nobody was cleaning things up.
