Going simply based on ambiance this restaurant looks and feels amazing, I have not rated here as yet so I won’t pretend to know about the quality of the food, but the look and feel of this place is lovely. I’ve been in here on several occasions and the feel is always the same so it’s one of the places I plan to sit and eat in. It’s situated only around a five minute walk from Camden station so it’s easy to get to, parking is possible just outside in paid bays. The inside is beautifully decorated and looks like a place your date would be impressed with for sure, my next mission is to try the food, it has a very impressive bar at the back of the restaurant and the cooking is done in the basement area. The staff are polite and friendly and one in particular has been there for years so you have degree of consistency. On this review it’s mainly photos of the venue as opposed to comments about the food so please let me know of your experience.

Best Turkish restaurant in Camden. The food is tasty, but lucks a bit on spices than other Turkish restaurands, more Europianised. Saying that, the tendernes of the meat, the freshnes of the materials and the service of the personell were the best in UK. Amazing, tender, superbly cooked, lean lamb chops. (Too lean for my liking - fat makes the taste). The starters were superb. Good food portions, not huge aa other Turkish restaurants but superb quality. Prices average. Personel very hospitable and accomodating. Good seating space. Will be back even though it lucks a bit on spice, but it is high on quality

I was about in Camden and really fancied a Turkish meal. I quickly googled and found this to be 2mins from me. I ordered a lamb chops meal to take away. I always substitute rice for bulgur as it’s my favourite. I should’ve seen the red flag when I was told they don’t serve bulgur or lamb ribs (I initially asked for lamb ribs) !!!! Anyway I settled for rice and the lamb chops - when I got home I was so disappointed. There were 4 tiny chops and no lie 2 table spoons of rice… not worth the £17.50. The chops weren’t flavoursome at all. If I lived closer I would’ve returned this whole meal. Truly disappointed. Another red flag was the fact it was empty minus 2 people eating in at 7pm!!! They must only thrive for in house dining… I’m so unsure how people have said it’s the best!

The food was fine. The quantities were great and the chicken casserole was amazing. The rice however was slightly undercooked in both my plate and my wife's. They brought the food very quickly though which was awesome and the staff was very friendly.

Had a delicious dinner with friends here. The food was nice, they have lots of interesting options for starters. The decor is also very pretty and homey and service was good. Will definitely be back!

Came here for a meal prior to Jazz Cafe evening show. A good selection on the menu. Food reasonably priced. Many tables full, added to a good atmosphere. I had what I think was the Laz Special. I could be wrong! Would definitely come back here if in Camden.

Friend reserved space for her birthday here and it was a good vibe the entire evening. Food and service were great - there was also live music. Place itself is very cute and definitely gives off modern meyhane vibes.

Absolutely wonderful establishment. I came with my partner and we had two breakfasts (£20pp) with the food in the photo, fantastic quality, great tea and our server was so bubbly and helpful. Highly recommended and you'd be a fool to pass this place by. We will definitely be back for more!

Pretty nice ambience on heart of Camden market. Restaurant in general is very nice and has flavorful dishes. You can find many traditional Turkish food. Dinner’s and night live music 🎶 sounds great. We really loved the Ali Nazik, Humus, Fig Goat cheese, bread. We took Trilice as desert and it was amazing. Ambiance can remind you lots of Childhood memories if you are Turkish 😍

What an amazing small restaurant and the meat is juicy, well seasoned and tastes good!!! Very good, but it would be good if they gave free Turkish coffee after the meal. Proper traditional Turkish restaurant

I was on my way to catch my train from Euston. Stop here for breakfast. I am on a gluten and dairy free diet, they have changed their breakfast menu to meet my needs. Food was delicious and unlimited Turkish tea was a bonus. I will definitely go back..

We came here for traditional Turkish breakfast and it is one of the best ones we had in London. It is not in the menu, but if you come here after 11 am in the morning and ask for breakfast, they bring a very delicious set of Turkish breakfast. Considering that there are not too many options in this area, it is a hidden gem and not expensive.

All our food was excellent but for the price I would expect to leave the table with a full belly, the fact that even the children in our group completely finished their adult portions suggests the portions were a bit small. We only had two courses, would have loved to have had a dessert but it had taken exactly two hours to be served the starter and main, despite the restaurant being half empty and plenty of staff milling about. Our starters were finished by the time we managed to get attention for more bread. And they did that typical restaurant trick of making us ask for water several times to different waiters before it eventually arrived. £120 for four, only two courses, is not great value. There is much better in the neighbourhood.

Great staff and super customer service. The food is delicious and a great mix of soul/comfort food plus healthy sides. Especially the houmous is just marvellous. Highly recommendable are the fish/seafood dishes. Prices are ok when taking into account the circumstances (London/Camden). The restaurant is fantastic!

Tried the two main course, my fave are the Mediterranean aubergine, as starter, and the Lamb Kofte, as main. Delicious and super tasty. The food is very good and the service lovely.

We experienced this place today. We ordered traditional meals " köfte and ali nazik". That all on the plate were delicious and fresh. The staff working restaurant were both kind, helpful and friendly. And also service was pretty fast. Highly recommended.

Seriously good food. I eat in alot of Turkish / Mezz restaurants all around the South East and London and this is probably the best I have ever had. Walked in on the off chance as was working nearby and so glad I did. I ordered a staple Chicken shish which comes with pomegranate salade and was very nice, chicken shish was cooked perfectly with lovely flavours. If you order the chilli sauce it is not too hot, but slightly sweet with perfect amount of heat from the chilli, very very good!! I really couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The desert I had in the picture was also very good. Not sure what is was called but tasted great! Will definitely be back !!

Food wasn’t great. Below average food and expensive for what you get. Was sat near the door on a cold windy day, door kept opening and not closing fully which I had to close myself all the time. Asked to be moved but they didn’t seem bothered.

Went here last minute on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant was able to accommodate us even though we did not have a booking. All the food was very tasty, and came out promptly. Really enjoyed the mix grill and the falafels, would definitely go back again.

Awesome food and service. Chocolate brownie is different, but lovely. Has almond pieces and dense chocolate. Vanilla ice cream. Divine. Had the lamb dish also. So soft was the lamb. Succulent. Would definitely recommend and come again. Met a friend of mine before going to Koko

The team at Laz were friendly, attentive and provided us with great service. Food was well presented and tasted really good! Portion sizes were a little smaller then we were used to, but probably reflected a London tourist hot spot. Nonetheless we came away stuffed, satisfied and would definitely go back next time we are in the area.

My favourite restaurant on Park Way, I’ve been coming here for years and for so many different occasions. The menu is exciting, with many vegan/veg options + plus an enviable wine list and tasty cocktails! The decor is beautiful, especially the sky light area. Service is always great and personable, much love guys!!
