100% Recommend this place! We've been needing a great sushi place closer to us for a while now, and happy that one that is amazing has arrived. 1st off, know it's a local Veteran Owned/Operated place, 2nd, know that it's delicious and the service is top notch! Atmosphere: It's a small place, but just plan in advance for either wait or call ahead to find out if you're planning on coming during a peak time. Seating is comfortable and decor is nice. Parking in that strip mall area is always a bit strange, but nothing to deter you from trying it. Has big enough spaces nearby for trailers and such if needed. Service: Eddie & his crew are simply amazing. They take the time to chat with you, make sure you're taken care of, and deliver food & drink promptly. Food: My wife and I are sushi snobs, to put it lightly, and we can both say that the freshness of all of the fish we tried were all just simply amazing. You can see in the photos that we tried quite the assortment too! We loved every bit of it and can't wait to be back. Price/Value: I would say it's priced right in line with any other sushi place we've been to that we've liked. Would we return is the ultimate question: Absolutely without a doubt, YES we would!

This place deserves every single star of five. We enjoyed our dinner with my wife. The rolls were flavorful, salmon cuts probably one of the best in our area. The chef, who is Japanese (another good point for a Japanese restaurant) stops by every customer and have a shot talk making sure we are enjoy the food. He also shared that they use Japanese rice and cut fresh salmon every day. Definitely recommend the place

The food is always fresh and delicious. The community atmosphere reminds me of a small family owned restaurant i worked at. As people leave, you will hear Eddie wishing them well, as well as the patrons wishing them well.

The service, food & atmosphere are wonderful! We were greeted as we walked in, spacious ample seating and they have outdoor seating as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive, clean and neat tables. Our orders came out pretty quick despite being lunch rush our.

We love the sushi here!!! We've dinned in and taken it to go and both ways it's absolutely fantastic!! The owner is super friendly too and we love chatting it up with him. When we were there last night, he was bbqing some pork chops and spare ribs. He gave everyone a generous sample and it was bomb. Highly recommend! We've tried the sushi burrito, Vegas roll, Avocado Roll, spider roll, and more! All of it is delicious and we are so excited for this option in battleground

I went there a month ago with my girlfriends for lunch. I got House Roll and shrimp fried rice, both were very very good. The House Roll was awesome. It was crispy outside but soft inside. The shrimp rice is very different from other fried rice that I had in the past (in a good way). The owner told me he had tried about 20 times to get to the perfection. We also got Sashimi to share as a table. The fish is very fresh and each slice is big and thick. My husband and I are already talking about having a date night there next month!

This place is the BEST for literally the most phenomenal sushi in town..The atmosphere is friendly and family friendly. Pricilla the server, and Eddie the owner made this experience memorable. The presentation and quality of food were over the top perfect. Eddie came over and personally introduced us (served our country in the Marine Corps) This is definitely a restaurant I will come back to and refer!

I had the pleasure of visiting Gen Sushi for the third time, and once again, it did not disappoint. The quality of the sushi was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The seating area is a bit cramped, but the cozy atmosphere makes up for it. There is also outdoor seating available, which is perfect for those who prefer more space. The parking can be a bit tight, but it's worth it for the delicious food. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the house roll, which was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. The combination of avocado, cream cheese, and imitation crab was absolutely divine, and the spicy and eel sauces added the perfect amount of kick. The sesame seeds added a delightful crunch, making it a truly delectable dish. The Godzilla roll was also exceptional. The combination of avocado, spicy tuna, albacore tuna, and crab salad was a perfect match. The spicy sauce, eel sauce, tobiko, green onion, sriracha, and sesame seeds added layers of flavor that kept me wanting more. And the best part? It wasn't too spicy! The Calamari appetizer was a new addition to the menu, and I have to say, it was a pleasant surprise. The seasoning was a bit unusual, but once I dipped it into the spicy mayo, it was a perfect combination. Overall, my experience at Gen Sushi was amazing. The prices were reasonable, the service was great, and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a delicious sushi experience.

Very nice place! We enjoyed every minute we spent there. Welcoming atmosphere, high level customer service and so so delicious food for a reasonable price. The owner of this place was very helpful and paid so much attention to every customer needs. Will definitely come back there and recommend to our friends.

Looking around Battle Ground and happy to have visited Gen Sushi. Service is awesome, and the rice noodles is as good as one cooked at home. Good amount of ingredients and taste so good. Will return with friends.

The service here is spectacular. They clearly are passionate about the quality and authenticity of their food. The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had. Eddy, who seems to be the manager, even brought us some fresh cherries that his kids had just picked.
