Fantastic meal had by all! Me and my family were visiting the area, we are so pleased we stopped here for dinner, compliments to the chef, my steak was perfect! And the home made chips were the best I’d had! (Sorry mum) the host makes you feel very welcome, it’s just how a pub should be! We will be back!

We phoned on a rainy Sunday afternoon and we're accomdated in the dining room. The owner greeted us, was very pleasant and interested in us. We ordered Sunday dinner, 2 roast beef and 1 roast Pork. All of the meals were superb. Home cooked food piping hot, great quality ingredients. Would definately recommend, and would visit again.

Outstanding food! Honestly one of the best roasts I've ever had. Steak night is also incredible. Warm friendly greetings every time. Interior is warm, cozy, traditional pub vibe. Outside is a little yard with comfy sheds kitted out with tvs, stoves, etc. I'm always so proud to recommend this pub it's a true jewel of Yatton.

Had an excellent Sunday roast lunch. Perfectly prepared, with generous portion and lots of crackling. Veg cooked to perfection...not overcooked or soggy. Warm pleasant vibe, and friendly service.

A great pub that gets me away from the hotel. The staff are friendly the beer (Fallen Tree) is great and the food (Steak Night) was so well cooked (medium rare) and very tasty.. Highly recommended and I look forward to my next visit.

Absolutely amazing food 10/10⭐, drinks were perfect. Great service and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere + great outdoor seating and cover outdoor seating. Clean facilities.

Not a great experience.... Heard really great things about this place, especially the food so decided to try it as it's on our doorstep pretty much. Phoned up to book a table for two, they fitted us in fine..... Got there at allocated time, absolutely ZERO organisation and were shown to a small dirty table with 1 chair, said chair was broken and very dangerous, so I fixed it myself. We both ordered Rare steak and waited approx 40 minutes for them, steak arrived medium rare with a stack of oily mushrooms on top... The steaks had a layer of char on them and was were horrible.... This wasn't the char cooked into the steak by the way, as I could remove it in bits from the top, it was char stuck to it from previous cooks on the griddle..... The whole thing left a horrible taste in our mouths. I went to say we wouldn't be eating them and the "cook" then gets very defensive and says "that's how they're supposed to be".... not being funny, but I know how to cook a steak and clean a griddle.... After saying its clearly the griddle being dirty, she then back tracks and says "actually, yeah, the griddle has taken a beating this evening"..... Fair play to the lady owner though, she comped our drinks with no fuss, even after I offered to pay for them.... I sincerely hope they get another top class chef through the doors and soon, as they'll not get very far with this particular "chef/cook".... We will give it another try when and if they get a great chef, but unfortunately not before. Sorry for the negative review, but I have to tell it like it is.... and people should also be made aware that the previous chef has now left and the food is nowhere near what it was....

Amazing place, friendly people, and the food is to die for! Literally the best steak I have ever had! And nothing was to much for the guy that was serving us, told us about the place and always making sure we had what we needed. Will be making this my new regular for sure.

Wonderful customer service. Food was stunning and nice quiet area to talk with family. I would highly recommend to all who want an authentic experience and nice time. Friendly atmosphere too

My first visit. Really nice inside. Ok from outside, but so good inside. Good atmosphere, nice food. The carpark is a short walk, but no bother. We were well looked after by the pleasant staff. We will return.

My partner and I were in the area and googled pubs and decided on this one, we were not disappointed. I had a “small” lasagne, salad and garlic bread, my partner had “small” pie, mash and peas, I say small because the portions were huge! So tasty, proper home cooked food. The two ladies serving were very welcoming and friendly, I also thought the cost of the drinks was very reasonable, we will be back, thank you

We came fo stay with our daughter and her husband for a long weekend. They had booked us in for a meal Thursday evening. The steak and ale pie was the best I had ever eaten . We were so impressed with the food we booked Sunday lunch - couldnt fault the meal. Again amazing ! We will definitely be back !! Thank you.

Great village pub in an historic old building. Parking is down the road with a difficult walk down side of main road.
