Had my first appointment with them today and it was a great experience. All of the staff was super friendly and professional. I appreciate that they are still masking as well. I have twitchy eyes but we were still able to get all the imaging done quickly. Overall a thoroughly great experience and would love to come back again.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Jensen’s for many years. I’m beyond satisfied. As a healthcare provider myself, I recognize good care, competence and a supporting team that works well together. Dr Jensen and his (and now hers with his daughter joining the practice!) team are just plain the best option for you and your eye care. They have always been prompt and accommodating and super kind. I can’t recommend them enough. If you go to them, you will SEE what I mean! (Pun intended)

Dr. Jensen and his wonderful staff have been caring for my eye health for over 20 years, and I can't imagine switching - I live in Kirkland now and still go there! Dr. Jensen is just a genuinely good and caring man, in addition to being extremely respected by his peers.

We recently moved to the area, and I’m thrilled to have found an excellent place for my vision needs. The team was prompt and professional - expertly explaining the results of the exam and extremely helpful while I selected frames for new glasses. And I especially appreciated the kindness of all in making me feel welcome in their office; the optometrists, opticians and office staff were super friendly. Highly recommend!

This team of doctors is amazing, so very thorough and kind. Explained everything to me, it was fascinating to learn about my eyes and see the microscope pics and all that stuff! They have upgraded technology and equipment here, and have this wonderful replacement for the puff of air we all hate so much. They explained my benefits to me and how we were going to maximize utilization of those, as well as provided options for me now. I will definitely be back to this location. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the office staff were as just as friendly and professional as the doctors. This is also a family business, for several generations, which is a plus and should make anyone choose them over others!

Coming here was a great experience, from the moment I reached someone on the phone to the moment I walked out. My dad was seen here on March 14, 2022 at 5:00 Front desk ladies were SO kind and helpful. The doctors were so great at explaining everything they were doing as well as results. They went into detail and answered all the questions we had. I thank them for making us feel at home and for treating us with kindness.

Having not had my eyes checked in about two years I was expecting I would need a lot of tests done. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and welcomed into the clinic. In a matter of 5 minutes I had my insurance ran, had two tests done, and was then waiting on the doctor. After about 1 minute of waiting in the room the doctor entered, she was very friendly and very personable. We discussed the type of vision problems I have and ran about 3 more tests, this whole process took about 5-10 minutes. After those tests she came to a conclusion and typed out my prescription. And walked me to the main office/ display room. Once there I was offered to look at and try on frames, I was kindly helped by one of the assistants to find the best frames for me. This whole process was the fastest and easiest eye examine Ive ever had. I also should note the clinic was EXTREMELY clean, and everyone was very kind. I would give this place 5/5 stars and recommend it to everyone I know who needs eye care.

Have been dealing with strange light sensitivity, floaters, blurry vision, and dry eye. Working with Dr. Jenson has brought me not only relief, but peace of mind. I am slowly seeing improvements and look forward to the progression of healing all of my eye issues. Dr. Jenson's caring attitude and interest in his craft make me very comfortable with putting my eye health in his hands. Especially after going through 4 other eye doctor's who stated they weren't sure what was wrong.

Staff needs more training. When I made my appt I asked if they work with my insurance and told me they do. Took time off work for the appt only to find out they don’t work with my insurance.

This was a wonderful experience. The staff was so nice and really helpful. Dr. Alison Jensen is absolutely wonderful and really patient. She answered all of my questions and gave me ideas for preventative care. The office's technology is advanced and fascinating. I really felt heard and cared for. I could go on forever about how amazing this was but if you are in need of vision care this is the place.

I am so grateful to Renton Vision Source for offering emergency eye exams. One of my eyes was having issues focusing, it was red, and I was experiencing pain. Dr. Paul Jensen was able to meet me after hours to take a look and get me all sorted out. Turns out some unknown object had cut my eye! The next morning I met with Dr. Alison Jensen for a follow up to ensure the medication was working and I was healing well. Everyone I interacted with was super nice and helpful, and both doctors were caring, knowledgeable, and put my mind at ease.

Dr. Alison Jensen is tuned in to what you needs are, including asking & answering questions. I like a somewhat different type of prescription than most, and she immediately understood that and was able to assure me that it was an equally healthy alternative to the usual. She went through my retina scans with me in detail, showing me the meaning of the parts of the images and what follow-up should be done. I was able to get an appointment quite quickly, and my insurance is accepted.

I called with an emergency. The office staff took my information and my description of the problem and said they'd call back within an hour. They called back within 15 minutes and said the doctor wanted me to come in same day and set up a time for me, even though that left them double booked. They warned me I may need to wait longer, since I was double booked, but honestly I've waited much longer for regular visits. I think I waited 10 minutes to see the assistant who took some additional information and 10 after that for the doctor. Not once was I treated like this was a rush, or that they were in a hurry to get me out to get to their regularly scheduled patients. While I ended up not having the condition I was worried about. The doctor was reassuring that I made the right choice to come in and to call right away if something happened again. Even after knowing it was not an emergency, she thoroughly explained and answered all of my questions. I am beyond impressed and unreservedly recommended them.

I've been coming to Renton Vision Source for over 20 years. The staff is incredibly helpful and Drs Paul and Allison are great optometrists. I highly recommend them.
