VERY GOOD - small Italian place. Food was excellent. Pesto pasta and branzino. Bread pudding desert was fantastic.

Cute, small Italian restaurant. Atmosphere and service were great! Food was all perfectly prepared. However, nothing was amazing or surprising.

Very good, very hot food. The lasagna was delicious as was the Alfredo and fettuccine. Chicken was a bit tough and service was ok.

Came in after 8 and there was no one there to seat me! I didn't want to disturb the other guests so I didn't yell for someone haha, but I waited a few minutes because I was looking forward to eating there. I went to Spasso instead; they are down the street and it's the exact same price. I will come back and revise my review and compare the two restaurants.

Authentic Italian food reminds us of Italy. Several classic dishes, and always a few good specials. Staff is has a friendly, family feel. Atmosphere is nice, never pretentious. One of the top Italian places in the Bay Area.

Great place with great seafood. The outdoor seating takes up their parking lot so you have to look for street parking, but otherwise would highly recommend. They also have live music on Friday nights.

I never had a favorite restaurant until a friend introduced me to 888 years ago. Vince, the owner, is a truly stand-up guy, & staff member George has been with them since the beginning. I’ve Never had a disappointing meal & when there are dietary restrictions amongst our dining party, they have come through stellarly. Remember: ask for that crispy pancetta on the homemade soup of the day, mmmmmm nom nom nom!!

Service and food was great. My daughter has celiac, and they were happy to assist. All pastas have a gluten free option and some of the other dishes are also gf.

A very good Italian restaurant. They really have made us of Laurel Streets generous parklet policy to expand their capacity. Service was attentive. Two of us split a Caesar salad and each half was plated nicely. And the entrées we quite good. Definitely on our go back to list.

We have been coming to 888 for at least 13+ years. They always deliver very tasty dishes. We shared the Chicken Parmesan and Rissoto. OMG, they were both amazing. I highly recommend this quaint delicious restaurant.

Excellent Italian restaurant. They offer daily specials and have an outstanding regular menu. There is a good wine selection available. The staff is outstanding and exceptionally helpful. The staff goes out of their way for the customer. Recommend reservation due to limited seating.

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. Whenever I I need a special supper, this place comes straight to my head. fresh and all sorts of food and a rich cuisine.generous staff members, and good vibes. Also important, the cost is affordable. I recommend this restaurant with no hesitation.

One of the best Italian restaurants. I love the cozy, atmosphere. You can get good food all over the Bay Ares, but not the cozyness.

Food is good though the marinara sauce was watery. Wine was good but the Aperol Spritz though good was a little pale.

The owner Vince was kind enough to allow us to book out 3/4 of his place for my MIL birthday celebration. He and his staff were very knowledgeable about Cross Contamination for Gluten Free customers and were able to make any pasta dish GF/DF. Not only do they have a wonderful list of wines, they will recommend pairings as well-and they did an amazing job. I cannot recommend this business enough!

I had a great time here. While the table on the sidewalk was a little weird having people walking by and looking at me eating, it was amusing as well and worth it given the weather was great. Had to look around at first to find any staff, but once I did he was amazing. Food was absolutely amazing! The bolognese was delicious, but the chocolate Carmel sea salt gelato was among the best desserts I have ever had. Will definitely eat here again.
