Great food! We ordered dishes from the “menu de la noche” for only 25 bs.

Great vegetarian options, deserts, and service. My favorite restaurant for the last 8 months. The owner will straight up steal your food and replace it if you don't dig in fast enough she is dedicated to making sure your meal isn't just good but great.

Very (!) slow service, place was almost empty and we still waited for 50 minutes just to have drinks; Food was fine but not worth the time waiting; Mojitos weren't to our tastes either; The location would be nice if the street wasn't that loud On the plus side: many creative vegetarian and vegan options!

I think there was tapwater in the juice. I should have asked, but still you should tell tourists or use bottled water. I've been sick with a bad stomach for 2/3 days in the jungle. The spaghetti with arriabata and parmazan cheese did not have parmazan, but regular cheese and maybe a little arriabata. The rest was good.

Great restaurant to eat, the food is amazing. We went multiple times to the restaurant. Two times for dinner and one time for lunch. You need to be patient for getting served, but when you taste their meals and drinks it's all worth it! If you are vegetarian or vegan this is the place to go, they serve two pages of dishes all vegetarian and vegan. We enjoyed the vegetarian lasagne the first time, it had an amazing taste. (Its not on the picture) For the drinks they serve this huge jars of fruit juice, it is mixed with ice and water, a great way to hydrated your body. (It was about 38degrees celcius when we were there).

They offer a menu of the day for a good price. The food was very good.

I gave 4 stars only because of the vegan and vegetarian options (the only place in Rurrenabaque), but the food is actually average at most. The "special burger" is only sour and the french fries are full of oil. The pasta Bolognese is ok at most. The breakfast was actually really nice, mainly because of the home made bread which is excellent! The service is horribly slow.

Breakfast was large and good. Eggplant burger was excellent. Portions are big and prices good. A lot of vegetarian options.

We read a lot of good reviews regarding the menu of the day. The menu advertises a soup + a main plate. We didn’t get the soup as advertised so we asked for a coffee as a replacement of the missing soup and they said it was impossible. A small professional gesture when the menu isn’t accurate would have been more appreciated. We feel scammed.

The best lunch special in Bolivia! Consistently good quality and healthy set menu. I was delighted to find vegan options here in the jungle! Excellent staff and service too!

Excellent service, food and atmosphere!

Perfect cappuccino, with a very creamy milk foam, and incredibly delicious passion fruit and Oreo cake. We came back and also tried the burgers, amazing as well. And lovely staff. A little slow, but if you are in Rurre you must enjoy that!

Amazing vegan food options! The menu is also in English and they know exactly what vegan entails and have a whole page of options. The food is great, mostly healthy and whole foods. It's our favourite restaurant in Rurre! :)

We stayed in Rurrenabaque for a week and went to Luz the Mar for every lunch and dinner. We just absolutely loved this place, it was the best in all of Bolivia. They have a delicious menu del día for lunch, which changes everyday, is only 15BOL and always has tasty options for vegetarians and vegans. Also eating here a la carte is a delight and won't break your wallet. To add to that: the staff is so so friendly. On our last night we had a chat and a drink together. Don't miss this place when you're in Rurre! Thanks girls at Luz de Mar! ❤️
