I've
had
4
brain
surgeries
here
(by
Dr.
LITVACK).
3
of
them
were
during
covid
lockdown
and
one
of
those
was
an
emergency
surgery
after
a
scheduled
brain
surgery.
I
had
been
LifeFlighted
from
the
hospital
near
my
home.
I
don't
remember
the
first
couple
days
(was
there
16
days
that
admission.
Almost
1
month
total).
The
staff
kept
my
family
informed
since
they
were
not
able
to
be
with
me
so
stayed
home
in
Sequim,
WA.
The
nurse
took
a
picture
of
me
as
soon
as
I
arrived
in
the
ICU
so
my
family
would
know
I
was
ok.
Then
after
the
surgery
they
took
pictures
of
the
drain,
incision,
bandage,
ect
so
it
was
easier
to
understand
what
had
been
done.
Once
I
started
to
remember
the
staff
was
absolutely
incredible
even
though
they
must
have
been
sooo
busy
since
no
one
had
family
to
help.
Part
of
the
problem
I
had
was
increased
urination,
majorly.
There
were
times
I
was
going
ever
30
minutes
and
I
couldn't
get
out
of
bed
in
my
own.
They
never
seemed
put
out
when
I
called
sometimes
they
would
even
check
if
they
hadn't
heard
from.
Even
the
chaplin
was
awesome
(not
of
my
faith).
He
visited
me
during
my
scheduled
surgery
to
see
if
I
needed
anything.
I
didn't
but
he
still
talked
to
me
for
a
bit
which
was
really
nice.
He
must
have
been
extremely
busy
since
we
couldn't
even
have
clergy
come
in
because
of
covid.
When
I
got
LifeFlighted
back
he
come
to
see
me.
He
asked
how
my
Mom
was
doing,
by
name
(That's
who
I
live
with).
I'm
sure
he
had
that
in
the
chart
but
it's
little
things
like
that
that
really
made
a
difference
during
a
real
rough
time.
