I didn't believe the images of the dirty towels and bed sheets when I booked this spot, and honestly, I still kind of can't. This place looks like a brothel that doesn't take the time to fix up the rooms in between sessions. I was kind of amazed by what I saw. There were crumbs of food in the dresser drawers. I don't know how long you can leave crumbs in a place before it attracts rodents. I'm guessing management expects the kind of occupants that use the rooms for quick pleasure and decides not to put in the effort. I guess if you are okay with following up in a room used like this with little clean up then this place is fine.

Here's an honest rating: Visibly the room was clean, AC worked great, and beds were comfy enough. However, the linen had multiple hairs, to include pubic hairs because we all know what they look like. The towels were stained and also had hairs on them. The curtain liner was stained. I requested a room with 2 queen size beds and the room had 2 full size beds. Basically, they charged me $125 for 1 night in a hairy room with small beds, but the AC works. Not to mention the area makes me question my safety. Please save yourself the trouble, and possible disease, and DO NOT STAY HERE.

It wasn't too gross in the room or anything but the staff was so wierd upon checking in. They gave me and my fiance the third degree and acted like we were criminals or something. I have never recieved such a wierd treatment when checking in for a hotel. It's not like we had trouble with our payment or anything so it was completely unfounded. I also couldn't get the AC to stay on foe more than 2 of 3 minutes at a time, and then it would refuse to kick on for about 20 minutes each time so it was SO HOT in the room. Its LA. Air conditioning is necessary!!!!!!

Charged me a hundred dollar deposit at check in, when checking out a man gave me 20 back, said that was how much deposit was, acts like he doesn't understand. This place is a rip off , dishonest people who are not capable of running a honest business,

The rooms are somewhat dated but I really enjoy the great big clean bathtubs and the tile in the common areas looks clean stairs are quite a challenge to walk up if you're disabled or hard time will bility you might want to go somewhere else but always availability even on weekends I pop in and get a room

Weekly rates cheaper than Rodeway Inn, Travelodge, etc. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, road noise from PCH only. Need to replace bedspreads with some newer.

Low key spot with reasonable pricing. The owners are great and friendly. They know I work overnights and they always have a room available when I'm in the area. I never have to wait till the 2p check in time. The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfortable.

I love that they offer a 11 p.m. check in. The rate from a Friday night to Saturday morning with checkout being 11 a.m. was only $78. It's less than a half a mile away from the ocean and the downtown san pedro fish market. They have free Wi-Fi which they put on the outside of the key that he gave me. The manager which was, Arabian, I believe excuse me if I'm incorrect. He's very rude and disrespectful and talks to you stupid. The room had a queen size bed the comforter was very plastic like, the shower and the bathroom area were great. Has a separate mirror with the sink on the outside of it. Has an old fashioned table with two chairs above that is a rack to hang clothes, however, bring your own hangers. There's a mini- refrigerator with a microwave on top of it, a big flat screen TV with the table underneath it, and had plenty of electrical plugs. At 15 minutes till 11am, instead of getting a courtesy call from the front desk, from the same man who checked us in, he came and pounded on our door and said do you know what time for check out. We were already grabbing our things to walk down stairs when this happened, so we were very discouraged about coming back after he did. There's no elevator for wheelchair access. Very limited parking. We will not be returning I will pay a higher amount to stay next door at the Inn & Suite.

I recently stayed at Horizon Inn Motel and was extremely pleased with my experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the convenient location, close to shops and restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend Horizon Inn Motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

The worst!! The rooms smell!! And there was hair under the blankets!! Omg, we travel a lot and stay in resonable price hotels/motels and never had such a bad experience like the one at Horizon inn (no refunds are offered) we decided to stay and try to sleep but we had to go buy blankets at a Kmart to feel a little comfortable. Whoever gave it a good rating is lying.

This motel has a fantastic combination of rooms, rates, and service. The employees were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and are much better than Rodeway inn. The price was perfect and reasonable, I feel glad that I chose to stay at the Horizon Inn Motel.
