    Lovely little quaint pub in the middle of nowhere 😍 up a lane surrounded by gorgeous countryside. With parking. Outside seating, dog friendly water bowl by the door and staff come out to give treats checking with owners first of course which was a lovely touch. Serves food too.

    Excellent pub/restaurant. The Loughpool has been a great place to go since I was old enough to go to the pub - some 50 years ago! Whilst it's changed hands and changed layout the new owners have made it feel cared for and welcoming.

    Took a friend out for her 70th Birthday this evening. Without doubt one of the most splendid meals we have had in a very long time. We had mains and deserts and the flavours were outstanding. With hindsight my only regret is we didn't try a starter too ! The restaurant was busy but also very peaceful and tranquil allowing us to enjoy great conversation whilst dining, something that can be challenging at other venues. It was just the perfect evening out ! Highly recommend !

    We had our annual Christmas bookclub supper here last night The Loughpool was decorated absolutely beautifully and the wood burner was burning warmly. The food was superb and delicious and the staff looked after us really well. Nothing was too much trouble despite having several parties to look after. We had a really lovely evening and we couldn't recommend it more highly.

    A very friendly welcome to us and our dog. Absolutely delicious 3 course lunch. Very good value. Delicious local bottled cider went down a treat. Can't recommend highly enough.

    I booked a table for lunch 3 weeks in advance asking to be seated in the main body of the bar near the fire. We were given the alcove behind the fire that was cold and smelled damp from logs stored next to table. A disappointing experience for my guests. Food as always was good.

    Went out here for a Christmas meal with friends. Divine food, really well cooked. I was totally stuffed after 3 courses. Could have done with Santa's big trousers 🤣

    Really excellent food. Plenty of innovation, great local ingredients and generous portions too. A real gem of a place. Hidden away and not open at weekends it takes some planning to visit but the results are worth it.

    We visited a few days ago. Lovely warm atmosphere, friendly welcome, great service and amazing food. Our party had the beef pie, chicken pie, fish cake and mussels. Would definitely recommend and return!

    What a lovely spot! It looks like a medieval farm house from the outside and a pub from the inside. However, the menu is great, and the food lives up to the descriptions on the menu. Good, friendly service.

    Lovely location and nice garden in the Herefordshire countryside, near it villages give access to the river wye. Best eat in the Bar, nice food and cosy fire in the winter

    Absolutely first class could not fault are meals in any shape or form well worth a visit ,staff very friendly and polite without being in your face . Highly recommend as I'm hard to please ,but loughpool ticked all my boxes

    Been in April 22 on our Easter break weekend. Stopped at this wonderful hidden restaurant/pub for a family lunch, which had the highest rating and I would definitely recommend this place if you in the area. The food was outstanding. The place is very cute and cosy, In a very quite area. Make sure you book ahead as it was very hard to get get booking there. Too popular.

    A lovely pub, food was excellent, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Staff made us feel like regulars despite it being a first visit. A great place for a catch up with friends. Would definitely return and recommend.
