Haven't been here in so long! Came by after work evening shift around 9:30pm Wednesday ordered from the drive thru I got the classic combo of clams, shrimp, scallops and it comes with fries and onion rings and to wash it down with large sprite! Clams where cooked right tastes fresh, shrimp was crisp outside and inside shrimp tasted good also not oily or over fries. Opinion rings perfect and the fries golden brown and crispy lightly salted. Everything was on point! Service was great at the window my food was hot and I was very satisfied with my plate of food, after a long day of work!

Love the butter grilled bun with rare roast beef, dill pickle slices, lettuce, and tomato on my small sandwich. My combo meal came with the option of onion rings. Fries, or both. I got both. The rings were crunchy, and the fries were how I like them, basically plain potato with nothing added. I put on my own salt to my taste. There were enough fries and rings that when my husband acquired some from my plate, I did not have to give him a dirty look. There was more than enough to share. Combo meal was rounded out with a light ice root beer. As always, I am fascinated by the antique carousel horses. Food was ordered at the counter but later brought to the table by a lovely gentleman. The tray had everything. Ketchup, napkins, salt, and pepper.

Walked in pretty late at night with a big group of people, and we all ordered our food and got it within a reasonable amount of time. I got the crispy fish filet sandwich with a mix of fries and onion rings, and orange soda. I realized I had to go back for a coffee milkshake mid-meal. I finished the sandwich and brought everything else home, but it was all very good! I especially loved the classic milkshake, but forgot to dip my fries!

The size of the lobster roll is not good, I bought surf&turf before, which is cheaper and contains a decent size of roast beef sandwich, but I couldn’t tell there is any difference between the size of the lobster roll.

So I got home and I was craving a roast beef. Thought to myself "Kelly's is pretty good ill go there". Biggest mistake ever, roast beef was chewy like rubber. Tried to power through it but every bite just stayed in my mouth like I was chewing on gristle. No matter how much I chewed it never broke down. To top it off I ask for just sauce and theres barely any added.

Wish we had more of these options in our fast food chains out on the west coast. Although staff here tells me corporate is working on expanding. The food is GOOD for a fast food joint. The fried calamari is light, flaky, and cooked to order. The clam chowder has the right thickness and the salad greens are fresh and crisp. The service is also GOOD for a fast food joint. Do note the rating is not benchmarked against fine dining, folks. I’m rating it based on fast food experiences. My only concern would be the little marsupial visitor that did run out and gave everybody a bit of a show. But I have a bit of fortitude from a bit of experience abroad in developing nations and lesser places so it it wasn’t a deal breaker.

The original location on Revere Beach was a staple of my college years in Boston. Si ce then they've opened and closed additional locations throughout New England. They all serve the same quality roast beef, fries, and the world's greatest onion rings!!! I have a shellfish allergy but Mrs. Wally loves the lobster roll, fried clams,, and of course the onion rings. Friendly staff and great food. Decorated with sights and sounds of the heyday of historic Revere Beach.

I've been a fan of Kelly's all my life since when one of the only locations was at the beach. I love the fact if you are hungry they are open late until 1 am and the food is still good. I like the fact that they have a nearer location for me. Not much is open in the area after 9 pm so it's a great with the hours of operation.
