Good food in a great atmosphere. Excellent service, and tasty vegetarian options. The vegetable dishes from the grill were delicious and filling, especially the mushrooms! For the price though I would've liked more comfortable seating. (There are no backrests.) There are also no hooks under the bar to hang bags from.

Very nice food. Friendly and patient staff. Limited range of cocktails but they were happy to make drinks that weren't on the menu too.

Nice restaurant alas I prefer more comfortable sitting than their bar area which was the only option we were given! The stools are too close together to other diners for me so wouldn’t go the for an intimate dinner. I could tell the lady next to us was following our conversation 😂 The staff appear attentive and very lovely! The food was very good, and fresh! Especially liked the asparagus! Thank you for a nice dinner for me and my friend

We had the best Saturday night! The service was fantastic, the food was exceptional and the restaurant/ the ned has the perfect ambience. There was live music in the middle of the foyer of the ned which was just far enough away to not be loud but created a great atmosphere. We had a selection of hot and cold dishes, the sushi was all fantastic and the hot food was also great. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent Japanese/Asian food, fresh and with an amazing taste. The place itself it's always busy but we managed to walk-in . There's was a band playing. Wine list can suit all pockets. We didn't try any cocktail given the current situation but we'll be back!

We had the most fabulous birthday dinner for my mother at the weekend which included a beautiful birthday dessert. Our server, Ludovica, was so kind and sweet. She gave her recommendation on how to work through the menu to get the most out of it which we did and we're grateful for as it was so delicious! The nigiri platters were fabulous and the sushi rolls excellent. We also ended up chatting with her about Japan and shared our experiences of visiting the country with one another. She had the most wonderful warmth and I know my mother was so touched to have been able to share her story with someone so lovely. 10/10 for food and service, we will be back for sure.

Unique experience! The food is amazing with a very beautiful plate presentation. The place is remarkable, with beautiful decoration and many restaurants close to one another.

Food was average at best. We had to send back the wagyu steak. It was cooked well beyond medium. I've never been to an establishment where they would cook wagyu in such a way. The plates with red meat weren't fresh (obviously old inventory). Only saving grace was the miso cod, which was delightful. Otherwise, 1 star for the price we paid. On two occasions (different waiters) ruined our table. The first time, the waiter spilt sauce all over our table and nearly ruined my wife's dress. The second time a waitress cleared our table and broke a wine glass. Fortunately no glass shards harmed us. On both occasions the staff members didn't apologise or acknowledge their error. For close to £100pp spent, I won't be coming back. At a fraction of the price, we had many better dining experiences at Michelin restaurants in London .

Always happy when dining in Kaia, one of the ideal places for business lunch, which is close to the office with really quick service and good food, especially the poke bowls and the JFC.

Descent Japanese restaurant. We went there for Sushi Night and it was around 260 or 265 qr per person. Service was great and the quality of Sushi/Sashimi was fine. Enjoyed the vibes!

I've always wanted to experience Kaia in the Ned since I typically dine at Cecconi's. The food is delightful (but not exceptional), and the service is excellent. While it's a bit on the pricey side, that's expected given the venue's location. One peculiar thing was the staff member insisting we sit at the bar despite available tables. When I pointed it out, she moved us to a table instead of the counter, which is worth noting for a more formal lunch setting.

Visited Kaia for a quick Friday lunch with two friends and the food was SO nice! It's a charming little gem in the corner of The Ned. Calm atmosphere and worth the spend. The staff were lovely and I'll certainly be back. FYI: nut free kitchen ✌️☺️✨

I went there for dinner. It is important to know that there are two restaurants at the same venue: one on the left and one on the right. (Kaia is on the right). Ordering went smooth and food arrived promptly. The waitress took the time to explain what kind of fish each piece was. Only downside is that the venue is quite noisy.

Pre-Christmas treat with a friend. We ordered all of the starters- everything was DELICIOUS 🤤 Beautiful Christmas atmosphere and great customer service. Tip: if you have a bad back ask to sit at a table rather than their marble bar Can’t wait to go again!

Had a great Laid-Back Wednesday with 5 of my favorite ladies. Enjoyed the ladies night package of 4 Sips and 1 appetizer. Dynamite Shrimp, Salmon taco, Fried Ika and the Kaia sweet potato fries were our favorites... and for the drink, ooooh!!! Soho Mule was the bomb!!! All of us loved it! We also ordered the JFC and the Hawaiian Chicken, they're okay, small portion though. But, what makes our night extra special was the warmth and efficacy of our servers Malek, Chulee and Nikolas. Hope Kaia trains more staff like them. They took good care of us and never missed a request or query. Very knowledgeable about their F&B products. Heartfelt thanks to the GM Gilberto, we love your hospitality and flexibility. The atmosphere was de-stressing and the crowd, wonderful. We really felt that it was a perfect place for us... So to everyone reading this, if you are looking for a short escape and wanna have a laid back evening, Wednesday night at Kaia The Ned is perfect! You will never go wrong!!! We will definitely be back at the Kaia... Every Wednesday probably! Cheers!

Had a completely awful experience here - so utterly disappointing. Having been for amazing drinks and food at various concessions at The Ned, I had really high hopes for this place but will never be returning. Ate with a friend who is coeliac. She does not expect restaurants to ever have an abundance of options for her, and is open to trying whatever a restaurant can offer her. However, even ascertaining what she could eat was a nightmare. Every single waiter was not trained in allergens and made us feel as if we were an inconvenience, bar the manager who was v accommodating. However, I suspect he only bent over backwards to help us because we were so visibly angry at the incompetence of the staff working for him. We did get quite a substantial discount on the bill but honestly would’ve rather paid double the full price than been subjected to such appalling and chaotic service. Seriously bad. I was shocked. Would advise not to eat here if you have any dietary requirements whatsoever as the staff clearly cannot cope with it.

Went today for Brunch, interesting location in a historic bank building. High ceilings and grand location but because of this not an intimate dining experience. That aside the food and service was fine. It was unlimited starters which You could order more if required. Then a choice of mains and a desert platter. The starters came in rounds and the first round a bit underwhelmed but pace yourselves as there’s a lot more to come and gets better as you go..by the end stuffed. Highlight was the okonomiyaki, chicken bao buns, black cod

Very delicious sushi. Kaia is our local restaurant that we come very often. We ordered the chef's speciality platter, 2 salmon rolls and 1 shrimp rolls. I enjoyed the salmon rolls and otoro nigiri. Shrimp roll seemed a bit stale, not old tasting but not fresh either, the batter didn't have a crunch to it. Maybe the batch today didn't cook as planned etc. Cannot wait to come again.

I was so impressed by the value for money with this beautiful poke bowl. The seating (high shared tables) won’t be for everyone, though I think there are some normal tables too. Very much recommend this dish! Plus enjoying the bar at The Ned afterwards.

other than the sushi selection, the attendant suggested to try a new dish for feedback (the udon ramen). i cannot wait for it to be official on menu! i love it so much that i’m still thinking about it occasionally 🤣

We got there late, the service was impeccable. Had a delicious sushi set and a tasty starter, Very helpful waiter. We later headed to the main bar for a glass of wine and a live band was playing, it was such a pleasant night.

Hawaiann & Japanese fusion food. I enjoyed the vibes and their JFC was as great as its name! The only thing was that probably because it was busy, the waiters were quite pushy to take orders or empty plates from us and it made me feel uncomfortable, and they were quite strict with the time. I wanted to relax a little bit during the stay.

Beautiful food, great service and atmosphere thanks to the open plan gigantic Ned Hotel housed in the palatial surroundings of the disused Midland Bank building.

It's a Japanese cuisine restaurant in the heart of City of London. Food are awesome in taste and super reasonably priced. We were 8 people eat so many things and the bill was very reasonable. Very lovely and fully occupied. Make sure to reserve the seat. Sushi is must very delicious. I visited here couple of times and will visit again.

I agree with the previous reviews, the dishes are slightly overpriced. Apart from that the food was tasty. I chose some tuna rolls with ponzu sauce as starter they were really fresh and light. My partner had fried chicken and it was really tasty. As main I opted for the aubergine and some coconut rice which were fine, nothing amazing for the price but it was tasty. My partner had (thanks to the other reviews) the black cod and it was truly the highlight of the dinner, the texture was particularly enjoyable. Finally, for dessert I chose the pineapple with coconut and lime sorbet which was a nice and light way to end the meal, whilst he had a selection of 3 ice creams mochis that he did enjoy too. Tbh the dessert are really overpriced but we were too tempted to try. I would still recommend that place but the room can be quite noisy so definitely not the best for a romantic date.

Fantastic service delivered by the team here. Even though the allocated time was 90 minutes, they have us extra time. The restaurant was understandably busy, and I can see why it's so popular. A great selection available on the menu. I would recommend it to any foodie, as we as those out on a date. It's set within a historic building. I'll no doubt be returning to visit the other restaurants.

The staff were amazing, I could not fault them one bit. Very polite and helpful, food was nice but not wow, prices are reasonable. Only thing I felt uncomfortable with was the squashed tables, no hand sanitiser and no social distancing at all. This was a little scary as Covid is still very much alive
