The food and the service we're amazing; a truly culinary experience! It was the best meal that we had in our 6 days vacation in Sicily.

A little gem in Catania. The food was local and delicious, the quality amazingly fresh and different than what you’d find everywhere else. The dishes are made with love as well as the service. Not your typical italian restaurant, something rather special but so tasty !

Amazing place. Went here for my partner’s birthday dinner. Service was brilliant and both the starter and mains were awesome. Less keen on dessert. They also gave really nice wine to pair with our food selection.

The food is just amazing, we had a couple of antipasti and then shared a main and a second, and everything was delicious. Our waiter Antonio suggested us a really good local wine and made our evening just perfect suggesting us what to take, i will for sure come again, is it worth the price! Grazie Antonio

This place was simply amazing. My wife and I went on a date night and we were blown away by the food and the atmosphere. The food was upscale and delicious but the prices and portions were very reasonable. Our server was very nice and extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The service here was probably the best we have had while in Italy. My wife had the octopus and it was the best she has ever eaten, the beef tartar was out of this world and the "ice cream" that was on the mains was both weird and delicious. Their wine list was extensive and included A LOT of Sicilian wines both from the mountain and elsewhere. We cannot wait to go back.

Sensational restaurant with puristic interior, serving upscale Sicilian cuisine. Every dish I have tried tasted excellent and well balanced. The ingredients are fresh and mostly local. The plating is very aesthetic but not over the top, exactly as it should be. The service was perfect; patient and warm. The wine recommendations were also very successful. Probably one of the best restaurants I have tried in Sicily. No wonder why it was almost full. Sagre is a clear recommendation!

Amazing food and wine, served by a very friendly and knowledgable staff. Small menu but with a wide variety (from meat to fish to vegetarian, starter was even vegan). Everything we tried was really good. It is a bit further from the old town but well worth the detour.

Amazing place with incredible service. Our waiter was an absolute delight. All of our meals were delicious - special shout out to the starter and dessert. The dessert was mysteriously titled strawberry sauce but was as delightful as the waiter. This restaurant is top of my list if I ever return to Catania

Amazing restaurant and a must try when in Catania! We thought the service was excellent, everything was thought through even to the smallest details and the waitress was so helpful and attentive. Beautiful dishes, would highly recommend the peas as a starter and the pasta and steak we had as our mains were incredible.

Oh my god - this experience was amazing! We were taken care by the most professional restaurant team in catania! They suggested a really great local wine, the octopus was tender and not squishy! Take the buffalo mozzarella foam - you won’t regret it. The tuna as main was delicious, I know it sounds cheesy, but it was really good! Definitely worth a recommendation

I spend an amazing evening full of delicious food and exquisite service with my girlfriend while we were on our holiday in Catania. Can't recomend this place enough, if you want to have a special evening with your loved ones Sagré is definitely a place to go.

A very beautiful restaruant with delicious food and great service. Me and my boyfriend chose this place for a nice romantic dinner and we were very satisfied. Both of us had a starter, main course and a dessert and together we ordered a bottle of wine. The waiter was helpful and very welcoming, he definitely added to the pleasant feeling of the whole evening. We definitely recommend this place for its amazing food and service.

This is a fine restaurant with quality food, desserts and drinks, as well as wonderful service. The average cost of a dish is 20 euros, but you are also treated to a dish from the chef. This restaurant is worth a visit.

Awesome! Nice location and great food. Only a small menu but this is exactly what we are looking for: nice combinations of taste and everything is super fresh. You can order half portions this makes it even more interesting so you can try a lot of different plates.

We came back to this restaurant for the first time after the start of the pandemic (as we live in the UK) and we had the New Year Eve dinner, which was made of 8 courses. I had the vegetarian option. All dishes were usually made of 3-4 components, you could see the work was put in the preparation however despite that, all was served on time and with spotless attention to details. Being Sicilian, I know what are the flavours I am expecting and Salvo (the chef) delivered all those flavours with a great determination but also gentleness Jerusalem artichoke, chicory, lentils, saffron and many others very local products were cooked, mixed and/or arranged together in a way that reminded me my past when I used to leave on the island and had lunches with my all family. Many of the flavours of that night will stay with me for a long time, but one dish was emblematic of this experience: the Sorbetto All'Arancia, the way the orange, spring onion and fennel were prepared together in a sorbet is a pure example of the chef's creativity which resulted in the harmony I always hope to find in a dish. I also would like to mention that this was one of my best experiences in a restaurant since I have been vegetarian (I did phone in advance to let the chef know tough) We had 2 friends on our table with a solid knowledge of wine and they found 3 great wines from a very long wine list which were simply amazing. Thanks to the Chef Salvo and all the staff, we had a great experience and will be back asap!!
