Manager/owner refused to wear a mask while preparing food. Arguing that he didn't have to. First and last visit

Takes too long to prepare. The sauce is way to sweet. The should close down and maybe serve candy instead. These were very poor quality ribs. Very over priced. There half rack would barely feed a starving child. They have over priced themselves on their brand. Aside from the rest of the menu I highly recommend going elsewhere for ribs.

Ordered online and picked up a family pack with brisket, ribs, and a bunch of sides. The staff was super busy, but they were nice and attentive. The brisket was pretty fantastic for fast food bbq. I was so actually surprised how good it was since this was the first time I got food from this location. This ribs were perfectly smoked too. I'm definitely going back.

He was so sweet to say all of their meats were very tender. 100!The food was delicious, tender Biscuit tender ribs, you don't need many teeth to eat at Dickey's!😊 the hot links Spicy 🌶and delicious. Baked beans macaroni and cheese and fried Okra.😋 is what we ate for dinner after a long bike ride at the beach ⛱

It was not enough meat for the price especially since they gave me end pieces that were very small. It was not worth how much it costed. The guys that were working there looked overwhelmed. I wanted to help them out

Slowly over the years this location has gone down hill. They were out of pulled pork and ribs this time. I am told that this is a franchise location and not included in some company promos and food offerings. You cannot order online either. When they do have what I like, the consistency is not there.

Placed order online for curbside pickup. Gave all details order was placed 2hrs prior. Upon arriving to the store at 3:55pm i parked directly in front store. I checked in on the app for curbside pickup. I waited for about 10min with no response. I noticed they were busy and decided i would give them a few more minutes and not to be pushy. After waiting in my are for 17min i went inside keeping at least 6ft from the cash register were it took almost 10min for someone to acknowledge me. I told the young lady that i had checked in online 20min prior for curbside pickup, she asked my name and proceeded to pull a ticket off the back wall and gave it to another person to fulfill my order. About 5min later the lady return and grabbed the bag from the check out person and handed it to me. No were sorry for the wait, nothing at all. I had to ask what the hold up was, and she said they don't do curbside pickup at this location. I asked to speak with a manager at this point. She left and proceeded to get a gentleman by the name of Barry. Barry is positively the most inept Manger i have ever had to deal with ever. After explaining my issue with curbside pickup, the wait, and the non apology from the staff. I was told i should take my issue to corporate. It is not their problem, they have asked numerous times to have the curbside option removed from the website. I was shocked and dumbfounded by his response. I said i would like a refund and would not be doing business here again. He said fine grabbed the bag of food and threw in the trash and walked off. Long story short he said money was refunded, i asked for documentation he wrote on my receipt refunded. I then said when will this show up to my account. Talk to your bank was his answer. I ended up calling the Compton location and they helped me with a smile. Thank you Compton crew who took my order and had it ready when i arrived. I briefly told them what happened and they say we get a lot of customer from the location with issues.

My order was late, my order was made wrong.. I drove half hour to the restaurant, waited an extra 20min for an order I scheduled and paid for ahead, drove 30min home, found out no sides or toppers for sandwiches were given, called the manager, experienced poor customer service, and now I'm about to drive another half hour to the restaurant, stand in long line for a refund, and then drive back home. This place isn't worth the nearly 3hours of my day it took from me . The manager should have refunded my card without having us drive back!! He could have gave me the difference or just let me have the order. I'm sure it will be in the trash or reserved. Beware, horrible service if there is an issue.

Only one employee in shop. Line of 4 waiting for food. Line of 6 waiting to order. Poor kid. Got to say, he was not flustered at all. Which means either he is matured beyond his age or he routinely goes through this. Bad management.

Omg!! I love it here! The brisket is amazing!!! The BBQ sauces there are sooo good! The employees are so awesome too great service all the time!!!

It was my first time there and we got the family pack with brisket. Absolutely incredible! My wife and son just loved it as did I. And the spicy BBQ sauce is the best I've ever had. I would definitely be back. Make that I will definitely become a regular now.

We ordered To-Go and picked-up. Our order was a cold, soggy, gross mess. When I called to speak to the manager "Aiden" rather than apologize he wanted to argue with me about the order. We will never return to this location.

Today this evening around 7pm I had a great time here at this location with my friend! Very clean & organized environment, awesome customer service with Tyler & Jamari! They keep this place together, very patient, good energies, & great team work. I will recommend my customers and friends to stop by here! Ima bring my baby boy & I here to eat brunch soon. Love this bbq southern food since my pregnancy. Tyler & Jamari deserve a raise from this job!!! I can imagine them as supervisors stepping towards management. The best briskets, Grilled chicken sandwiches, hot chicken wings, baked loaded potato, sweet bbq beans & macaroni & cheese are fire here! Love it!!!

Had to give Dickey's a chance to redeem themselves. The Compton location isn't that great in the customer service department. John at this location is very knowledgeable and attentive. He recommendations were or point for me and my extremely picky 4 year old. I will be returning to this location.

Long wait, cold food, didn't get everything I ordered, under staffed, supervisor was not friendly and didn't want to be bothered. She left two kids up front and took her break when it got busy on a Friday evening. The guy on the register was new. I felt sorry for the kid making sandwiches. I had heard bad thing before I went. Now I'm a believer and will not return. While I stand by my initial review. I will say that I was contacted about my experience. The person I spoke with was very empathetic. He apologized and informed me that he would work on a plan to keep this from happening in the future.

Went for the first time ordered the 3 meat meal was very GOOD they gave me three ribs. Second time went in ordered the same, they gave me 2 ribs. Third time ordering the same i got 1 rib Questioning the guy he says" we weigh everything" he didnt weigh anything. = rip off NEVER GOING BACK

My wife went to try the giant stuffed potato. that's why I decided to go and i order the tuesday special. it was a bbq ribs plate. I was surprised by the plate it was like i order sample ribs they were tiny. and the potato had no meat. i feel disappointed not coming back

The customer service could be picked up a little. The food portions are miniscule for the price. At least the meat was tender.

Curbside pick up did not work i had to go inside and wait 10 more minutes on top of the 45 minute since placing online order..and the app never updated to order handed to customer

I love Dickey's Barbecue! I got the Pulled Pork Plate with Creamed Spinach and Mac n Cheese with Lime Coca Cola to drink. The only thing I would suggest is that they need more spinach in the Creamed Spinach. Everything else was perfection. We did have a bit of a wait to order because they were finishing up a large catering order but it was Mother's Day and we had gone to 2 other places and the wait was 2 hours or more so we were ok with a little wait.

Service was slow

The staff was helpful when I was asking about the menu. The self-serve ice cream machine is gone though. Likely a casualty of the pandemic.

This is some of the best food I've ever had. Edgar is very nice guy. Great service. I highly recommend it. Fantastic BBQ.

I really enjoyed coming to this places with friendly staff and well maintained service. The food was absolutely delightful, especially the marinated chicken. I can’t stop eating the chicken. With the friendly greetings as I walk in and walk out. I’ll surely come back for more delicious food.

I usually don't write reviews, but Dickey's Barbecue Pit changed my mind. A few weeks ago, I visited their restaurant in Gardena and was blown away by their food quality and service level. First, I ordered their brisket sandwich (without pickles), which was unquestionably delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and had a smoky flavor complemented by their tangy barbecue sauce. The sandwich was also served with a generous helping of crispy fries on the side. Their service was also quite top-notch. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, ensuring I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. They were also very attentive throughout my visit, ensuring my drink was refilled and checking to see if I needed anything else. Overall, I highly recommend Dickey's Barbecue Pit to anyone looking for great barbecue and excellent service. Their food is just delicious, and their staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great dining experience. I can't wait to go back and eat some more! 5/5

From LA to Vegas, there is ALWAYS something going on. Today at this location... No fries. No okra. Dickey's is always out of something no matter the location. In Vegas, no sides of any sort. I am so over it, why bother to even come? Who wants just meat? No! us.

This place was very disappointing the service was lackluster.. was waiting to be served then the dude got on the phone and totally Ignore us... the ribs were dry didn't even ask if we wanted sauce on the ribs, and don't get me started with the sides.. Mac and cheese was dry hardly any cheese and the potato salad wasn't good neither.. and no soap to wash your hands in the bathroom, never coming back here...

Recently tried this place and it did not disappoint!!! Consider me a forever customer, I will be back for the 4th of July and Labor Day!! The BBQ was so good and I really enjoyed the ambiance & customer service was great!! I appreciate it…🙌🏾🙌🏾

Been here a few times both walk in and DoorDash, every time I go or order online they never have iced tea and it’s been different hours of the day so not sure if they ever make it, positive is they are very nice here and have good food

Not only the food expensive for what you get but it’s nasty over the years the Mac n cheese taste like the Kraft brand and the bread is not the same they used to serve every bite of meat contains more fat then meat. Will never come back!! And it’s the same 1 employee making the food and charging at the same time! Health department should give them a visit!!

Went recently had the bbq beef brisket sandwich it was on a regular hamburger bun not buttered beef was tough, sides were potato casserole no it was just mashed potatoes the green beans are no longer the original ones that had some kick taste like canned green beans all in all I wasted $27.00 for none edible food won't be back. You guys need to shape up go back to your old recipies you got worse. Customer service is great that's the 3 stars.

I was served by Manse and omg what great service🎉 For a casual fast dining place, her service was outstanding! she shared recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered. The food is a little pricey because they recently did a price increase but her service makes it worth the price.

This is not bbq… chicken tasted and looked like it came out of a Costco bag, the sausage tasted like it was boiled And under cooked and the brisket had little seasoning or flavor…. The beans were mediocre at best and the slaw was disgusting… Sorry this ain’t real bbq, I can do better at home…

2nd Time coming here, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. But today they ran out of hot links and ice cream cones. Last time they didn't have menus.

Ordered here for the Turkey Day Festivities, and they didn't disappoint. Although, we did have to wait a bit for our pre-ordered food, it was definitely worth the wait. Delicious, great price, and amazing customer service!!!!

Great bbq, although panda express drive thru makes parking a bit of hassle . Park on the Albertson side and you should be fine .

Seriously absolutely love this place. So happy to have one within walking distance of me. The cashier there too, he is literally the sweetest. Good job on customer service and being an awesome employee.

I was in the mood for some smoked chicken and stopped by the gardena location to redeem yellow points i had accumulated when I placed a big order for my hubby's birthday in February 2020, I was shocked when the worker advised they don't allow redemption of yellow points because they are a franchise, i explained had accumulated the points from their location as well as i had redeem points this location in June. Was just overall disappointed!
