While
the
location
was
superb
and
I
highly
recommend
staying
in
the
valley
if
you
have
the
opportunity,
our
room
was
definitely
dated.
The
caulk
in
the
tub
had
mold;
the
paint
was
chipped
all
over
the
walls,
and
the
bed
was
rough.
However,
I
didn’t
really
dwell
on
the
lackluster
room
simply
because
the
location
was
incredible.
You
can
easily
walk
to
a
ton
of
incredible
spots
from
here
without
having
to
get
in
your
car.
Yosemite
falls
is
a
5
minute
walk.
Spectacular
views
of
half
dome,
again
5
minute
walk.
There
are
plenty
of
amenities
here
as
well
(the
lodge
gift
store
with
snacks,
the
cafeteria,
Starbucks,
the
mountain
dinning
room,
and
a
sweet
lodge
hangout
room
with
a
an
epic
fire
place
and
bar).
We
got
a
cheaper
room,
and
I
understood
why
it
was
“cheap”.
It
didn’t
put
a
damper
our
stay
though.
Highly
recommend
visiting
during
the
holidays
when
we
did.
The
decorations
and
overall
vibe
were
super
cute,
cozy,
and
very
quiet.
