Clean room, comfortable bed, good complimentary breakfast and free cookies in the lobby. What more could a traveler ask for? The front desk person gave great recommendations for food too! My only complaint is getting woken up at 4 am by a train blowing it's whistle. Apparently the tracks run right by the hotel. Still a great hotel though

The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious, and they even provided housekeeping while we were out exploring the national parks. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options. The staff was super nice, and didn't hesitate to provide us with anything we needed. Definitely a great place to stay.

The hotel was good, pet friendly, breakfast was excellent and customer service really good. I appreciate that they allowed us to have our small dog with us while eating breakfast. We got a suite for 6 people, good size but not enough blankets, pillows and the sofa bed was uncomfortable, you could feel the springs when laying down. If the hotel charges extra for the extra guests, then they should have confortable accommodations for them. Also, the toilet paper roll holder was broken, and there was trash under the sofa bed ( my dog took it out 😆) Other than that, it is a nice one night stay

Sorry our room smelled like cigarettes and the place in general is poorly kept besides the lobby which is newly remodeled. Everything else is broken inside and outside the rooms. Staff were all nice. Location sucks right next to gas station and train tracks where you hear a loud horn in the middle of the night.

Excellent breakfast and clean hotel. Room is very clean and bed is excellent. Gym is clean and has weights

This is the bect hotel we have been to in a decade! Fantastic! Clean, courteous staff, amazing breakfast, super quiet in the rooms, comfortable beds blankets and pillows. We traveled with 4 kids and all 4 said their favorite part of our trip to the sequoia was the breakfast at the hotel. FANTASTIC! So thankful we stayed here. It made traveling with our kids easy!

Rooms were well cleaned and smelled good for the most part. (Second room we stayed had a vit of cigarette smell). Service was professional and welcoming. A lot of weirdos walking around at night because of the gas station next door. Other than that great stay.

Rooms, lobby, elevator, and dining area are clean. Wish that there was another towel bar or 2 so that wet shower towels can dry out. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of USB charging ports. 2 TVs in one room may be a bit unnecessary but understand what they are trying to do. HIES is one of our go-to hotels...always dependable.

The main manager Natalie is a horrible person to call a boss. She sounds so disrespectful talking to her employees. How do you think it looks, she's white talking down to Mexican employees. I've been staying her for a week and I've seen this lady over and over be disrespectful. She has no integrity and seems racist tbh! Don't stay here if your ok witnessing this type of horrible behavior. I will never stay here again! They lost my business.

Very nice place. The staff was great. After my experience with another Fancy National chain, H I E will be my new Hotel of choice.

Natalie accommodated me and my team. We were here for construction business. Very clean rooms, great breakfast, and housekeeping was kind.

Wonderful location. Excellent price. The staff is so friendly and attentive.

Highly recommend this property when traveling. Clean well maintained, staff is the friendliest and so helpful. Breakfast has lovely choices and well maintained and refilled promptly. The General Manager is doing an amazing Job with her Staff and Guest. I will Gladly return for a future stay.
