I am not a sailor - nor have I ever professed to be. But the idea of it has always appealed to me in a very romantic sort of way. Six folks, friends for 40 years, went out on Ben's "True" for a Sunset Sail in the Puget Sound. WOW! Those of us who had sailed the world had their cup refilled with joy; those of us who had never been on a boat of this caliber experienced the wind in our sails, leaning over into the water, while taken in the spectacular scenery. My family and I had the pleasure of an all-day sail with Ben aboard his beautiful sailboat True. I could write a million words about the amazing day we had, but in short, the boat was incredible, Ben’s expertise, company, and knowledge was top-notch, and the sailing exceeded all our expectations. We took an overnight trip for my wife’s birthday. Ben was an amazing captain and True is a great boat. Our sail, from Bainbridge to Gig Harbor where we spent the night, was amazing. We had views of Seattle, Tacoma, and four of Washington’s five volcanic peaks. Ben was more than flexible in keeping the element of surprise leading up to our whole trip, including a happy hour with friends at the dock after our arrival. We also loved Nelllie the dog, she was a great sailing companion.

We were in Bainbridge for a girls' trip in August and had an amazing time on the sunset sail with Captain Ben. He was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and most importantly, a great captain! We all felt safe and were able to enjoy ourselves throughout our time on the boat. Highly recommended!

My wife surprised me with an all day sail and overnight stay on True for our anniversary. Ben was am amazing captain and super fun to chat with. He made us feel Instantly welcome and we shared a lot of stories and had a lot of laughs throughout the day. He took us to Blake island for the afternoon (where I took a nap - lol), and then a tour around Bainbridge island which is his home, so he had lots of interesting facts to share and seemed to know every other boater on the water. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you’re like me and can’t relax…..I woke up rested and refreshed after sleeping on the boat where everything we needed was provided to us. Oh! Almost forgot his sweet dog Nelly who joined us sailing for the day.

We had a great two days and overnight on the water with Captain Ben. The boat was will appointed and comfortable. Ben shared his extensive knowledge of sailing, the local area and wildlife. Hope we get to cruise with him again when we next visit Seattle!

I booked this sailing boat for my proposal to my girlfriend. Captain Ben was nice and and easy to work with. My ferry got delayed by a whole hour so I was 45 mins late to the boat. He was very understanding and even stayed out for the full two hours. The views are beautiful. You can see the city skyline and mountains. The wind wasn't very strong and the weather was great. Also the boat is a nice unique red color, very clean. I highly recommend this sailing trip. The Captain is great. The views are great. Very enjoyable. I would love to go again!

We made a last minute decision to sail and hit the jackpot when we landed a sunset cruise with Capt Ben at Sail Bainbridge. It truly felt like we were sailing with a friend. What a gift this experience was. Perfect weather, great company AND the mountain was out. We can't wait to join Capt Ben on another adventure some day. Thank you for smooth sails and core memories.
