We stopped there as we were cruising through Rethymno for a quick lunch break. The place is located in a very beautiful location with the view of the see directly in front of you. The staff was very friendly with impressive English. We go two burgers and a salad. As far for the salad very tasty with all the ingredients being very tasty. For the burger itself there are some mixed feelings. I was asked how I prefer it and I asked for medium rare. Unfortunately, the burger I received was raw in the middle which made it a bit challenging to eat. Something that needs to be taken under consideration is lack of gluten free options. Despite we have been asked for any allergies from the staff, unfortunately they did not have any gluten free options to offer.

Great place for tasty food! The twisted potatoes was really good and so was the burgers. The only thing that makes me give 4 stars instead of 5, was that even though we arrived at about 19:30, it was many items that already was sold out from the menu. I would go back for more great food though 😉

We visited as a family on the 27th July. 2 Adults / 2 teen children. We are staying in an all inclusive resort 20 mins away and we are so delighted we made the trip into Rethymno. There are so many choices to eat and I have no doubt that there are so many excellent options available. We are so grateful for the food and wonderful service at the Cannibale. Thank you to our amazing waitress Niki who looked after us and provided a brilliant meal. Fantastic burgers 🍔! Other options available that looked super yummy! Ribs, chicken thighs skewered! This was a brilliant experience, quality food, reasonably priced, with a lovely bottle of Rose to wash it down. I highly recommend this restaurant to eat. Brilliant location, amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, caring staff. Make this a place to go if your are in Rethymno. We will definitely be back!

One of the best burger around. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Food was mediocre. We had a burger and even though they said they cook it medium, it was well done at most and not too tasty. The french fries were very oliy and not too good. All in all, you will eat good but I'm used to way better burgers.

Huge Portions, Got the Chicken wings, Each portion enough for 2, Same with the Nachos....

The burger my wife had was very good but my philiysteak sandwich was more like a steak sandwich with a touch of cheese (but still tender steak and tasty)so without the typical amount of cheese sauce it was good but not excellent. Having said this we will definitely return as good vibe and pleasant staff!

Best burger in Crete with a good price and friendly staff It is a must have if you are near Rethimno!
