On the occasion of DURGA POOJA the balasore railway station is fully decorated with lights and flowers..

This station is situated a little away from the city. All trains don't stop here except for trains who has its scheduled stoppage. Total 4platforms in total, it's long, extended and spacious which makes the public to move at ease.

It's a small town, if you want to go Chandipur and Bagdah sea beach the nearest Railway station is Balasore. Many tourists spot are there at Balasore. Road conditions are good and the scenic beauty will be amazed you.

As I love travelling,v railway stations are my second home. Balasore railway station is not a big station but it's nice, not over crowded, on the right side of the entry you can find over bridge and lift 🛗. Also there are rest rooms, Dormitory at the station just above the ticket counter. Prices for single non-AC rooms are 100,150 etc for 12/24 hours. You can also find the rate chart. But you have to book it through the IRCTC website. There is also an AC rest room on the 2nd platform at ₹20/hour basis.

Rail station of Orisha..its a main line of HOWRAH-CHENNAI..most of train stop here..not so crowded..wheelchair parking & entrance is available..also have toilets,waiting hall & retairing rooms..
