Pretty awful. Started off good with the cauliflower bites and went down hill fast afterwards. Ordered 2 for £10 cocktails for the bar tender to huff and seem annoyed that I had ordered them. The only decent member of staff was the young lady who seated us at the beginning. Food was rushed and was missing most ingredients. I ordered the smothered no chicken which was missing the bbq sauce and the salad garnish. My partners sweet potato curry was bland and missing the mango chutney and 1 poppadom. When asking the waiter for another poppadom he tried arguing and said it only comes with 1 even though in the menu it says '2 poppadoms'. The staff and chefs don't seem to know their own menu. No one ever come over to check on our meals too.

It's worth checking out the special offers. For example 2 courses (during the week) like in the picture for £9.49! + extras like tasty soup or cake for £2.49. HOWEVER, you have to be careful when paying! - the lady who served us had a bad day because she either charged us more than we ordered or did not suggest that we can have two dishes instead of one for the same price and we paid for one as two or she had a sour face that she had to refund us the money for resignation from the crumble pie, which spoils the atmosphere (and I understand some of the previous comments on a similar topic). Apart from the lady at the checkout, the rest of the staff, including the manager, had a good day and it worked well with them. That's why I still recommend it!

Great location for us while we were staying at St Ives. We had two meals here and found the staff really polite and helpful. The meals were the usual good standard except for the second meal when it came out warm.

The definition of below average. Food was okay, a bit flavourless, but cooked. Dauphinois style potatoes didn't really work with the carvery. Mash was dry and lacked anything. Beef was overcooked. Gammon actually popped and saved the meal from being 1 star. Service was bordering on incompetent. Asked for tomato ketchup and the server forgot to get it. Went to get some and the manager stood chatting in the kitchen rather than bringing my ketchup for the youngest's rapidly cooling food. After I got the ketchup the server returned to the table, empty handed, to ask how things were. Unbelievable.

Had to wait a long time for food to be served, and many food items were out of stock. Overall, food is mediocre and bland. It's not the worst place to go to, but there are definitely some better places out there worth your money.

Two of us placed on a table for like, 8? Right next to the soft play and screaming kids which I understand based on the restaurant, however we asked to move and was directed to the host, Callum. Instead of being helpful, Callum was huffy and gave me a throw away comment like “well I don’t know every table is booked” and walked away….very rude. We stayed on the same table and every single table stayed empty, so there was in fact space. Food came out and it was half decent, definitely not worth the price we paid (£45) the chefs forgot about our peppercorn sauce, we were told it was going to be five minutes, asked for a refund instead after waiting 35 minutes for food. Should have at least been offered something complimentary or some of the bill refunded as the service and my partners food was abysmal. I’ve also attached a photo of what they consider “medium rare”

Food was so so, service bad. I was taken to a table and waited for someone to order food, than I realised that I have ro order at the bar. Young chap that took me there need more training in hospitality I guess. Service was bad. Had to wait 1.15 hrs for lasagne. How long does it take to stick lasagne in microwave a portion of it and stick in oven to make it taste good ? As well chicken wings were hot when I ordered bbq ones, as I was hungry big time realised after my lips were burning 🔥 Extra stars for part of a service for manager and a lady who was serving and doing whatever they can to keep folks happy. Otherwise it would be only one star only for visit on 24.8.23 Pics show undercooked lasagne. Breakfast was 2* only but mushrooms were perfect somehow 👌

After arriving early to a booked table, we said we would have a drink in the bar as we were 15 mins early and had bottomless cokes to find out the refill machine isn't working. 25 minutes later, the table wasn't ready We were eventually shown to our table 30 on. We ordered our food to wait another 45 mins for my plate to arrive cold, not warm but cold I sent it back for the food to be just placed in the oven and re sent back out 4 mins later to an overcooked plate !!!! to the point of the onion rings were so hard you needed to smash with a butt end of a knife The battered mushrooms were again hard and overdone The order came out over the next five mins. The place is filthy there is food on the floors and tables not cleared the whole time were were here More staff needed to be employed.

We had breakfast here while staying at the Premier Inn next door. Food choices were very good and plenty available. Seemed to be only one or 2 people keeping everything going but they did a fabulous job. We ate here on a fouple of evenings, always busy but again great value for money, not too long to wait once ordered and the Christmas menu was excellent. Sunday eve was very busy, but the carvery looked really good and was obviously the most popular choice.

What can I say service is slow when it wasn't busy. Plus when the waitress came to take my plate way, I mentioned I was ready for my desert waited for 15+ mins still didn't arrived walked out before i did speak to duty manager mentioned the rubbish service and didn't get my desert part of my Premier Inn Meal deal. While I waited for my main course that did arrived the cutlery was fithy. I will not recommend this place

The staff were friendly on the whole, although the lady on the order bar seemed distracted. Food came in about fifteen minutes, didn't look like a lot of food for the money, but maybe I'm greedy.....

One star because cannot give zero stars! Visited Brewers Fayre Loggans Moor, Hayle, Cornwall. On Saturday 9th September we arrived at around 13.00 to see tables still covered in breakfast plates and crockery. The tables in the small terrace garden also had cups and plates on them, the terrace itself had obviously not been swept or tidied for a long time. It looked awful. Staff were nigh on invisible. At 20.15 on a Sunday, before serving us staff rudely turned away a family wanting food. We only wanted a drink and were told, again very abruptly, that we could have one drink and that then drinks were no longer being served due to all staff attending a meeting! The beers we did get were both served as short measure and staff were reluctant to top them up. Brewers Fayre need to seriously get a grip on this place. A zero star performance. Awful staff, poor service, scruffy dirty premises.

Service was good. Good atmosphere with it being busy. Fair choice of beer if all are on tap. Food Quality was not bad. Parking was ok. Do ring first to check if a table is available. Prices, nothing outstanding. Main gripe was the size of the portions. If you're a bit eater go for starter, pudding or 2 mains.

Fish and chips was excellent! Also the lady behind the bar in the evening. The people on duty on the evening shift were warm and welcoming. Sadly a couple sat opposite me 15 minutes after I did and then their food arrived after 45 minutes. Mine had not! When I asked the staff were quicker to deliver but I felt if I hadn't asked it would have never come. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Nice variety but the scrambled egg looked anemic and somehow the cooked breakfast was on the tasteless side. The server in the morning gave the impression she had been dragged out of bed.

Avoid the festive menu, our dirty roastie, came out clean😆 so after mentioning to the manager, she took it back and topped up with bits of sausages, what tasted like rubber, they did it wrong no apologies whatsoever. We aren't going back to this place at all.

A really good brewers fayre nice with a good selection of food. We went here for breakfast as the kids eat for free so for both myself and my wife it was a cheap restaurant meal with the 2 kids. Really good selection of food in the buffet style menu. All fresh and really friendly staff. Good size car park so we didn’t have any problem parking up although shared the the hotel so I suppose it can be packed at times. Good location and we will be back

Family of 4, table 30 3/10/21 @ 4pm. Amazing price point for the portions and quality of food. I had a mixed grill, steak was cooked brilliantly as requested. Kids had a 3 course meal for £4.99 each! On top of that the 2 girls who waited on us (sorry, didn't catch your names but both in red shirts) where above and beyond in customer service. Actively engaged in conversation with us and our children even when the kids where having a play up moment! Checked in to make sure mains and desert where all ok. Amazing service, prompt on food timing, desert looks amazing!

Lovely little pub. I looked for ages for somewhere to eat. St Ives was rammed, drove through Hayle, spotted this. They got us seated so late it was nearly kitchen closing time. The food was beautiful for pub food. I had the Mac & Cheese and my fella had a burger. They were both fabulous. Would go again when down that way!

Absolutely loved it good service and food we reserved a table but as we had kids with us it wasn't really suitable for us to sit there there was no problem when we asked if we could sit elsewhere all staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed nearby so came in on the first night as we were a little tired and didn't want McDonald's, which is next door. Ordered the garlic bread and the cauliflower bites, garlic bread was average, cauliflower bites were really good, crispy and full of flavour. For mains, we ordered a veggie burger, chicken burger, lentil hotpot and smothered no chicken and shared some loaded fries I think. Mains were average to be honest. Wouldn't go again, but it was convenient for us. Prices are average, the guy serving was really nice and provided a very good service. There's lots of parking here too.
