Nice location in San Carlos. I love the combination of wine and food. We got a wine tasting flight and we loved their Rosé, Syrah and Primitivo. Their Barbera wine it’s one of my favorites. We had the Regina Pizza and it was one of the simplest but tastiest pizza I ever had (good for you Chef Gary). The tiramisu was so good and a generous portion. I would go for any dessert here since the quality is above and beyond. Adam took care of us and he did a great job. We became wine members after this experience. I will bring my family and friends here. *My only suggestion is I wish they had a bike rack to park your bike. We do brewery tastings on our bikes to keep my community safe…😎. This Ostreria keeps getting better and better 😋.

I'm not much of a wine drinker or by any means a Oenophile. Give me a tropical fruity cocktail 🍹 or some Japanese whisky and I'm one happy camper! My first time having a meal at Domenico Winery and what a great place in San Carlos for some delicious Italian food. The Shrimp d Avola was amazing and had lots of flavors filled garlic and wine. Very hearty! Don't ask me what glass of wine would go well with this food!

Best pizzas ever!! Crunchy, good cheese, good quality… Perfect combination with wine! And wine was delicious! Customer service was really good by Rafael, ¡Felicidades!

For a place that's off the beaten path, I and pleasantly surprised how popular this place is. Try the wine flight which was pretty delicious consisting of mostly reds this time around. I wound up becoming a member because because of the perks especially if you are local. Pleasantly surprised that they also have pizzas and fresh desserts available. I especially love having the Focaccia of the day. You never know what delicious flavor combination they will have that goes with their family olive oil. The garlic fries are awesome as well. I highly recommend having Sunday brunch, but make sure you make reservations. I joined their wine club when I first dined there and have never regretted it. Every quarter, you pay for 2 bottled of either red, white, or a combination. But you get other perks too like a free flight up to 4 people when you visit. There are also deals on take out food orders. Lastly, wine pick up are parties are awesome when they have them!

Nice Italian spot in a bit of a random location in San Carlos! Good selection of Italian and local wines. Food is great as well— love the charcuterie plates and the pizza reminds me of Italy. Great decor and atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating.

Had a perfect dinner out with good pizzas and drinks. I got the Santa Cruz Chardonnay, easy to drink and refreshing. We both enjoyed the truffle mushroom pie and godfather pie.

Highly recommend. Very friendly, professional staff and very helpful in our on-site setup changes. Came for holiday party and it was very nicely decorated, good sound system, and great food. Definite recommend for company and wedding/reception events. Only catch is the very limited parking lot spaces and also limited street parking. Highly recommend to use Uber/Lyft.

My husband and I chose Domenico Winery as our wedding reception venue, and we couldn't have been happier! We live close to the winery, so when we stopped by one day, we knew that it would be the perfect venue for our reception! From day one, the staff at Domenico greeted us with open arms, and we were so impressed by how welcoming, knowledgeable, and organized the staff was. Wedding planning can be extremely daunting, but Domenico helped make the planning process so much easier! Through Domenico, we booked our catering, tables, chairs, linens, napkins, utensils, chargers, barrel tea lights, open bar, mini donut station, and popcorn machine! The venue also has a sound system already set up, as well as a TV where we were able to share our wedding slideshow, which played throughout the party. We were so incredibly relieved that Domenico was able to help us with all of the rentals, and that was such amazing value for the price we paid. We couldn't believe how many things we were able to do through Domenico, and they were extremely accommodating when we shared our vision and what we wanted to do. We found the perfect copper chargers and utensils with their guidance, and it fit our reception aesthetic perfectly. And with COVID, the staff at Domenico was extremely kind; their staff did the COVID check-in for our guests as they arrived (they checked temperatures, immunization status, and test results for our guests as they walked in). The reception really felt stress-free, and our guests had so much fun! When it came to our signature cocktails, the staff was also extremely open to our ideas, and executed our drinks perfectly! Our friends loved the drinks, and everyone was so happy with the food, beverages, and dessert - especially the live mini donut station! We also booked the private Syrah Suite for our wedding party to spend time before the wedding guests arrived, and it was the perfect space for us all to bond, practice our grand entrances, and enjoy snacks and beverages before the party got started. It also came with a full-length mirror and a private bathroom, which I personally loved having access to as the bride! Thank you so much to Karla, Marina, and the entire Domenico team. We would absolutely book another event with Domenico, and we are so happy that we frequently get to visit and eat the delicious food at their Osteria and just remember our amazing wedding reception. The food was very good to decent, the wine mediocre, the ambiance was just ok, and the service was terrible. The meatballs were flavorful, the brussel sprouts warm, the spinach salad kind of one note but light and refreshing. The pizza was just ok - it was spicy, salty and sweet, with an unremarkable crust. The apple tart was tasty and tasted like the epitome of apple. The wine was nothing special - only one out of the four tasting wines was really lovely and compelling, the rest were kind of meh. The waiters were unfamiliar with the wines which seemed odd for a winery and did not recommend food pairings or explain what we would be tasting and what to pay attention to. The ambiance sitting outside was not great - the road noise is loud (due to the odd industrial location), and the wedding in their party space was blasting music that clashed with the music in the Osteria. The couches were hard to sit at and far away from the table, and the service was extremely inattentive and unfriendly. They got the tasting flight orders wrong, and we had to consistently flag people down to place orders, ask for dessert menus, or get updates. We felt generally forgotten and had to get up to find waitstaff in order to pay our bill. I wouldn’t go back unless I was attending a free event there. Maybe worth trying once if you don’t feel like driving up to Napa for a tasting, but for a $60 meal I think there are better options in the area.

We absolutely love this place. The food, wine, and service are top-notch, and they've got outdoor seating with heaters for those chilly days. Plus, they're dog-friendly! We even bought gift cards for friends so they can enjoy an evening here too. Ask for Derek, he's a great waiter!

My husband and I had a lovely evening here (once again). We like to come back because it’s consistently good! The food is fresh and although they haven’t changed their menu much over the years each of the offerings are delicious. The wine is very good as well and decently priced. Derek took care of us and was pleasant, attentive to our needs and really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.
