First things first, I had a reservation due to restaurants week and Korean BBQ sounded awesome! Upon arrival to the restaurant the service already wasn’t friendly as they first said we don’t have a reservation then reminded us that they will be closed at 9pm but we were there around 8:10pm. Anyways, I was already bummed out with their hesitation to sit us yet we sat down ordered from the ‘Seattle Restaurant Week’ menu and got the Butcher Feast. Before all that side dishes were served and let me tell you they tasted store bought and the amount of meat that was served with Rosemary and cheese?! It’s a Korean restaurant like why would I want rosemary and cheese with my meat that I am about to grill and also their meat tasted super bland. The only thing I liked was their beef stew. Just wanted to grab a quick nice dinner with my family and wished the experience wasn’t so bittersweet! Not sure if people who like authentic Korean BBQ would enjoy theirs and being a Korean grill if the 5 stars reviews coming from their other food in the menu I don’t think I have to say much anymore.

First time here and it’s already a spot I know we will come back to. Great service, beautiful setting from the cute gold spoons and small plates to the sauces and banchan already waiting at the table when we were seated. They even had a kids setting ready for us. The presentation of the food was just as lovely as the restaurant itself. Meat was all fresh and tender. It was a feast for the senses and stomach.

Made reservations for 3 people on a weeknight. They set up the table and sat us fairly quickly. We ordered the large beef combo and the combo comes with soy bean soup and the egg soufflé and a small side of cheese fondue. We were super excited to try this place based off the reviews and photos. However, the non-marinated beef that came with the combo was very chewy and hard to eat. Also, the salad that came with the meal had a white dressing, kind of reminded me of the dressing from a teriyaki restaurant. If you’re looking for a traditional Korean BBQ salad, this is not it. Also, the rice was very very dry and the consistency was not sticky rice. The egg soufflé was also on the more salty side. Overall, the service was good and they were attentive but the quality of the meat is not worth the $.

My friend and I went here for the first time and the experience was great! We were greeted right away when we walked in and the waiter knew the menu well enough to help us decide what to order. The spicy pork and their beef options were good. The service was excellent, the waiter(Adrian) kept checking up on how we’re doing. Most of their side dishes were freshly made. I would definitely come back again.

Well, let me just say that the drive to federal way is worth it. It’s really nice inside, clean, bright, and ventilated. You can’t smell the food like at other kbbq restaurants, which was odd to experience. Service was good! Prices are definitely on the steeper end. As far as food, everything is extremely bland, the banchan basically had no flavor to it, I had to add my own salt, which I have never had this happen to me at any other Korean restaurant. The pork belly pieces were incredibly thick and incredibly hard to chew on. Also took forever to cook.

I had a few reservations about this restaurant. While I was excited to see they were opening a Korean BBQ in Southcenter, every time I tried going here, it was closed. (Can't be helped that the one day they are closed coincides with my day off.) The gyoza(/mandoo) was tasty, and the chicken filling made it available to people with special dietary restrictions. We had ordered the regular and marinated beef zabuton (pillow) bentos. Both were presented lovely with an assortment of different vegetable side dishes. While the namasu (picked cucumber) probably could have marinated longer, the other side dishes were done well. I particularly enjoyed the namul (seasoned bean sprouts) and the kimchi sides. For those on the less adventurous side, each meal did also come with a green salad. Moving on to the main entrees, the grilled zabuton beef was tender and cooked to a nice medium-rare/medium. The plain beef came with two different sauces, which complemented the beef well. The marinated beef was very tender and so flavorful that no other seasonings were needed. I will probably return soon to try the yakiniku (grilled at the table) offerings.

Everything was presented so nicely, service was really good. We enjoyed the meats but side dishes weren’t all that. The rice they served can be improved!! But overall, it’s worth going if you want to try something new but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again unless it’s convenient
