Beautiful, well-kept beach in a sleepy 60s private themed town. The beach is HUGE with plenty of space to relax. It even has a concession stand (actually cheap!!!) and bathrooms open from 10am to 5PM. If you're looking for something quiet, not too crowded, and definitely beautiful, this is the place for you. Fair warning: all of the restaurants in town close earlier than you'd expect for a beach town.

Beautiful beach! Parking is not a hassle, and paying was quite easy and accessible. We got here just before the sun set. The views of the sunsets are marvelous! Small shells in right near the sand and water. Sadly, I did not get to see any sand sculptures because I thought it was located throughout the beach? Is it in a specific date and time? There is not enough information for the sand sculptures. The Florida waters was warm for the time of the day! You can still catch the warm water in the afternoon even when there is no sun!

The beach 🌊 looks clean, is beautiful, and has a lot of shells around!! Water is calm and clear. Don't forget your umbrella ⛱️ and chairs to spend the day relaxed!! If you need ice, water, or anything else, the supermarket across the street from the beach πŸ˜€ Don't miss the beautiful sunsets 😍

Stunning sunset views with white sand and blue water. Sunsets here are gorgeous and one of our go to place to watch sunsets. Beach is so clean and have rentals available till 5pm. Easily accessible from parking and never crowded like other beaches. Note: Restrooms near the parking will be closed after 4pm so be prepared.

One of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset! The clear blue waters during the day are great for relaxation in the salty air! This is more of a local beach feel as it's never as crowded as the more touristy beaches north and south of here.

Ive came down here for 15 years now every summer I come to this beach and tho it is very wide, it is so beautiful. The best views. And the sand is so soft. They have chairs and umbrellas to rent on site as well. Which is such a good idea. Very clean and safe. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is an expensive therapy, but it works for me and is the only place I can completely be myself and at peace. If you were here, you'd be home by now.

Very clean, with bright white sand, beautiful water, and views of the ocean. My family brought me to go see the Sandcastle building competition. The creations were unique, each different from another all hosting around the theme of time. They had a huge stage which wasn't all the way put together yet, but seemed like that would be fun after dark. They also held a boatload of vendors and food trucks parked right on the beach. After all that walking the sausage and peppers are what got me!! All in all, it was a great time. Make sure to bring your sunscreen!

We really like this beach mainly because the water is calm and there is so much sand and room to set up for the day, we have never felt cramped or that people are all on top of us. Let me get the ONE negative part out of the way... The parking is terrible and sometimes very expensive. This is the only negative thing about this beach. If you like getting to the beach first thing in the morning, there should be no issues finding parking in one of the paid parking areas. We like to go in the afternoon and stay there for the sunsets... They are beautiful. A lot of locals and tourist show up at sunset to take photos and they might not care that you are there relaxing and also wanting to see the sunset, so they stand in front of you.

Beautiful and family friendly beach with nice and clear water. Perfect water temperature too; you’ll want to stay in for hours. It’s a narrow strip so it doesn’t get crowded (we came on a Sunday). There’s paid parking right by the pavilion (and toilets) but there’s not many spaces so you have to arrive early or be lucky. Would highly recommend.

Great beach! Clean, lots of area to spread out, chair and umbrella rentals if needed. Very walkable and lots of shells to collect. Nearby refreshments and public parking. A great day at the beach alone to get away or with family and friends to enjoy.

First beach I have ever been to in Tampa. It's was absolutely beautiful. It a little bit of a hike to the beach, but it had a place to get drinks where you park. It wasn't crowded at all, had a great experience and would definitely go back.

This beach is what makes Florida our beautiful state. Treasure Island Beach is well kept, has a walkable winding sidewalk for bikes or roller blades. There is a public parking lot; scan for SUP boards and be on your way to the water. There's a huge slide and pirate ship. The sunsets are stunningly beautiful and every day is unique. We recently stayed at a motel along this beach and could watch all the work that goes on keeping it as beautiful as it can be. We saw Dolphin during sunsets. Treasure Island Beach has mature barriers of greenery, Sea Oats and Mangroves that will surely help us during our Hurricane season. It's beautiful and has a very large sand landscape. We love going here and I'm sure all the tourists are in awe!!

Very calm water, nice beach, and just a stones throw away from the beach bar. Beautiful sunsets, wind breakers provided with chairs to sit in . Romantic

Treasure Island is one of our favorite Gulf Coast beaches. There is fun for adults and kids, bars and restaurants, and a long, windy sidewalk for exercise and for letting our dog get his workout in too. No dogs on the beach though. Water is always clear here and the beach is massive so you never feel crammed in - plenty of room for everyone. Also when we are here around the holidays (December), the sand sculptures will be up and they are always awesome.

Gorgeous beach. The walk down was easy we entered at the 17th street access point, which has two stairways right on to the beach. It was really clean no garbage. The sand is so nice and white. The water is just beautiful and it wasn't deep at all. My only complaint is parking is ABSOLUTELY horrible you will spend quite some time looking and the public parking fee is crazy (public holiday)so be prepared.

We went at dusk to watch the sunset it was beautiful. Lots of pretty shells. The only downside is that the bathrooms close at 530?!! That's kinda ridiculous since the beach is open until 10 I think.. So 4/5 for me

Love Treasure Island beach. So much to do in the area. Big water slide and pirate ship. Matted walk 3/4 of the way to the water making coolers and wagons easy to bring out through the sand. Beach is mostly clean, very large and spacious. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

This is another lovely beach that is well maintained and beautiful. With white sands and emerald green waters this place is a tourist trap. The facilities include an outdoor shower to clean off sand, snacks, and clean restrooms. However the restrooms close at 4 pm. The parking for this beach is $2 an hour but lots of spots to park! This beach also has sand sculptures that are truly breathtaking and unique.

The best beach I've been to. Great atmosphere and stores nearby. I enjoyed the sunset as well. You can't go wrong with that and perfect weather.

Beautiful beach with a nice walkway to nearby restaurants. The parking is limited and crowded. You will need to download the Parkmobile app to pay to park in the Tampa bay areas.

This is one of my favorite beaches. It stretches for miles, and is really wide. Plenty of space for any activity. Sunsets are different every day, depending on the cloud formation. Perfect for fishing, walking, paddle boarding, and just relaxing. Everything has to be removed from the beach overnight. There is a beach rental for umbrellas, chairs and cabanas.

This is one of my favorite go to beaches in the Saint Pete area. This beach is a nice in between spot as it’s not too busy but it’s also not entirely deserted. There are plenty of food and snack store options to choose from in the area as well as family activities. Parking can be a challenge on busier days and especially on the weekends so I highly recommend getting there early on those particular days.

Behold, dear reader, the unparalleled beauty of Sunset Beach in Florida. From the moment I set foot on the warm sands, I was transported to a world of sublime tranquility. The gentle lull of the waves, as they danced upon the shore, provided a most soothing melody to my ears. The warm sun upon my skin, coupled with the gentle sea breeze, was a balm to my soul. The beach itself was a sight to behold, with its pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. The stunning vista of the horizon, as the sun descended below it, was nothing short of breathtaking. The colors of the sunset, with their vibrant hues of red, orange, and pink, painted the sky in a magnificent tapestry of beauty. But Sunset Beach was not merely a feast for the senses, it was also a hub of activity, with a wide array of water sports and activities to enjoy. Whether one seeks to swim, surf, or simply bask in the sun, Sunset Beach has something for everyone. In conclusion, I must proclaim that Sunset Beach in Florida is a true gem, a place of unrivaled beauty and endless possibilities. I implore all those who seek a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life to pay a visit to this wondrous locale.

Beautiful waters and soft white sand. Almost as clean as Clearwater beach. We took a trip and it wasn't badly crowded. Pets under 30lbs are allowed on the beach on a leash, of course. They have canopies and umbrellas as well as lounges to rent for a reasonable price. Also bathrooms and a snack depot is available.

Beautiful beach. We rented umbrellas at $20 each for the entire day. The water is a warm 86Β° in July, but it still felt refreshing if you went into the deeper water. The beach was clean and not too crowded.

It was so nice. The water was warm and the seaweed blob didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. It was a little more than normal but not massively noticeable.

We got there early, at 6:47 am shortly after sunrise. Beautiful weather, awesome weather and water was nice!! Schools of red fish and we even saw some dolphins. Oh, and a stingray which quickly swam away. Great beach goers, too.

Gorgeous beach and water! Water is warm and looks like the Caribbean with white sugar sand!! Walk from the parking area to beach is long so beware if bringing a stroller or lots of items. Main beach parking fills up fast so come early (like 10 am or before)!

  • 3/5 Christine C. 1 year ago on Google
The parking here is very limited and metered by the hour. Sugar sand beach. I gave a low rating because they closed the bathrooms at 4 pm, so that leaves two options pee in the water or leave. The parking lot was still full when I left at sunsent.....

This is life! One of the most beautiful beaches in Florida with a great park quality. Paved, curvy boardwalk makes for great walks from 104th to 117th avenues. Public restrooms with running water. Beach rentals (umbrellas, floating, etc) available, snack bar, and playground. This area boasts a wide dune conservation area between Gulf Blvd and the beach, thus be prepared for a longer walk to the water. Beach bars and restaurants with live music are accessible from the boardwalk (which also includes ample places to pop a squat while enjoying the sights).

Great beach area! Nice, wide, sandy shore that has packed sand and easy walking. Smattering array of sandbar restaurants and bars, along with some souvenir spots dot the area. Paid public parking available. This weekend was the kite festival and it was a fun event and the weather was perfect.
