Not so good of a place, everything was stale I was hoping for fresh food after my 12hr shift and I didn’t find it, way to end my Christmas Day 😔 after 10 min of being there they started taking all the trays of food down! And still had to pay full price even though I had to get the same dam thing over and over that’s all they had

Buffet dishes were not labeled as to what they were.This caused trouble with allergies.The food was Bland. Only service we saw was the guy that brought our drinks. Never got asked if we wanted a refill. Save your money for a different place.

I pulled into Love's on 285 South & I 20 in Pecos, Texas to shut down. Did not want truck stop food. Walked 1.7 Miles to Golden Palace on 285 and to get some exercise in as well. The place was busy at 5:45 PM local time. This is a family operation as there was a small child running about in pajamas with protruding pacifier. Do not take your date to this place if you seek decor! Minimum items on the buffet and NOTHING is labeled! If you have allergies, you best ask what the items are. I had the egg drop soup which was not overly corn starched to death, but too much white pepper. The food on the buffet was edible but not authentic Chinese. As I got up to return to the buffet, the elderly lady, helping out cleared off my table, removing my lemonade and I wasn't finished yet! They offered apologies. The Lomein was terrible, but the fried rice was good. A bit pricey too.

The food was delicious, but then I went to the restroom, and this is what I saw. Made wonder what the kitchen looked like. This is disgusting! Hard to believe the health department would even allow a restaurant to operate in this condition.

All their food was great and fresh they were constantly putting out fresh food and the service was excellent. Went to the buffet for lunch and going again 😃

Food was good but they tend to mix the leftover buffet pans onto other pans…came back 5/9/23 and as of today there is no more hot sauce they stopped providing szechuan. As ive been here 10 minutes two people have asked for it...

The place could use a little touch up but considering it's a small town and probably the only buffet there's only so much we can ask. But let me tell you, all the food was absolutely delicious so it makes up for everything else. Very good.

It needs a very serious cleaning! The dining area smells and is dirty. Service is almost non existent but they're good at collecting the bill though. After recent complaints and pictures of worms in the broccoli on a customers plate. Then refusing to remove it off the buffet during the incident. They got the A rating pulled after a random inspection.

Not bad love the shrimp. The only thing is everytime we go the price is different. Today paid $18 dollars for a to go plate. Just saw a review pic from 3 days ago and they over charged me. An adult plate says $13.95 that's with tax included. Unless their to go plates are different it didn't say.

For a Chinese buffet in pecos, it's pretty good. Looks a little iffy, but they food is always hot and fresh. Staff does well to maintain pace with the working class demand. Seems like they always have customers so they're obviously doing things right. Pricing is decent. I feel like their takeout plates use to be bigger, but maybe I'm wrong. Overall a great place for some Chinese food

This place might have the best crab puffs I've ever had! So, it's not in the best building and the decor is antiquated at best.... But the food! Everything is fresh and tasty. And the staff is amazing. Do yourself a favor and try the best crab puffs this side of the Pacific ocean!

About as good as you can get in a small town buffet. Selection was good, Food competent for a cheap buffet. Staff friendly and the restaurant is very clean though old and dated. (Complete with sagging, water stained suspended ceiling). I came in at 2pm expecting to be the only one,but found it moderately busy. Chicken dishes a bit overcooked or the chicken was old, but OK. Very standard selection but had actual BLUE BELL ice cream among the dessert choices. If I pass through this town again I will most likely stop here to eat. The price in March 2023 was $11.90 for lunch buffet plus drink & tax

Very small buffet, only 3 rows (see pictures). 2 rows for food, and 1 for dessert. The food was cold and lacked flavor. Orange chicken did not taste like orange chicken. Not really any kids' choices, at least for my kids. As for the service, they were friendly. However, we were not offered a refill for my drink. I'm not coming back even tho I loved the cookies and cream ice cream.

It has decent food a decent selection and is mediocre at best. Nothing jumps at you, nothing amazing inside. But the food is consistent and the atmosphere needs some life to it, location isn't too good and parking is horrible. Must be careful backing out because you have to back directly into the busy city roadway.

The food was delicious, the price was reasonable, and the staff was friendly . Parking was a bit tight. I believe there's parking in the rear, though.

Was getting close to closing time. Food limited, staff sweet but 'nervous' about finishing up, seemed like cleaning was top priority. Didn't have enough sweetened tea for a refill and so close to closing did not offer to make more. Fair food from last of the day choices. Tidy buffet. Nice to have this food choice in an 'oil' town at a reasonable price.

It's pecos,you aren't going to get great. Decent options but still small and limited. Seqting is pretty worn down and wobbly booths but not a bad atmosphere overall.

Wasn't expecting a buffet, and man, blew my weight watchers points right out the window trying all the dishes. It was good, but not worth ruining my diet over.:) if you're not on a diet, enjoy.

Came to eat as a stop & go! The food was really cold, some of the fruit tasted perfumed….idk. I won’t be eating here again & most definitely not recommending!!!

This place is one of my favorite to visit. Great variety food and their crews are all nice.

Food was horrible orange chicken was chewy and not consumable I spit it out and it was just strands 0/10 would never come back floor and table were also dirty.

Great little Chinese restaurant, looks like he ck but the food is pretty good. You even get ice cream for dessert as part of the buffet deal!

This place is often closed during hours it's supposed to be open, their building is falling more and more into disrepair. They seem to be experiencing disruption in their operations for reasons unknown to me. I wish them well, there aren't too many places in town that serve their target public, hope they bounce back and do awesome in the future

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. We arrived an hour before closing. Sneered at because we answered eat here instead of to go. Dried out overwarmed slop. Greasy and some too hard to chew. After 20 minutes they brought the bill. Five minutes later they asked to collect. NEVER COMING BACK, WORST BUFFET EVER AND $33 for the 2 of us.
