Food 4 Less is a no frills cost savings alternative to some of the other large food chains. They offer a variety of many name brand products although it's quite possible they might not have the brand that you're looking for. The produce is fresh and there is a wide variety of meat, poultry and sea food in the meat department. Liquor and beer are in abundance. The staff is always friendly and helpful. A great place to stretch your food budget.

Huge space. Nice wide aisles. Nice variety of foods. Good prices on wine. Great prices on groceries. Awesome bakery and already made cakes! (Try the strawberry & cream in a pie pan. To die for, under $18.) Not a "pretty" store but who cares. I'm there for groceries not the scenery. You have to do your own "bagging" but again, who cares. Only a few strikes against it: It has somewhat of a funky smell when you walk inside. The lines can be quite long. It can get pretty noisy but not the stores fault really. Although it's cheaper than anywhere else I Do wish they had something like a points reward system.

Like the low prices most of the time and the workers and manager are very helpful

They have a good sale. Best price I've seen any place lately on ground beef. Butter is always less than everyone else. They have a 5 -7 lbs bag chicken thighs at $5.49 every day low price as well. On April 1st went to but things for sausage chili dogs. How can sale price $4.99be higher than regular price $4.49?

Huge store, excellent meat ,good fruit, veggies,very organized. I always find what I need, but the bad of this store !! is there are not enough cashiers open to attend you quickly..!! Plenty parking!!

I was in there so quick got 4 cases of water, didn't wait in line, the workers were very nice especially the cashier was super cool

They have good prices, consistently the cheapest prices around. Their produce isn't that great and their meat is worse. If I want his meat I'll go to a meat market. The produce is acceptable. But for the most part you will save quite a bit there.

They have a big wide variety of produce 🍉🌽🍅🍆🍓🍇🍋🍎and a bakery Center they've gotten back to somewhat normal because of the covid-19😷 a while back the meat aisle was empty and there was no toilet paper.... Food 4 Less is a product of Ralphs supermarket and I've noticed since the pandemic meat prices and everything is gone up.... I guess you'll find that most anywhere.... and I've noticed that there was no shortage of alcohol🍺🍸.... and right next door there is a Subway sandwiches

The store has been be organized lines were long on a Friday night at 9 p.m. Careful walking near the snacks isles...there's magnets in those things

I've been shopping at food for less for yrs... The employees at the harbor city location have always been very helpful and very pleasant.. the prices are good and usually have everything I'm looking to buy..

Flor is extremely rude and unprofessional, she stared at me and asked “Hey what are you doing? Do you need help”? I simply said “no thanks”. She then proceeded to follow me across the store to deli department where she actually kicked me out of the store (I had a shopping cart with groceries) worst customer experience, never shopping here again

I do all my shopping there and my online shopping as well. the shelves are always stocked and the vegetables are fresh daily. Their friendly staff will take good care of you.

Where do I start? The fruits and vegetables are not fresh. The onions are almost rotten with insects flying around them. As you can see, the grapes are in bad shape. Every time I come to this store, this is what I see, and it's disgusting.

This store is so BIG and clean. They have clean restrooms available for the customers. The employees are nice and helpful. The bakery is AMAZING

Food 4 less is large store and great option for most things. Convenient and affordable, located next to ARCO gas, plenty of fast food restaurants, 3 dollar/discount stores and ross, its easy to take care of all your shopping needs...If I were to find an area of improvement however, note that the deli section is not as robust as it is in others like Ralphs or Albertsons. Other than that, good place for most grocery items.

Don’t go to the Harbor City location for produce. I just went to buy red onions and a bunch of gnats flew from onions when I picked one up to look and test for firmness. Some of the onions were cut up and badly bruised which is why the gnats were there. Also, the meat department smells all the way to the front doors and I have no idea why— it’s a persistent smell. I would’ve been better off going to Vons or the Food 4 Less in Gardena. Even the Compton location is 100 times better than the Harbor City one.
