Lovely place to stop if cycling / walking down the Strawberry Line. There is a cafe run by very friendly volunteers serving hot drinks, snacks and ice cream. The coffee cake was pretty good! The seats are carriages that form part of the train in the station. There is also an interesting display in the old Grade 2 listed station building. Definitely worth a stop if passing through to assist with contributions to keep this excellent station in use.

Proper hidden gem! Lovely volunteers that are very knowledgeable about the history of the station. Make sure you try the cake.

What a pretty place to come across, it's a shame it wasn't open (we'll have to come back). Nearly missed it while on the 🍓 line , Shame there's isn't a sign for those who don't know the area

Wonderful place.so full of history. Two gentleman that were on were fantastic telling me my partner and his dad the history. Brought some fantastic railway memorabilia. A great stop off if using the strawberry line.

Very well done preserved railway. Short ride behind a classic class 31 diesel. Lots to look at, and all for a reasonable price.

Obviously a lot of time and care has gone into this place. Ran by volunteers it is a hub of knowledge. Well worth a visit.

We've walked past on the strawberry line many times and today went in for drinks and snacks. Very accommodating, getting tubs of toys for our young kids - playing with a train set while sitting in a train carriage having snacks!

Great place for a short visit. It's a lovely little vinyette of the lost stations on the Strawberry Line.

We really loved this place (2 adults, grandparents, 2 kids aged 7 and 5). The volunteers were lovely to the kids and us. Got a toy track out for them to build and play with! Chatted to us and spent time being friendly and helpful. Lovely hot drinks and cake :-) Very informal and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of great memorabilia and factual info for train enthusiasts! Would definitely return!
