Just returned from using this gym for the last time. The Gym owner accused me of THEFT because I forgot to check in on my MoveGB app immediately on entering the gym. Outrageous as I pay a flat fee for my membership so the idea that this constitutes theft is both offensive in my opinion, and implausible. Whilst the gym itself is reasonably well equipped, especially with weights, it doesn't have many cardio machines, only has 2 fairly clapped out rowers so if you're looking for cardio equipment I would suggest finding an alternative gym. It's always pretty empty which means equipment is always available. Unfortunately my experiences with the owner have been very negative in my experience he has been incredibly rude, unwelcoming and intimidating. As a MoveGB member I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. The customer service I experienced there was pretty awful and having previously been a personal shopper for one of the of the most exclusive UK department stores with clients including royalty and premiership footballers I feel I can legitimately comment on what constitutes good customer service. Be prepared to be photographed and filmed and then immediately plastered all over Instagram without any prior consultation let alone consent- rather annoying when you're sweating away, trying to get on with a workout and there's an iPhone filming you for Instagram Stories #intrusive..much? There are no reception staff so when you turn up for the first time you have no clue who to speak to and where to go as nobody is around to welcome you or check you in. If you're a MoveGB/ ClassPass etc member. I made the honest mistake of forgetting to check in on 3 occasions (by the end of the working day I tend to be pretty forgetful!)...After an unfriendly reminder from the owner, I immediately apologised and did so, however on the third occasion he persistently accused me of theft. I'm not the only person to have been put off; members and personal trainers who've run some really good classes have all left. Up to you if you want to use this gym...as I said it's always empty so no queuing for equipment and if you don't ever have to deal with the owner you should be ok there. However it feels like the gym is operating on very cheap model of skeleton staff and rickety equipment...plus zero customer service.

Easily the best gym in Bristol. Super super versatile with a huge amount of kit so you can train however you would like. Lots of space and multiples of all the kit so you're rarely waiting to use something, and a massive range of classes too if that's your thing. Well worth the trip out!

It's a good gym with a very good variety of equipment but to be a little critical the quality of some of the equipment is poor, for me the barbells are just too cheap to do any complex movments and olympic platforms were not great. I think it's a quantity over quality situation. So for personal reasons that's why I've given three stars.

Having recently joined here, I can't praise enough 1. Different types of membership, meaning there's something for everyone 2. The sheer amount of space. So much more than my old gym, and it never feels overrun or too crowded 3. Staff are incredibly pleasant, welcoming and helpful which makes the whole trip nicer 4. Great range of gear to use, so workouts can be tailored So far, I am very impressed and am looking forward to the Clifton branch opening

I have been going this gym for around a year and it has changed my entire perception on fitness. After years of dotting around cheap faceless corporation gyms, I have found Bpro to be both motivating and homely. The atmosphere among members and staff is second to none and the whole place has a family feel. The classes and group training are so good you really just need to turn up and you get fit! would highly recommend to anyone thinking about joining. 10/10

Fantastic facility with a great atmosphere and buzz. Lots of space and great variety of equipment & classes. Trainers all seem very friendly and knowledgable. Love the tribal class - nothing like it in Bristol if you want a blow out. Trumps Blaze (David Lloyd equivalent) all day.

Top facility!! 2 rooms with quality equipment to use. By far the largest training space in Bristol with new equipment!

Great gym with lots of classes and Personal Training on offer. There is a Cafe and outside space along with plenty of parking. Friendly staff, Charlene is so encouraging and makes everyone feel at ease. The Ladies Bootcamp is a particular favourite of mine which runs as a six week course at really flexible times which is great for me as a working mum. Keep up the good work guys.

😠 I recently had the unfortunate experience of joining Bannatyne Gym and Health Club, and it has been nothing short of a disaster. The facilities are in dire need of maintenance and updating. The swimming pool is freezing, the jacuzzi is lukewarm at best, and the sauna isn't even hot enough to provide...

😐 As I was here for an early morning meeting I'm not sure I saw this venue at its best. The reception staff although efficient weren't at all friendly. The general atmosphere wasn't relaxed even in the cafe, which is very large (maybe that's part of the problem) with few people in it, yet it was noisy...

🫤 Good atmosphere, overall good place and equipment. It is such a shame the standards of cleanliness is very low. I have been in the gym over a year and they clean the toilets only once a week, it usually stinks and the state of air conditioning filtering and refreshing the air is rather concerning. P...
