Great tasting Indo Chinese food. They have great extra spicy, extra hot food too. Good service and love the ambience too. Even though the service was good, but we were made to wait for over 20 to 25 minutes before someone even came to greet us and give us some water. But once the order was placed the food was served very fast. We were made to sit in the back room, but that room is very claustrophobic and dark and we were all feeling extremely hot in there. Seems like very little ventilation in there. In spite of all that, I love the food and the restaurant overall, so still giving it a five star.

This restaurant is right in the middle of San Carlos downtown. There is plenty of street parking available. The ambience is really nice. The food is a really good fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine style and techniques. We ordered the chili baby corn appetizer. For the mains we ordered the Pan fried noodles, Spicy tofu Tangra style and the curry noodles with honey chicken. The tofu dish was spicy and really tasty. It has fermented black beans and chili oil soy dressing which was a good balance of sweet and spicy. It really goes well with brown rice. The pan fried noodles was less spicy and slightly on the sweet side. So if you like less spicy food, this might be one of the choices you can consider. The curry noodles was mildly spiced and has a very pleasant curry flavor. There are lots of options for vegetarians and vegans .

We're regulars at Red Hot Chili Peppers Restaurant in San Carlos, California – a fantastic spot for delicious Indo Chinese cuisine. Our favorites include Vegetarian Haka Noodles, Vegetarian Schezewan Fried Rice, and Tofu in Garlic Sauce. Not to mention, the place offers great, friendly service and has a wonderful ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Had awsome food here on mother's day. Delicious food except a little wait in getting the food on table. It has become an expensive place with app $50 per person

Discover superb Indo-Chinese cuisine nestled in downtown San Carlos. Delight in the fantastic lemon pepper soup paired with delectable chili shrimp. For the main course, savor the flavorful Szechuan fried rice accompanied by spicy chili chicken. Note that parking is somewhat limited in the front, but an alternative option is available in the back lot.

This place rates 5 stars on every way! The food was fantastic, the perfect blend of oils and spices on everything we ordered, from lamb to chicken to noodles and rice... Oh and the DUMPLINGS! SO GOOD. Pair that with great service and a high class ambiance, and you'll love this place.

The place has all the indo chinese options. All the famous entree that you can get in India. The taste is awesome. The average cost of an entree is around $28. The hosts are amazing. The vibe is nice.

Excellent food and excellent service by Mickey. Lot of vegetarian options! Ambience and indoor quality could be better.

One of the best indo Chinese we had in USA, we started with hot and sour soup followed by paneer chilli, vegetable momos, vegetable coins in munchurian sauce with szechwan fried rice and ended with chocolate pyramid and lava cake. Momos were overcooked with coconut stuffing. Soup had balanced flavors, simple and soothing. Paneer chilli and munchurian and rice were really tasty, best one was munchurian, you gotta try this. Chocolate pyramid was more of cake’s outer layer with small cake inside, we don’t like that much frosting so we didn’t enjoy that one but we liked lava cake, it had very little lava inside but it was yummy with vanilla ice cream.

First time visitors, were told they specialize in Kolkata style indo Chinese food. Some of the food were good and others were okay. Liked the dry chilli chicken although have had better given my partner is from Kolkata. I think the food was missing something, may be some msg (MSG is not harmful for health as wrongly advertised these days). The heat in the food was lower maybe to cater to more Indian American standard which was fine. Service was courteous. Food was relatively pricey FWIW at nearly 50$ per person on including tips.

Loves appetizers like baby corn manchurian, chilli chicken, cauliflower Manchurian. Hakka noodles were quite thin and fresh. A bit disappointed in hout and sour soup which felt too bland and heavy. Dessert darsan Al a mode was good, tasted better when ice cream melted a bit when at home.

Good place with limited parking but nice ambience. The overall atmosphere of this restaurant was pleasant and inviting. The limited parking was a slight inconvenience, but once inside, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming environment. Now let's talk about the food. It was simply amazing! The star of the show was undoubtedly the Chilly Garlic Noodles. They were bursting with flavor and had the perfect amount of spiciness. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The Chilly Chicken was also quite good, with tender meat and a delicious blend of spices. However, I was disappointed with their Sweet Lime Soda. It lacked the fizz and soda element, which was a letdown considering it was supposed to be a refreshing drink. Overall, this place deserves a solid 4-star rating. Despite the limited parking, the good atmosphere and incredible food, particularly the Chilly Garlic Noodles, make it a worthwhile visit. Just be aware of the soda issue with the Sweet Lime Soda.

Service was efficient and friendly. Dry chilli chicken was good. Szechwan fried rice and Calcutta chicken were average at best.

Went there for lunch after several years. Food was good, as expected, service was good as well. I think RHCP is a franchise and this is one of the better ones. However the place feels very dirty, tables are sticky, condiments on the table are not refreshed, door knobs, floor everything has a icky feeling to it. I think the owners should take some time off and re-do the decor and deep clean the place. Running a business is tough but should not compromise on cleanliness.

Items ordered: Chilli chicken American Choupsey Chilli garlic noodles Great indo Chinese food. Nice and rich flavors with a delicate hint of spice. The food tasted good and service was pretty quick. The ambience is a bit somber. A tad bit overpriced. The thing which I didn’t like was the extra charges for the chicken in the noodles. The extra charges were not mentioned in the menu. Also the main courses were steep in price but didn’t even have rice along with the dish. Overall I’d still recommend this place!

If you like indian Chinese, you'll like the food here. We loved the chicken and the fish items a lot. Do not take the new Zealand lamb. It didnt taste anything like lamb.. It was fried too much. The Calcutta chicked is usually good but on this particular day it was a little overcooked (burnt on the bottom). The appetizers at this restaurant are worth trying however the noodles and fried rice are just okay. My recommendation would be to ordee more of the side dishes and appetizers.

Very friendly service at this decently sized fusion restaurant. The highlights were the small plates including Pan Fried Chili Tofu ($15) and Dry Cauliflower Manchurian ($15). However, the mains like the Chili Garlic Noodles ($19) and the Tofu in Hot Garlic Sauce ($20) were closer to average. The most disappointing, however, were the Sweet Corn Soup ($7) and the Hot & Sour Soup ($7), both of which had this thick synthetic quality to them.

This place was highly recommended by my fellow Indian Friends for the best Indo Chinese fusion food. We went to the San Carlos branch on a Sunday night. We had sweet corn soup and hot sour soup along with some grilled Paneer for starters. For the main meal we had Veg fried rice with gravy Manchurian. And lastly, we had the Chocolate Lava cake for dessert. Overall, the experience was good. Food was tasty and quantity was also good. The staff were efficient and quick. I personally had some expectation about the ambience but was disappointed there. It's a good place to go if you are craving for Indo Chinese Food. Plus, the San carlos neighborhood is a great place to take a walk around after your meal.

Everything was delicious! When we went there was no wait time to be seated but serving time took a while. I previously (pre-pandemic) booked for a large group event and got their room in the back. They let us bring our own drinks but we were charged a serving/ opening fee (?) idk what it was called exactly but just keep that in mind.

Great quality Indo-Chinese food. Very flavorful Gobi Manchurian, Chilly Fish, and Dry Chilly Chicken. The sweet corn chicken soup was great as well, with very subtle flavors.

I think it's safe to say it can be considered Chinese for Indian tastes but that's not bad. Chili chicken and pan fried noodles were good. We asked for mild which was a hint of spicy The shrimp in the noodles were a touch undercooked and a bit bland, so maybe leave it to the regular spiciness next time. Service was attentive. White long grain rice was very fluffy and light. All else was clean and modern
